Even for a person like me that knows nothing about art I had an enjoyable time. Almost everything caught my attention if even for a brief period of time. Staff was welcoming and pleasant. It is definitely a destination location.

Laurie Martell at Madaras Gallery is AMAZING! Extremely helpful and professional. Refreshing these days. I am an Interior Designer and recently purchased one of Diana Madaras canvases for a clients home. Its stunning! What I like most is it is in the entrance to their home however, I placed a mirror on the opposite wall so you can see the beauty of the painting while your in the rest of the house! I’ve shopped at Madaras Gallery several times and it’s always a wonderful experience. The staff is great! I really like looking at all the beautiful pieces. I most recently got my mother-in-law a beautiful box with a hummingbird on it for her 90th birthday and she loved it. My goal is to someday get a great Southwest piece to go over my couch. So much to choose from and they’re all amazing. If you love Southwest art this is the place.

This gallery has a variety of artists displaying paintings, sculptures, etc. with a variety of techniques, so there should be something to appeal to anyone’s taste. I like to not only admire the art, but also find beautiful gifts!

I must love Diana’s work—I have 5 or 6 pieces in my home! Her use of vibrant colors to depict life in a sometimes drab desert is amazing. Thank you Diana for sharing your beautiful gift.

Have always had extremely wonderful experiences both by phone or personally at the Gallery. Everyone is very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Also, the Gallery is a great place to shop for both big and small gifts, and an opportunity to be surrounded and lost in the beauty of all the many paintings.

I ordered 3 prints recently and they are beautiful! One had to be specially printed for me, but I got an email letting me know of the slight delay. Such a beautiful gallery full of beautiful pieces. We were in to get a Tucson gift for a friend who recently moved to Kansas. We went to another gallery, and then thought, whats more Tucson than Madaras! With the knowledgeable help of the saleswomen there, we chose 3 stunning Tucson tiles. They packaged and shipped them for us, and all made it safe and sound. Oh, and btw, the friend LOVES them!

First visited many years ago when our son and his wife moved to Tucson. I have shopped in the gallery and on-line - I live in Virginia. Both experiences have been outstanding. Recently purchased early Christmas gifts at the Gallery and had my son pick them up. Of course they peeked! And loved their early gifts.

Had a great time looking around. So many beautiful items. I purchased a cat figurine that is big enough for a medium sized battery operated candle. I didnt pick up the base it was sitting on. The gallery called me & told me I missed it. They sent it to Phoenix free of charge. I really appreciated it.

Went there because I had seen her art at the Tucson Airport about 3 years ago and loved it. I went to the gallery and was pleasantly greeted right away. They were having a sale which was starting in a few days but I was only in town for 3 so they offered me the sale price. The gallery is wonderful and they have some great pieces. They also have things for gifts for house warming etc. I will go back when I am in Tucson again. P.S. I did meet Diana while I was there.

The Madaras Gallery is fun place to visit. It is a charming place full of beautiful paintings and other works of art. If youre on a budget, but love the paintings, you can purchase a print at a very reasonable price. There are also notecards and trivets and other lovely gifts. While I havent had the pleasure of visiting the gallery in person I do like to peruse the website and catalog at home. The artwork is incredible and unique to this region of the US. My recent (and second) purchase was of an image of a place I had visited on vacation years ago. I am so pleased to have found something beautiful from this collection to enjoy the memory every day. We bought beautiful cups at the gallery that we treasure. I, of course, chose one of them to break. We sent them a picture of the cup, asked if they could replace it and with the next batch of cups they received containing the image we wanted, they let us know and shipped it right out. Went in excited to explore & support local art. Arrived to learn theyre requiring masks even for vaxd so we opted to leave. Calmly said, no thanks, well just leave and walked out. No confrontation, no yelling, we just left. Yet the staff member started going off about COVID, then chased us out into the parking lot, yelling at us about how their director is immune-compromised. Not sure what that had to do with us. It wasnt our fault that an immune-compromised person chose to work in a business open to the public.Disappointed by the lack of rationale in their policy, but mostly in the hostile treatment by their staff after we chose to leave.

We had a lovely experience through this gallery. Valerie made our time personal and special and we love our pieces of art.

The gallery staff are friendly, knowledgeable and offer great suggestions to collectors and new buyers. I have artworks shipped to Canada and each piece has been carefully packed and arrived safe and sound. Dianas artwork is spectacular - her paintings make me so homesick for Arizona and feel like I could just walk into her pictures and be there. My latest acquisition from her gallery was a very delicate mask but not a feather was out of place when it arrived in Toronto.

We discovered Madaras Gallery through a posting by Roomrater on Twitter and began exploring Diane’s art on her website. When we saw the Twin Peaks triptych we knew it was a perfect fit for our home in Colorado. We placed our order and found that the art, in the size we wanted, was not in stock but that they would create the piece we wanted and ship as soon as possible. The art arrived today and it is exactly the addition to our home that we hoped it would be.

Being a Tucson native, living in Phoenix, to remain connected to the Old Pueblo, the Sonoran desert and Catalina Mountains, I have Diana Madaras art throughout my house. The quality of the prints, tiles and giclees are outstanding. The staff is very accommodating and the gallery is lovely.

The gallery is laid out wonderfully and Kathy, the gracious host, was so well versed in the individual pieces and artists plus was a so pleasant and accommodating in the purchases. After viewing the virtual Madaras gallery online, and needing to get some gifts for the holidays, we chose this same day to go and visit. We were able to fill out some of our list with the variety of items offered here. There is something for everyone. This is one of our favorites over the years, so it was nice to see that there were protections in place to ease ones concerns while shopping in person.

I have only been to the gallery once, but I have ordered merchandise on line. I am from Idaho and have always loved Southwest art and decor. My visit to the gallery was excellent! Her use of bright colors is superb, and she is so versatile. There will be something there for everyone. The website is great - so easy to find what you want and place an order. Madaras Gallery is like an oasis in the middle of the city. The Gallery has a homey feel and Dianas art is on display throughout and in many aspects. From small gifts to large paintings you have no problem something you like. I even got a phone cover with one of her beautiful mountain scenes on it. Well worth a visit.
