Were visiting the area for a week and this was our go to place for groceries. Really clean store. Premade food was really good when we were in a pinch. Had everything we needed during our visit.

This store is always stocked and well kept.Ive seen the G.M. around the store and he always makes eye contact with me and nods his head, as hes ready to be receptive to questions and concerns. Thats customer service within itself. This is hard to find nowadays.He obviously runs a tight ship.Thank you sir!The gals at the registers are also the best.

Employees here are extremely friendly and the store is kept impeccably clean. Im not really sure what those lengthy low-star reviews on here are talking about, as Ive been coming here for a few years with my family now and have never experienced any of the issues theyve listed.If you happen to stop in here, pick up some Hannaford-brand chocolate chunk cookies! Theyll get stale after a week or so, but for those first 2-3 days after you bring them home theyll taste like heaven.

Winthrop Hannaford is the best. Clean store friendly people and really good staff. One of my favorite places to shop.

I SO enjoy visiting your store! I live about a mile from Shaw’s Auburn, & will go there when I just need a couple of incidentals or to grab a deal. However, like today, I had a dozen or more items to get & drove to Turner to get them. (The Spring St. store is closer, but you encounter numerous traffic lights)Anyway, all of the staff there are SO friendly & make you feel so welcome! My cashier & bagger actually said “thank you!” So often I say thank you out of courtesy & the reply is “no problem” which I hate! Your self checkouts are more user friendly than Shaw’s as well! I love the automated “see you soon” vs. “please remove all of your groceries” (paraphrasing) @ Shaw’s.I could go on, but you get the idea!We have a friend that lives about 2 miles south of us & she will essentially drive right past Shaw’s to go your store.Keep up the good work & See You Soon! 😁Kerry GouldAuburn

I enjoy shopping at Hannaford for my groceries.The place is always clean. Disinfectant visible being utilized. The food is always fresh. Good variety of products. The employees seem happy to work there. I find the cashiers very plesant and willing to assist customers. I have witnessed numerous cashiers continue to be polite and professional even though a customer rudely interrupted. I would recommend Hannaford Supermarket to my friends and family. A great place to do your grocery shopping.

The place is close to my house and that’s pretty much the best thing it’s got going for it. I went in today looking for a blueberry cake with lemon frosting not a very unusual request, to my dismay I could not even find a container of lemon frosting anywhere in the store and had to end up buying a six dollar bottle of lemon flavoring to put in some vanilla frosting to frost a blueberry cake. How about a little variety eh?

Good meat selection for small place. Always clean. Always well organized.

The store is the absolute worst. Because I medically cannot wear a mask, they make me have to order my food for curbside pick up. If I order vegetables, they are close to being rotten. If I don’t eat it within a day, I’m throwing it away. When I order bread, the expiration date is within a day. Just the other day, we received expired and soured milk. In order to go in and get my money back I have to wear a mask. When I complain to corporate, they never call me back. Their pharmacy is atrocious. For numerous reasons. I removed my medication from there months ago. I have always spent thousands of dollars at that store every year. Not any longer. I hope others see what they are doing and no longer go to this business or Hannaford at all! I’m sure I’m not the only one that has these issues.

Hannaford is one place that does not change things around on you. If you are in a bit of a hurry you can go directly to what you need. I have never been stuck in line at checkout for any length of time and the workers are friendly. My preferred place to shop.

Strangest Hannaford Ive ever been to. The carts are on the other side of the building from where you enter (due to covid) which makes a bunch of people backtrack. Multiple people got masks at the door but dont actually bother to wear them inside. Was never offered my choice of paper or plastic so I immediately stated I wanted paper, and then half my groceries ended up in plastic. Not even the ones you would expect. My bread was in plastic while meat dairy and freezer items were in paper.

I had a 5 start review on here. I loved this store. Due to covid I started doing to go here. I liked going into the store but just cant keep wearing masks all day. 3 times I did to go. Each time I was over charged. I never had this happen at other locations. Now youre not able to use coupons for to go. I cant understand anything the women says on the phone, I dont get receipts so I have to go by the app price when I dispute the over charge. But last week was the last straw. I ordered a package of hamburger. It should have been for 2 meals. I brought it home and it was brown, expired and re stickered. I put it in the fridge so I could bring it back for a refund. But it stunk so bad I had to throw it away. 2 meals my family didnt get, wasted 5.00 and since Im not paying 10 for a pound of meat I cant to go for that. Im not really able to wear masks so I cant just run in. I wont be going back here. So where do I order to go? Turner has rotten food and Auburn always forgets stuff. Maybe I can drive all the way to Brunswick.

Produce dept. Isnt fresh prices are sky high

Use to be where I shopped all the time and I use to be a cashier there about 15 years ago. But about 3 years ago it started going down hill. Theres no choices, you pretty much can only buy their brands, no customer services, unorganized, bag your bloody meats with produce etc. I now go to shaws to do my grocery shopping.

Disappointed that Hannaford is not enforcing the mask recommendations put forth by the state. Petco was handing out masks to those who didn’t have them. Not feeling safe as many people were without masks and not social distancing. Apparently better signage is needed for one direction shopping as well.

Fresh produce. Great deli selections. Clean and friendly staff. No long checkout lines. Parking is a little tight but for the area it is sufficient. We get most of our groceries from this store. It is one of the newer Hannaford supermarkets than the others that were converted from the old Shop N Save stores and it is much cleaner than the others.

This store is so nice and so are the employees! Today was my first time using the pharmacy and they went out of their way to help me with my prescription. Its so wonderful to have a store that still values customer service. 5 stars!!!

Love this store...I stop most mornings on my way to work. Usually Pam is the cashier, she is pleasant - always, and has told me about great deals in the store and suggests recipes.A special thanks to the produce manager for cutting my hard to cut squash, in half for me earlier this week. Supper was a breeze after work...thanks to him!

I was so happy when they first opened in my area until they discontinued a lot of the Vegan items that I use to buy. So disappointing because I live so close and go there often. Now I have to travel far again to get some of the things I need. I really hope they stop switching things up so much.

Everything you need and then some, Im from California I know what good fresh fruit looks like and 95 percent of the time thats Hannaford.

Typical grocery store. I believe same owner of Stop and Shop. It’s typical. Get what’s on sale and maybe it’ll be a good price but never buy stuff that isn’t on sale. Regular prices can be pretty expensive. However the store is very clean and easy to navigate.

I have worked at this Turner location 1-2 years back as a cashier. Let me just say, I hope management is able to read this, amd hopefully reach out to see what i can do about this, because the way I was treated here as a former employee and as a coworker here was absolutely abhorrent and should not be ignored.Excellent customer service? Sure. Treating customers with respect? Yes I agree. However working here as an employee, the cashiers I worked with just treated me like complete dirt, and I know I wasnt the only one.The cashiers were so cliquey. The shift leaders especially, all adult women at the time, all they did was gossip and talk about drama with each other. If they didnt like you they tried to make you miserable and gossip about you until you quit, like in my case. I got sick of the immaturity. I did leave.One woman, who was the manager of the Front End Cashiers, treated her associates horribly. This woman was near 40 years old, and BULLIED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS who worked here! As well as college students, like myself. If I had a high school kid working here and being treated like that, I would go in there and give that woman a tough piece of my mind. Like, grow up and bully someone your age, maam, not someone 30 years younger than you. How about not bully at all? Not to mention she throws cigarette cartons and plastic bags at her employees because she thinks its funny, when Im surprised she never grew out of that.This very same lady also had me stay in the customer service box for an 8 hour straight shift. Please let me reiterate: EIGHT. HOURS. Of standing in one spot, being a cashier, not allowed to move or leave the area. That is inhumane to treat a person like that. She also made sure I was the first person she called to have me cover for a coworker she favored, or herself. She frequently brought associates aside just to yell at them and nitpick everything they did wrong, including me. One of my co-workers even said she had to clock out super late because she was getting yelled at. I call that poor management.I had also went through a rough time in my life where I was battling depression for a LONG time. The job environmemt didnt help, and though it was hard I still tried to go to work and battle through it all while holding down a job. Another woman, who was a shift leader here, she constantly spoke badly of me, always complaining you should just leave!, and even threw plastic bags at me while pretending to cry, as a mockery of me and my current state of major depression. She had some grudge against me and Ill never understand why. Im just appalled that someone, who has challenges they face in their own personal life, would have zero empathy at all like that.I dont get how those people just have no empathy like that. I dont get how they could just bully each other, and call me these terrible names such as crazy and mentally insane like, lmao you cant be serious right now? Is this a joke?? A little white girl like me is crazy? Im still wondering what the heck I even did to be bullied like this and called such horrible names.A company that represents itself with friendliness and respect should have their workers feel the same way. I cannot believe how much verbal bullying, name calling, and exclusion I had to deal with here. I feel the Hannaford store really needs to do something about this bullying problem in their work culture. Because until then, I would never work here again, let alone ever shop here again, and I recommend others to just find employment somewhere else, plenty of other jobs out there that arent anywhere near like this. I just wish I had an apology at least, but I never even got one.
