This place has some seriously creamy and delicious ice cream. We were visiting from out of the area and a relative who lives in Turlock recommended we give it a try. My family usually goes for the Thrifty ice cream counter at one of the Rite Aids in town for the ever-so-delicious chocolate malted crunch, but we were up to try something new. Im glad we did because Oak Barrel was next level ice cream. I had their own version of a malted chocolate which was good. I also had the chocolate peanut butter chunk, which was amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are visiting the area.

Small ice cream shop. A few tables for sitting outside. Wish they had later hours. Usually closed by 9:00. Ice cream is really good, tho.

Cute ice cream🍦shop, that is kinda hidden in this shopping center. Employees are very nice, 😃 friendly & were able to describe their products well. There are lots of ice cream 🍦 flavors choices, I would guess 30 flavors. They have gluten free, dairy free, (sorbet) & it is posted if a flavor has nuts. The flavors of ice cream & dairy free sorbet that Ive had were delicious 😋! Ice cream 🍦 is available by the scoop, pint or quart. I cant recall the exact prices, three scoops is about $6, a pint is, I think, $7 and some change, a quart is $11 plus. Expensive if you are comparing it to buying ice cream at the grocery store, but this is fresh, locally made, in small batches.

My familys favorite ice cream shop hands down!! It is a thirty minute drive and worth every minute. The flavors are incredible and the ice cream is so smooth and creamy. You can taste the love that goes into making each batch. Friendly employees as well.

I first came here because CSU Stan hosted a warriors explore downtown event. In which we were given a $5 voucher for any local store. My store of choice was Oak Barrel. The ice cream is absolutely amazing. I have continued to keep going back for more. My personal favorites are the coffee and horchata flavors. They also sell other cold desserts.

Excellent ice cream! Great customer service. Allows sampling. I tried the horchata, Meyer lemon, peach, and blackberry balsamic. I ended up getting peach and horchata. Cant wait to go back!

The icecream is really really good. Its a small shop. The owner was making icecream in the back. My problem is that they are located next to a nail salon and the fumes from the shop filled the tiny shop. It smelled bad. I also ordered a coffee. It was a k cup type when I received my cup I looked in and I noticed coffee grounds flouting on top. If I could make a suggestion it would be 1. Relocate. Anywhere away from that nail salon. 2. Get a real coffee maker. A drip one or press coffee or even an espresso machine or something but ditch the k cup.
