We recently purchased a vehicle for a family member from Don Carlton. Because of that positive experience, I transferred my vehicles maintenance service to this location. On Friday, I brought my car in for the first time and was greeted and checked in efficiently. I received a call about 1 hour later from a very cheerful gentleman that my car was ready. I quickly paid for the service, got my keys and jumped into my car. In comparison to other Honda service providers in the area, I was both surprised and pleased with the excellent service! We had such an amazing experience with our Don Carlton team when we purchased a new vehicle from them on 9/9/21! Everyone on the staff is amazing but a couple of people that stood out to us were Jason Cowan and Omar who was our salesperson- These two gave our family incredible service and made our car buying experience one to remember in a positive way! I was so impressed with Don Carlton Honda today! I got my oil changed at a Firestone over the weekend, and then my engine began making a strange noise and started smelling bad. I took it to the express service at Honda, where they quickly figured out that Firestone didn’t put my oil cap back on. They found the cap, cleaned the engine and washed my car, all in about 20 minutes! Shoutout to Steven for being so kind and helpful!

Like the Vehicle I purchased from them, and my salesman was likeable enough.However Don Carltons overall lack of effort and professionalism is sad. Especially when you consider how hard nosed they are negotiating on price.1. Their finance person straight up lied.As soon as he realized I wasnt gonna buy an Extended Warranty, He promptly made up a BS excuse not to fill out the paperwork with the Credit Union draft system. Basically it wasnt worth his effort if he wasnt getting the $$ from signing me with a different lender or getting a warranty.2. The unit hadnt been through its check, this took them 4 days to complete.3. They were supposed to deliver the vehicle when ready, and of course they were to short handed to make good on this promise.4. When I came to pick up my vehicle, it was setting on empty. The Salesman went and filled it up.None of this is the end of the world, and it isnt just them. These are the same kind of things Im hearing from other people too. The car sales industry is in a sad state of affairs.I will not do buisness with Don Carlton again, and Ill encourage anyone shopping not to waste their time with them.

Bought my new 2020 Honda Civic fromThe dealership in Muskogee (very happy with my choice) I called this location awhile back to ask if I would be able to bring in my car for a free oil change (which came with my car) and they told me no and that they don’t do that at their location and that it would be 75 for my car. I ended up taking it to Muskogee where they happily changed it for me for free. I live in BA so it’s kinda out the way to have to do that so I asked the Muskogee dealership if that was correct and they told me no and that my oil change will be 35 after the free ones.Well this time around I called again since it’s been awhile and they said no and that they don’t even offer their customers free oil changes and it’s first come first serve on oil change. I asked them if they were a 3rd party they said no. To me they seem sketchy I had to fight them to even get them to tell me how much an oil change for my car would be and he acted like he didn’t know?? Made me uncomfortable to even work on my car.Like they wanted me to come in and get my oil change first and then be charged $75?My time is limited and that just wasn’t an option for me. Just wanted to give a heads up to other people.Take your business somewhere else!South point of Honda happily helped me, scheduled me an app and said I was able to get my service for free. Don’t waste your time here. Customer service says a lot and it’s just not at this location.

Terrible experience trying to lease a 2021 Accord. I am currently a third year accounting student working towards my BS. I am fully capable of doing basic math to calculate a lease payment. After calculating the lease on the Accord with the numbers they provided, their monthly payment was well off my figure. When I asked politely for them to explain or show me why, they refused and said that is their price to lease that vehicle. Refusing to explain the costs of the product I am trying to lease leads me to assume they are folding in fees unrelated to a standard lease. I would not recommend this dealership; the way they reacted to an informed customer who was only trying to verify exactly what they were being charged for is very shady.

Ok, well I expected I would have to order one but I’d like to sit in one at least and was told all of the keys are in service, sorry. Loved our experience with Scott Henderson at Don Carlton Honda. We had been to 4 other dealerships in two weeks. They had the car for us. We had the pre approval with Capital One Auto Navigator and were in and out in 2 hours. Scott was a no bull kinda guy. He wanted to sell us a car but only if it was the car we needed and wanted. Honest good people. The only negative detail to our whole experience was, we wish we received two keys with the car instead of one. Don’t waste your time looking elsewhere. They have the used car you need and want.

I recently signed a lease for a 2022 Honda Civic EX at Don Carlton Honda. As much as most people hate going to car dealerships, the folks at Don Carlton Honda were a pleasure to deal with.First, Sami is a no-nonsense, straightforward guy who is also warm and pleasant. At my initial visit, he reviewed the various options that were available. After going to other dealerships (e.g., Acura, Volkswagen), I decided to return to Honda. The leasing offer I received from Sami put all others to shame.Second, Ryan and Ed were both incredibly efficient to work with. I felt I wasted no time while discussing options further and learning more about the all-new Civic EX. Danny in financing was also a delight.Third, my car arrived ahead of schedule and was in absolutely perfect condition. I have a 2016 Honda Pilot. Had multiple recalls. I took the car in for service so we could figure out what was wrong. After paying that fee, they told me I needed to change fuel injectors. Around 500 dollars later still no fix. Then finally they fixed the recalls when brought in a 3rd time. I went to pick up and the 10 mins down the road engine light comes on. Back again 4th time. They tell me gas cap. Done still engine light. Back again 5th tim, Catalytic converter. After this what is next. They have no idea what they are doing. They should get negative stars!!!! Just an update. I went in to pick up my car and the service didn’t say two words. No paperwork to tell me what’s wrong or anything. Parked my car with keys in it and that was it. Terrible customer service

After that I went for a simple oil change and they still managed to screw something up. Called them about getting body work done, they scheduled us an appointment to look at our car. We showed up, moved our schedule to meet theirs, and they immediately said they didn’t have a body shop, though on the phone they said they could take care of the damage. They referred me to another body shop, said they were Honda certified, but per Honda’s website they aren’t. Avoid at all costs, they mark their Type R’s sky high anyways and none of the Rogers dealers do that and they’ll ship you the car.

So my wife and I had a great experience with buying a car from Eddie, but when it comes to the referral program it just boils down to a load of lies. We were told that we qualified for a referral because friends of ours bought a car from Don Carlton. When we followed up with the dealer I heard from Sami Khalaf’s mouth that a check would be mailed on Thursday, but it never showed up. Trust me when I say that I will never buy a car from this dealer, nor will I help you sell a car. I quit with follow ups because it is just a waste of time, and Eddie no longer works for them.Update 4/23/2021: We did get money for the referral, but it was only a 1/3 of what we were told it would be. I give up.....waste of time. I will say the parts department have been outstanding. So, I have adjusted my rating to 3 stars (I could not do 2.5) from the previous rating of 1. I will continue to use their parts department, but unsure if I will use service again and will go elsewhere to purchase our next new Honda.

These people are crooks. I took my car in to fix an electrical issue. They told me my battery tested bad and the battery cant be charged. I went to autozone to test it and they said it was good and they fully charged it. I took it back to the dealership so they can find the true problem. I am then told my starter was bad and it wouldnt start my car. The mechanic told me it was fine to pick up after a few hours. I go pick it up to find out they didnt fix my electrical problem. Afterwards I get my starter tested and all the tests came back good. So in the end, they sold me a starter that I didnt need and didnt fix my original problem. I asked if I can get a refund for the starter and I was told they dont refund electrical parts.

I went to Don Carlton Honda twice in the last month. The first time was to replace my air bag because it was recalled. The service took about an hour and a half which I think is particularly quick. The second time I went was for a free car wash, because during my first visit they gave me a coupon for the wash. Their service was insanely fast and my car looked fantastic after. UPDATE: I received a phone call following my review from Kristi Cates who arranged to have my vehicle repaired and a vehicle to drive while it was in the shop for the day. Very glad to see this issue resolved and improve my experience with this location.Original Review: I received damage to my passenger seat by the technician when they removed the cabin air filter. I was promised a call the following Monday by Kristi Cates. I did not receive a call and have subsequently called and left 4 voicemails over the past 2 weeks with no response. I am hoping things can be made right as the website claims “superior customer service” has yet to be seen.

Terrible service department! My mom dropped her car off for an oil change and air bag recall. When she picked her car up the passenger front end was scraped and tore up. There was blue paint on the mirror and the plastic under the passenger front end is busted. My family is already going to a tough time with grief, and my mom is completely overwhelmed. She left and went home because she was already exhausted. No one bothered to speak up,which speaks volumes about the integrity of this place and employees.

I love my new Honda Civic Sport 2020 we bought from Allen. I actually got a Mazda CX-5 and they were very kind at their dealership too, but it was not the right fit for me. I am very happy with my decision and I actually am glad he told me about the sport and Apple play. I needed something very simple to drive and easy but updated and this is exactly what I needed. I purchased a 2020 Accord EX-L where I first met Sam in sales. Super friendly and answered each and everyone of my many questions including my trade. Sam then put me in contact with Sid in financing and I have to say with the many vehicles I have purchased or been a part of he was nice, prompt and by far was the best financing person I have ever worked with. Bought my second Honda today from Sam Bedri at Don Carlton Honda and once again I walked away satisfied. I really believe I got a great deal on an awesome vehicle which is so important to me. I picked out my car on the internet and worked out the details with my dealer all before I stepped foot on the lot. I shopped around at other dealers too (which of course you should do) but it seemed like all they were interested in was getting me to schedule a test drive.When I decided to come in to look at the vehicle I was thinking about buying, I was driving home in my new Honda less than 2 hours later (and much of that time was me messing around with my new truck). It took longer to get my daughters hair dyed the other day!The finance officer was friendly and not overly pushy. Heck, everyone I talked to was friendly. But most paramount in my mind is that not once has this dealership tried any funny business with me; others have. Every document matched what we agreed to, pricing was clear, and there were no surprise last minute fees.I highly recommend these guys if you live anywhere within a days drive from Tulsa. My moms car was towed here, just to have the battery replaced, took over 3 days, then when we called, no one knew where the car was. They said it wasnt brought to them, even though AAA said thats where they took the car. It was a big mess, will not deal with this dealership ever again. Do not recommend.

Best place to by a Honda in Tulsa. Seller, Mr Russel, was very attentions, patience, he explained every single detail of each car we like and made no pressure for a closing. They were open to price negotiation, burocracia process a little bit longer but no problem. They also deliver the car and documentation for tag very quickly .

Don Carlton Honda have a good waiting room and very comfortable chairs also like the battery to charge your phones . They also took care of me they gave me a ride on the shuttle to work on time too! And after I got off of work gave me a ride to get my vehicle great service and great people.

If you need a new Honda Don Carlton Honda is the place to go. Ask for Alan. Alan helped me find and purchase a new car for my parents. They both absolutely love the new Civic Alan helped us purchase. Alan is patient, kind, and very knowledgable without being the stereotypical sexist pushy car salesman. Even the finance manger was a dream to work with. Thanks Alan and Don Carlton for making a tough situation easy. Ive never had a bad experience at any Honda dealership Ive purchased a car from over the years, but my experience at Don Carlton was by far the best. Thanks so much!

Went in for a repair on my Honda Civic and while they originally quoted me that it would take most of the day when I entered they told me to take an hour and a half to two and it ended up only taking about 45 minutes they were quick and efficient and well worth it I can only imagine if their service area is this good that purchasing a vehicle from them will be just as wonderful an experience

Best experience, quick and transparent process along with an amazing price for being a loyal Honda customer already. Honda truly takes care of their own and this dealership is no different, they are so genuine and proactive in making sure that my family is getting whats best for our family and working with us to make sure its affordable. I ended up purchasing a new CRV but before I did that, I reviewed some of their used cars on their pre-owned lot. I am impressed with the level of detail they have given to selecting and vetting used cars to make sure they are offering quality options. I cant say I have seen that anywhere else before. I bought from Allen, I highly recommend him.

I struggle with this review as sales went smooth, Honda service is another story, its definitely not on par with what I have come to expect from previously being a Toyota owner.I got a certified used car with less than 20k miles, the window motor was out and it popped up needing an oil change within the second week of owning. So a certified car was within 500 miles of needing service and I paid extra for certified. Then when we go to get the window fixed and oil changed with a set appointment they couldnt do it and said it was a four hour wait, so we rescheduled. Went in again and same thing. Rescheduled again with a car 800 miles over for an oil change and no working window, this time pretty much the same thing but they offered a loaner car for $30 on something that should have been fixed before I even spent $37k on a car.They did fix it but while fixing it the power door doesnt work now, I will have this fixed and then pay another $30 for a loaner car, then I will never go back to a Don Carlton dealership.
