I had such a great experience with this company! My AC was no longer cooling my home and I called at around 10 AM and someone was at my house to fix things by 5 PM! Great turnaround time considering I had called another company before and till this day they never contacted me back. It was a simple fix and everything was up and running properly within less than 30 minutes. AC is working perfectly now. I will definitely be using this company for any heating/cooling needs.

Advantage installed my main house A/C a few years ago and the service was and continues to be excellent. I opted to install a mini-split into an additional room and immediately contacted Advantage, once again was thoroughly satisfied. Today they went above and beyond by finding and sending me a manual and even volunteering to send a tech to walk me through a simple task. Very seldom will I review services but Advantage has proven to be worth the exception!

First experience with an HVAC company in Tucson. They got the AC running again in no time and we were so thankful because no AC in 100 degree weather is just the worst. Matt, the tech was on time, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. The price was not anything to cheer about but please understand that is in no way a bad reflection on the company...the AC repairs we needed done were expensive repairs that is not their fault. They were super understanding about it and gave us a VERY good deal for the work they did.

Amazing Duct work cleaning !!The machine blew a fuse. I went to ACE and my husband replaced it with a brand new fuse.Everything-is up and running. CULVER moved to another area of house and just kept on working.Very hard worker. Very polite. Has kept us informed during the whole process.So if the office feels this appointment has taken too long - for any reason. It is NOT Culvers fault. He is doing an amazing job.We were not sure where all the power outages were in the house. But when we figured it out - he went right there and started back in.Nice guy!! Pat the guy on the back. You hired a good one here !!And we think the ducts have never been cleaned!1981 home. Culver has retrieved lots of interesting bits from down below inside the ducts. Best decision we have made so far with our newly purchased home - was hiring Advantage Air Mechanical to do the duct work cleaning. Would recommend!!

DO NOT USE - PLEASE READ - DONT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OFMy ac went out on a Sunday. I called Advantage to diagnose the problem and was told the whole unit would need replacement. Then they quoted me an exorbitant price for a new unit that they couldnt install till at least three days from then and only if I ordered on the spot (high pressure sales tactics).. Luckily, I was smart enough to wait till Monday when other ac contractors are open. I got one installed that day for 40% less than Advantage quoted, same size and same quality unit with the same warranty. I was a ripe target for this company that is aptly named because they take advantage of people: I was an older single female on a weekend during 100 degree plus temperatures and during the COVID 19 quarantine where I had to stay at my house. DONT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM!!!

Steer clear! Installed the wrong valve on my unit. Entire unit failed! They offered to pay for the price of the valve ($300) and then offered me a “great deal” on a brand new one for only $8500. Worst experience ever. Should have taken them to court since even their diagnosis in writing was that they installed the wrong valve... highly recommend finding someone else that is reliable.

My home warranty company hired these guys to come check out some problems we were having with our swamp cooler. Don was the tech who came out and he showed up on time and was able to fix the problem right away and also gave me some information about how to properly maintain my cooler. They are the worst company Ive ever done business with. I now see 60 reviews on Yelp and ALL of them are 1 star and have stories similar to mine. Ill give the short version, Im 4 techs and 4 visits to my house over 35 days and I still have no working ac. Todays tech is sending amother guy tomorrow because he doesnt go under houses, so as of tomorrow Ill be 6 techs. They all have lied on paperwork saying they actually did their job and not one did. Correction, the last tech had no choice because me, my husband and the owner of the house all followed him around making him actually find the leak the others said they looked for. Once he found he had no idea how to fix it, he sat my porch on fire and one hour after he left Im without air again. Now Im 6 days later waiting on another tech, and he doesnt go under houses. This company is a complete scam!

I have found the people at Advantage Air Mechanical to be sincere and truly concerned with my comfort needs. From the first initial visit to each seasonal checkup they have never let me down. I use to have Hamstra servicing my equipment but i began to notice the technicians wanting to upsell the visit with what they called optional accessories. Our 20 year old water heater was just not cutting it anymore. Kevin and Daryl showed up exactly when they said they would. The job Advantage Air Mechanical did was fantastic, even though the job turned out to be much more extensive then anyone could have imagined. The previous owner of my house did many of the repairs and remodels. He vented the water heater right into the roof, not through the roof. Luckily no one in our family became sick or died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Kevin and his guys saw the problem, fixed the problem professionally and without any major delay. The extra charge for so much more than what the original job called for was more than reasonable. Advantage Air has earned another loyal customer.

I have bought 5 airconditioning/furnace systems from Advantage Air Mechanical over the past 7 years. I have used them to fix any problems with airconditioning and heating at my 9 properties over the years. I was very loyal and they were the only place I used. I called on them to check stuff out several times a year. I was very happy with the quality/speed/price of the customer service for many years. Within the last year, the manager that I worked with, Victor, left the company. Since then, I have called about two different properties. One I couldnt even get them to return my call to check out. The other just ran out of their service warranty. It had been checked out every year for the same problem and the problem had never been rectified. After talking to my new contact at Advantage Air Mechanical, he said they would check it out, and if it is still the same problem, they would honor the warranty and fix the recurring problem. The tech called me while he was at the property and said the company would fix this problem and find out the underlying problem that was causing the recurring problem for free. I called my new contact three times in the next three weeks with no response. I finally had to get another company to go back to the house and fix the problem because the tenants said the problem was not fixed. I am so unhappy with the service since Victor left. I cant believe I have spent thousands of dollars at this company and they can not even call me back. I expect much better customer service from a company that I have bought 5 systems from and used several times a year. Im sure if you are a single homeowner, you will get even worse service.

My Father-in-Law moved back east and gave us his mobile home and with it his Rheem HVAC - One thing my Father-In-Law was precise about was keeping records - so I have them and the service records for his Warranted UnitThese guys sold him an over sized unit for a single wide (bigger isnt better when it comes to A/C - Google it), Not only that but they sold him a unit that is known for faulty TXV operations (Google provides plenty of reviews on the faulty part).So now Im sitting here with over a grand $ to replace a warranted part (Freon isnt included in limited warranty) because the unit has a defective Flow Control Part and no shut off valve for the Freon - Translation I have to pay for the Freon to be sucked out, recycled per Fed regulations and then replaced with clean Freon.Ripping off the elderly is Total B.S.Thats why I switched to another contractor

Came early. Great job. Expert at plumbing. The serviceman named Forrest Frosty came to the house and fixed about five things for us. A leaky showerhead, a clogged tub drain, a leaky outside faucet, a loose kitchen faucet, and a clogged garbage disposal. All fixed very well and in record time

Its been a week since the air went out and my call was placed to AHS. Seems to be a theme developing here! Said they could come between 12-5 on Tuesday, 6 days later with 110 degrees and 94 in the house. Here it is 6:30 pm and no courtesy call and I am still waiting after missing an appointment. I am getting BBB involved!

Had both HVAC units replaced as they were old and failing. One unit cooled fine, the other seemed to have a persistant problem undetected during 3 FU service calls. On the 4th, Daryl finally figured out the problem. Its fixed. Am happy with the performance - better cooling with decreased electrical use. Has been so warm this winter we are not heating yet.

Placed a call to AHS 8 days ago. I had a appointment setup 3 days ago that they never showed up to. No call or contact about their failed attempt to come to the house. Overall horrible.

Initial install was bad, so I called for a redo. Now, my less than a year old unit is broken. They installed a defective unit, and have been out 4 times to repair this piece of junk. Still no heat for over a month. They lack experienced technicians, parts arrive on a slow boat, good luck talking to anyone. Leave a message, and maybe youll hear from them. Worst customer service ever! You might save money here, but you will not be happy living without heating or cooling.

Dont even waste your time trying to call this company. If you have American Home Shield (AHS) Im sorry your going to be playing the run around game with this company since theyre the only company AHS uses.AC went out Monday afternoon AHS put a work order in and said the company has up to 48 hours to call to even set up an appointment. The next morning I called Advantage to set up the appointment since I have a three month old at the house( who was two months premature) so I need to get the ac back up and running ASAP. Advantage said they couldnt have a technician out to mouse house until THURSDAY.Total unacceptable with having the 3 month old at home. I was able to have AHS call on my behalf and they said they could have a technician out to my house between 3-6. I even called to confirm the time. Since I really dont trust to many people I dont know now a days I left work early to wait with the wife. 6pm came and gone no call and when you call the so called EMERGENCY number you get a voice mail. NO ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK.Called the next morning spoke with a different lady then the day prior say said I never had an appointment for the day prior and it was actually today from 3 to 6. Talk to my supervisor and was able to leave early again. And guess what the same thing 6pm comes and goes and not a single call or anything form Advantage Air. Call the number back multiple times and got the same useless voice mail and left several messages.Do yourself a huge favor and just call another company. Youll be glad you did in the long run.

I had an issue with my A/C in mid June, I went through American Home Shield and they sent Advantage out. Took two weeks to get them here the first time. The very next day my A/C went out again. I called them, set an appointment, the technician never came. Called them agian, set another appointment, but rain scared them away. Called, AGAIN, set another appointment. The technician came out, was here for 15 minutes and said, everything looks good, you shouldnt have anymore problems. Three hours later, and my A/C went out AGAIN. They have an emergency hotline. They say there is always someone to speak with 24/7. WRONG! Called their emergency number four times today and nothing. No one to speak to, no technicians available. Their customer service is terrible, they speak as if they dont care, and no one has made attempts to get to the bottom of the issue. and Im stuck with them for now. Ugh...

I feel bad for taking so long to write a good review about AAM! The management company that my landlord uses has AAM as their HVAC guys. The first time I spoke with them it was long after business hours but my Heater was broken and I was insistent that I wasnt going to spend the night cold! Typically, that wouldve been end of story but thankfully the people at AAM, are both professional and a gentleman, walked me through lighting my pilot light over the phone. Problem solved. Next, the air conditioner went out.....in July....in 100+ degree temps.....it was horribly miserable! Management company sends AAM out, and I felt so bad, it was BAKING where the tech was working! Not one complaint out of the tech and he had the new unit in quickly and working perfectly. Months later, the heater finally crapped out for good. AAM sent out another one of their guys. And again it was fixed quickly and properly. Currently I am in a rental and the property management company contracts AAM. When I am a homeowner again I will DEFINITELY call AAM for any HVAC work that comes up.

Similar to the other reviewer, we had American Home Shield send Advantage Air Mechanical out to service our air conditioner last week. The guy spent 10 minutes looking at our machine, said the filter was dirty and the coolant was a little low and that we shouldnt have any more problems with it. Now the whole system is dead, and of course we cant get an answer out of Advantage. We have an infant in the house, and its 90* in here. Weve called repeatedly, and their claim of, A real, live person will always be available to answer your call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is obviously a lie.

Serious safety issues with the work performed with bare wires left exposed, bolts missing from fan motor and fan blades rubbing against the cooling coils. They claim the job is complete. When I called the emergency line I got no call back. This company is in over its head. They have been out several times due to a contract with the home warranty company or I would have changed to another company long ago.

Beware of this company. They will rip you off. They are by far the worst company I have dealt with.
