Customer service! Had the parts I couldnt find elsewhere. Even got tools to upgrade some of my stuff. Very helpful great small business. I ended by looking for things to buy to support a physical store with knowledge and wisdom to gleen from. I will be back!

Dont expect polished sales people at this establishment. Radio Shack had those but they didnt know very much about electronics and now theyre out of business. These guys are nerds just like me and we get on just fine. They have lots of great stuff and their current location is easy to find: right off the West Valley Highway in Tukwila. If you get there and the door is locked during bushiness hours its probably because there is only one person minding the store and he/she is taking a bathroom break so wait a few minutes before driving off.

Ive been going to Alphatronics for years. I started in 98 when I was still in tech school working for an Avionics repair facility. They were off of W. Vally Hwy back then. Also have gone to them with other companies I have worked with. They are a great resource for those of you that need circuit board components. Its nothing fancy mind you definitely a bare bones type environment but they are great for those of us that are into electronic design and engineering.

I went in here a year ago to check out prices on some Paladin tools, and the guy at the counter was quite rude. However, I went back a couple times this week to buy some voltage regulators and ICs and the two guys there were very helpful, and the prices for what I needed were very good. In fact, I was looking for a couple fast switching diodes, and the gentleman went back to an excess part bin, found a couple, and gave them to me for no charge. Thank you!

Doesnt keep a good inventory of whats on stock. I asked for p-channel mosfets, the guy outright refused to help me unless I provided the exact model number of what I wanted. When I brought back a few options, said he didnt carry any. If you dont come in with exactly the right information he expects, dont expect to get what youre looking for. If you need something and cant wait for shipping, try Frys. They have an alright selection of components on hand.

Arrived early, they had what I needed. Two capacitors to fix a failed fridge, micro controller board. $3.00 for the parts, 15 bucks in tech magazines. 1/2 hr to get my fridge back up and running. First time here and its good to see parts, (period, at all), in this diminishing market, but necessary for sustainability of manufacturing and repair, for micro circuitry. Savings 300.00 bucks in meat, 300 bucks for a replacement micro controller board. So around 600.00 bucks total savings, for the answer to the real problem, two failed $1.50 capacitors.I support most things electronics related. (So Booyah Alphatronics, good job!)My suggestion to you though, is a better list of parts, also you could stock Ham Radios, and have a monopoly in the State of Washington. Since Icom headquarters in Bellevue doesnt even sell radios or antennas. It would nice to see and better than that peice of junk, used printer, for sale on your shelf. Why would you buy used when a new printer is less than the ink. Just a thought...

I am in the final stages of developing a Electric Cylinder control system. Our EE supplier was not able to finish due to a personal emergency. With a deadline nearing, I would try building it myself based on the prototype from our supplier. Upon arrival, Mark took a look at my control system and admitted he was not sure if he could help on programming? But together, we opened the prototype up and he looked up the parts. i left with a BT 4.0 board and a Arduino Programmable Controller on a Saturday at 1:00! All parts were in stock with no issues! Great job supporting our project. We will return and i recommend Alphatronics!
