20 years with Dr. BAXTER and I will never change eye doctors. He is awesome. His new office is pure luxury and staff are attentive and caring. They dont pressure you to buy the most expensive rims. They listen to you and respect your budget and work hard to make sure you get the glasses you want.

As a patient of Dr. Moore for roughly the last 20 years, I feared it would be very difficult to trust anyone else with my eyes. Yesterday, 11/2/2021, my fears were put to rest at my first visit to the Vision Health offices in Tumwater. First, the look of the office is stunning - a very pleasant place to be. Second, formerly Dr. Moore’s [absolutely wonderful] optometric assistant, Sue, greeted me and I SO was delighted to see her as I’ve also trusted her expert care for so many years! Third, the technology at the office is incredible. Fourth, Dr. German is fantastic! I had specific questions that were answered with kindness, competence and clarity. Great care for my eyeballs continues at Vision Health!

He also has all the latest equipment on hand to diagnose any issues you might be having with your vision. His team is well trained and treat you very respectfully. Great experience! The staff here is kind and helpful, and the building is a gorgeous and calming space. I had never been seen here before, but they were able to get me a nearly immediate appointment on very short notice for an eye irritation. Dr. German was very helpful and attentive to my situation. Even though the appointment unfortunately lasted past closing time, not once did I feel rushed. Instead the care I received was thorough and helpful. Ill be going here from now on, and cant give the team here enough stars!

The whole staff was so nice and let my 15 month roam around while his dilated drops were working. The front desk amazing and super friendly. Every worker got down to my sons level to say hi and that right there was amazing. The doctor told me everything he was doing and why he was doing it since my son doesn’t talk yet. I learn a lot. There are probably less expensive places to buy frames but here they are of excellent quality and very durable. I’ve never been disappointed.

Dr. Holmes and his staff were professional and welcoming. My eye examination was thorough and I was given ample time to ask questions. I never felt rushed by the staff. I would recommend their office to any of my friends or family.

My experience as a new patient didn’t go very well. After almost two hours there for my yearly check up, I walked out frustrated and angry, I just wasted my one year visit here. The contact fitting fee was not explained by my doctor, I could hear the tech and doctor discussing my file in the hallway and the full conversation in the next room with another patient. When I finally met my doctor he was rushed, didn’t show an interest in what I was asking for and didn’t give me different options. The doctor didn’t even have the courtesy to say goodbye. I will just have to drive up to Tacoma to talk with my optometrist that does take the time to see me.

I so love Vision Health and Dr. Baxter. I have been seeing him for years! He currently doesn’t take our insurance, but I still refuse to leave! Totally worth paying cash rate for his undivided attention. Thank you Dr. Baxter for all your years of service. It’s priceless 🥰

My first visit and I was impressed. The facility is beautiful. The staff and doctor were all super friendly! The special ordered me a trial pair of a new kind of contact just in the market that will hopefully allow me to wear contacts again after several years without. They also have a huge selection of glasses to choose from. Way more than Costco or any other optometrist I have ever been to. The were quick and very efficient moving me from one person to the next to complete my visit in a timely manner. I would highly recommended this office if looking for a new optometrist.

Vision Health was an absolute excellent visit..The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by the two wonderful receptionists in turn made me feel at ease and like they ACTUALLY WANTED ME THERE…The atmosphere was calming with updated wonderful decor! and absolutely EVERYONE made me feel comfortable.The eye dr was top notch and explained EVERYTHING as did his assistant. It was wonderful. My old eye clinic was never very fast. If I wanted to make an appointment it was usually a couple months out, but when I made my appointment here, it was made for two days later. They are very neat and organized and had a ton of options for frames!!! Love it. My glasses also came in early.

This place is the bestest.I call them at 8:05am too book an urgent appointment. I was asked if I can get there at 8:25am of which I managed.The lady on the phone was full of empathy.When I arrived there the receptionist gave me a very warm welcome and within a minute the nurse came for me.The doctor followed us and my eye was examined.I spent a maximum of 15min.Everyone knew what to do.I give them 5***** and an A+.I NEED NO THER EYE DRS.LIVE LONG VISIO HEALTH Tumwater!!!!

Everyone was very friendly and kind. My initial wait was about 10 to 15 minutes after check in, but after that the standard eye check up was very quick. The staff were very informative and were able to answer all my questions. I will be returning for all my eyewear needs in the future!

Recently I decided to venture back into contact lenses. It’s been a challenge because of my prescription. Emily greeted me warmly, as always, and Tristan listened to my concerns, answered my questions and put me at ease with friendly conversation as he set me up in the exam room. Dr Woolsey also listened closely and answered my questions with friendly professionalism. He dialed in on a contact lens prescription that is working great for me. This was my first time getting glasses from here. Initial visit was great. They fixed my eye glass prescription and I found a few frames. Left that day happy. Then there was a situation with my 2 pairs of glasses and I was going to have to wait 2 more months......on top of the month I’ve already waited.Well long story long, they set me up with a loner pair of glasses to use until mine come in. So thankful they did this without my asking. I would highly recommend going here. They even take state insurance. Very amazing staff.
