Loving my new tent kit. Even tho its kinda broken.Upon constructing my tents frame, one of the small corner pieces snapped with little to no tension. I called to try to get a replacement and was told I needed to file a claim and ship the broken piece back. I felt that the rep I was talking to immediately assumed that I assembled the frame incorrectly so then I was kind of an a** to him on the phone and said forget it Ill just tape the sucker togetherThey ended up sending replacements in the mail without telling me.. so thanks! 🤠

Like my High school social studies teacher I was a senior but he always said hed like some the tomatoes I harvested, and hed laugh.I thought he actually ment my tomatoes, but he clued me in after class one day... from then on out I knew, he knew, that we knew I had been roasting tomatoes during lunch.So I brought him some tomatoes one day and I got 92/100 on my final exam, when I did about 72/100 quality...Ah dang I never told a soul, cause I didnt want to be in trouble. After waiting for hours from a quote from 2 different people that were supposed to take 15 min, I was provided with a quote that had a shipping rate almost $1700 more than their competitor to ship the same thing (see photos). I wanted to support a local brick-and-mortar store rather than sourcing myco and fertilizer online. This place is pretty out of the way and when I walked in I realized I had wasted my time. There were a couple folding tables up with a few odds and ends and a genie forklift blocking a shelf of random merchandise. The guy behind the counter seemed completely checked out. I walked out in under a minute and purchased from another store. Maybe this is a great online business that should just drop the pretense of having a retail store.

Ordered what was supposed to be a complete lighting package but after receiving all there separate delayed and damaged items I call customer service to ask where the bulb to the light is and get a runaround like I knew it was missing. Maybe in a month when they receive their knowingly damaged items they sent me I will hopefully get my money back.. wouldnt recommend this company ever

Really wish I had only bought from Growers House the first time and left it at that, then I would have been able to leave a five star review for a relatively smooth transaction. I placed two additional orders from them and each time the level of customer service had gotten worse. Regarding their order processing/packaging speed, I had gotten my first order sent out a couple days after it was placed but the second order took double the amount of time for literally a bucket and a couple lids. I ended up waiting for basically two business weeks for the third order I placed. The worst part about the last one wasnt how long it took to get a shipping confirmation, (still waiting for it to be delivered by the way) it was the sheer lack of communication and the fact that I had to call and email them to get a response that in and of itself was also delayed up until the beginning of this week. They had everything I needed including the most important items ready to go, but they were out of stock on a couple cheap PVC bulkheads that you can get at Home Depot, Lowes etc. By the way, their website stated these items were in stock or I would not have ordered them. Rather than communicate this with me so that I could cancel the one item and they could ship out my order ASAP, they decided to not say anything until I made the decision to contact them. The order in question also consisted of items that were time sensitive and I figured giving them over a week in advance to avoid delay issues would be enough and Im not saying they did it to not lose the extra dollar. Its simply that they lack the foresight to communicate potential issues and dont think about the time constraints of the consumer. The only reason Id order from them again is because they beat out a lot of others in pricing but I 100% would have taken my business elsewhere for time sensitive items and now I know to give Growers House AMPLE time to process orders (like three weeks to a month) before I need anything from them again.

I really enjoy their store, I really hope I get to visit them in person someday. If they are as good as they are online, I know Ill have an amazing experience! They always get back to you in a reasonable amount of time no matter if you contact them by email or phone. They were highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great prices on awesome products.

Purchased a eye blue bulb. it was a defective bulb. I returned and they sent me the same bulb. I returned it and never got my replacement. the woman was rude and told me I had to purchase one of their ballasts. would not recommend to a friend. lots of hydro stores to shop from. I purchased one from another supplier. it works great.

Terrible customer service, I ordered online for store pick up 04/18/2020 set up a retail appointment to pick up my order and when I went to pick the order up was Informed that some items on my order were on back order (after I had already paid for said items and online store did not reflect that items were out of stock) anyways no big deal except for the fact that it is 06/05/2020 and I have not received an email or phone call or any communication regarding my incomplete PAID for order. Growers house is GOOD. Ive always had fast shipping and professional customer service from staff like Morgan. Although my order took a bit to arrive, shipping delays in MY order were caused by carrier not growershouse so I cant knock them for that. As a customer I am happy with lower pricing compared to other online hydro retailers. And I cant compliment staff enough for keeping me updated on the delays in order. Wish I wouldve read reviews before I spent almost a grand with them. Didnt receive the carbon filter or in line fan with my kit. Ive called numerous times (voicemail wasnt full today, lets see if they choose to be on the good side of humanity) and even emailed them, but am still waiting for a response back. I feel like the employees are keeping pieces out to make their own personal kits. I will never reccomend or purchase from these people again.

I bought sensitive plants but forgot to ask how to care fir them but i was very pleased to find these mimosa tiny trees to me. I havent been to the brick and mortar store but I can attest to how nice and kind the people are that work here and run the site. I was price checking a few things I needed and I came across growershouse website through Google shopping. I wanted to see if they had any active coupon codes so I shot over an email to the generic email on there contact us. This was on a sunday afternoon so I figured they would get back to me monday but low and behold the dang CEO (Nate) got back to me within minutes with an active code and some sound gardening advice! I couldnt believe it! Customer service is something I cherish nowadays and let me tell you they are top notch! Not a good idea to push away longtime customers from your original store on Valencia Ive been shopping there. Show up at 430 and they sent me away because staff left because no appointments scheduled so they left even though store hours say 5. It wouldve taken them longer to ring me up than me grab my stuff and leave. Very sad they are using this covid as an excuse to not serve the customers that help pay the Bill but i guess we will see if they loose all their clients doing stupid things like tell a long time customer we cant sell you anything during business hours.

Stay away. Let me first say I wanted to like these guys. Good products and nice guys. I placed an order and was told it was shipped and would arrive as scheduled. I followed up 2 days later was given a bogus tracking number. Called the following Monday and was told the order hasnt shipped (6 days later). No receipt, no invoice, no tracking number and supposed bad communication (excuse). I canceled the order. I had to follow up several time to get a partial refund and I am now filing a claim with my credit card company. I would not do business with them ever again. Shop local!

Good prices which is about all I can say good unfortunately. Sent me 3/4” tube instead of 1” which is fine I get it mistakes happen. Called and let them know and they said send a pic to troubleshoot. Again no problem sent the pic and they said ok no prob we will reship. Got it in a week later and it’s THE SAME THING. Called back in and Skyler told me he personally went back there and tried it before he shipped it which i found out had to have been complete bs. I wasn’t even mad, I thought I was just doing something wrong, until I ordered some different 1” tubing from another dealer and i compared the two and noticed the size difference and how much easier it fit the bulkhead. The lying and incompetence is what did it for me. Won’t be back. All over some stupid vinyl tubing. Unreal

My initial reaction to Growers House was one of resentment due to the fact that it took me 45 minutes and 6 incorrect turns to even find the place, however once I was able to see the selection of products and experience the knowledgeable, friendly nature of the staff (specifically Oz) my opinion was completely changed. I went in looking for soil and left with not only a new inspiration for controlled environmental horticulture but also with a new brand of grow medium that has worked incredibly well in the weeks since my visit. I would highly suggest this store to any plant lover wanting friendly service (actual staff working with you to solve problems or answer questions), knowledgeable staff, decent prices, and doesnt mind finding their hole in the wall location.

I cant put into words how awesome these guys are! Close to, if not THE best customer service Ive ever experienced from any company! Not only did they treat me with the utmost respect, they offered extremely knowledgeable advice and never once tried to sell me something I didnt need.In fact, he told me that I didnt need two things that I thought I did. On top of all of those things was the price. Ive been scouring the web for weeks looking at grow supplies and these guys knocked it outta the park! Incredible store. Helpful employees, specifically Austin. Ive gone from an ultra-novice to a proficent gardener with a huge amount of help from these guys. More than once Ive been recommended the wrong products and had GH go out of their way to rectify it. Because it is a national distributor based in Tucson, you get huge discounts. For example, a $17 bag of soil here was $29 at a local garden center. Any item that is not in stock in store normally takes 1 business day to arrive. These employees are far more knowledgeable than anyone else in town, best prices, best customer service.

Wanted to get into hydroponics for fun after touring Biosphere 2. Stopped by here to take a look. I initially wanted to make a very basic system but the details were overwhelming (growth media, etc). They were extremely helpful since I was clueless and took the time to explain things to me. Got me set up with basic items to experiment. I really appreciated that they didnt try to upsell a newbie... just what I needed. Ill come back for sure.

I have not been to growers house since they moved from the Valencia location getting back into hydroponics so I thought I would hit them up at the new location because I hate buying stuff online I like to see what Im buying hold it in my hands touch it read the package be able to ask questions about the product but I was quite disappointed not much on the sales floor no displays nothing growing it really made me sad bigger store I would have thought it would display everything that they have to offer so I went to a aquaponics store by the freeway they were close so I went to Lowes and spent my money
