I was working on a needlepoint canvas and ran out of wool thread ..two times. Ugh. But I received the correct thread within a few days (which I could not get here or even from Austin). Amazing place for many different things. There is everything needlepoint related, greeting cards, great help, needle point classes, social needlepointing, seasonal gifts, small gifts, games, greeting cards for all occasions, and best of all: no tax since they are a charity organization.

The needle workers go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase & will help you in any way they can. The threads they carry are many & varied. Well worth a visit!

I stop at this store every time I am in Tuscan. They have a wonderful selection of needlepoint canvases and a large variety of floss. They also have many different gift items as well so you can bring a friend even if they not interested in needlepoint.I have always found the personnel her to be very helpful. They are all volunteers and go out of their way to make their shop a success. They are a 501 (c)(3) charity organization.Definitely take time to visit!

OMG! Such a wonderful place to shop! The ladies were so nice and helpful. I didnt realize the store is run by volunteers. No sales tax here! ALL proceeds go to local charities. This made me feel VERY GOOD as I have been wanting to donate to a charity this Christmas! I bought several items for myself: an early Christmas present to myself AND helping out the community at the same time! I highly recommend this magical place!! They also sell alot of craft supplies, especially for folks who enjoy sewing, needlepoint, etc.!

Easily the most amazing embroidery, cross-stitch and needlework shop in Tucson or pretty much anywhere around; I honestly dont know of any place that even *approaches* it when it comes to thread supplies-- silk, linen, wool, cotton, metallics, you name it. A pretty amazing assortment of gifts, too, particularly childrens toys to do with the Southwest. A wonderful place!

Has unique items- many hand-made that you will not find elsewhere. Very eclectic mix! AND all the profits go to charity.

This is a hidden gem for craft people. They have such lovely patterns here for all types of needlework. There are also beautiful items for gifts here for all ages. A true sense of calm and wonder comes over you here. Give yourself plenty of time to look around.

Small shop with rude snobbish employees. I went in with my children and the cashier followed me the entire time with her hand on her hips. She must have assumed I was going to stay something or my children would break something.Dont waste your time helping this local store. Spend your money elsewhere.

The West is a fantastic store for getting craft supplies and help from volunteers. Extensive number of needlework patterns (including from local artists for Sonora landscapes or the San Xavier del Bac), threads, and accessories.
