After finding Classy Threads as a retailer for the designer and line that I needed for a bridal party dress, I visited the store. I already had a dress, but I was going to purchase a second one. Instead of purchasing a second bridesmaid dress, I decided to alter the one I had after consulting with the staff. They were super friendly, helpful, and professional. I will be back if I have any formal wear needs.

My daughter needed a dress for homecoming and I ordered one online from a well known chain bridal store. On the day it was to arrive, I found out my order was canceled with no notification. We only had 2 days until the dance! Classy Threads was the 1st place I checked. Everyone was so helpful when we walked in the store. They pulled several dresses and began helping my daughter try them on. Within minutes she had found one but wanted it short instead of long. They said they could take care of that. They have a seamstress there that could help right away. We will definitely be using Classy Threads for all of our formal dresses!

After 11 days and 52 dresses I was to the point of giving up! I walked into this store and was greeted by to amazing women who did all they could to help me! In 15 minutes I found my dress! Their collection is beautiful! They were available to alter the dress that day and could have it to me in just hours! You ladies are awesome! Thank you!!!!

I went in last minute last weekend to find me a dress for my birthday because the dresses I ordered havent been delivered yet. Im so glad I did because Ms.Linda and Ashunti really helped me out BIG time. They were very sweet and patient and found me a beautiful blue sequin dress. DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU SUPPORT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIESI was in the hiring process and felt that everything was going smoothly. When I was asked to come in a few days after my interview to discuss things, which apparently was my disability. They basically wrote me off saying it was possible to work around and then after my trial day, never bothered to call. So I was discriminated in the hiring process against my physical disability, and worked 4 hours without pay!!!!!

The staff kept instructing my family, who came with me to pick out my dress, to go wait some where else. Im disappointed with the staffs attitude towards my family. I asked my family to be there to tell me their opinion, not to be given distasteful looks when they say they dont like something about the dress I tried on. Personally though they had alot of dressed but it wasnt worth my time. Even if I liked one of the dresses I wouldnt of given my business here. BUUUT if you want a great dress, for a great price, and with the best staff I 100% LOVE Beauty Mark. Beauty Mark is not far from this store and they took care of me!! If you go there for a dress ask for Kaythe!!

Great experience getting my prom dress here ! I found the perfect dress here however the best part of the experience was the staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. I am from the midwest and actually had no intention of getting a dress because i was on a trip visiting tuscaloosa but when walking around the mall i thought it wouldn’t hurt to stop in a look at the dresses and ended up trying one on, the staff was so helpful, i ended up finding the perfect dress and shoes. I was worried about the fact that i had to fly back home the next day and had no room to pack the dress but they let me know that i would be able to hang up the dress in first class, and gave me a really nice bag to travel with. I will 100% come back if i’m in tuscaloosa in the future. love the staff !!

Fraudulent. Period. Fraudulent. Denita and ruined my vow renewal. Still reeling from my mothers death and the April 27th tornado, both in 2011, my April 2012 vow renewal was an important event for my entire family. My dress never arrived, another dress was ordered as replacement. Wrong color, wrong fit, but too late to do anything. So late on the alterations that denita had to bring it to the venue and I got dressed there. If my focus was not on the sacredness of the occasion I would have been devastated.

I never write bad reviews or complain about places in general, but I’m beyond frustrated with this place. When I originally made an appointment with the seamstress to have some alteration to my wedding dress made, I showed up and she wasn’t there. It was 45 min past the time we scheduled and she was still No where to be found so someone working there pinned it for me and sent me on my way. It was kind of annoying but I just blew it off.I paid over the phone for the alterations and waited for my dress to be done. 3 weeks pass and I’ve heard nothing, so I call just to check on it. They tell me they haven’t even started on it because I haven’t paid. But I did. I checked my bank account and the transaction was there. And they’re telling me they can’t find it. Just hoping my dress will be done in time at this point. There making me bring by the bank statement to show where it came out.

I spent $500+ on a NEW dress and “Classy” Threads gave me the “NEW“ dress with giant chunks of missing sequins. I’m confused as to why the dress has giant chunks of sequins missing if it’s supposed to be brand new! Going to classy threads was the biggest mistake of my life! A HUGE waste of time and money. It’s the day before prom and they said they won’t be able to “look at it” until the day of prom.... Not a good experience. We traveled over an hour in drenching rain because of seemingly rave reviews yet was very disappointed. Granted we were greeted (as she sat in her chair behind the countered desk) when we walked in but that was it. There appeared to be 3 visible employees on staff assisting 2 separate customers. As other customers came in, they were also greeted but were not assisted and eventually left as did my daughter and I. After walking the mall we returned (one last chance). We entered, no greeting. Went straight to a gown we noticed previously and went to the counter with it. The young lady who greeted us (the first time) was assisting someone on the catwalk. . she looked at us and continued with them. I get it, you have a customer but you were literally just standing in their presence assisting. You never just leave other customers idling and if they walk out and return. . Redeem yourself. You lost a viable customer and sale yesterday. . as well as referrals!

My daughter and I traveled to several places looking for a Prom dress, Birmingham, Gadsden, to name a few. Drove from Mississippi, Found NO variety, and, no one on one help. Every place we stopped in was very impersonal. Dress garments were just thrown everywhere!When we found Classy Threads Bridal and Formal, I was so IMPRESSED! Very neat, and very organized! They had a Wonderful Variety of Prom Dresses to choose from! AWESOME! The personnel was warm and inviting! Super NICE! They took time with us helping us find the perfect dress, that complimented my daughter and our taste! They had beautiful shoes, to choose from, and showed us shoes that complimented the dress, as if they were made for it. They had awesome jewelry to choose from, and again, assisted us all throughout our shopping to help and suggest items to help match everything! It was the most pleasant and Fun shopping experience, to find the dress, the shoes, and jewelry all in one place! NO running around guessing what will match with what! Not Davids bridal quality but still cute dresses. There may be some loose threads on some but like i said, pretty dresses.

Me and my friend came in today and the staff was horrible! We walked in and no one cared to assist or greet us. After asking for help, we were ignored. We left for a few hours and then came back to give a second chance and the second time was a worse experience than the first! We were completely ignored and they didn’t have much of a selection at all. When we complained, they did not seem so care and still did not assist us. We won’t be back!!

Have shopped here more than once for occasion dresses. Staff is professional and wonderful. They always try to find what flatters me most. Couldnt ask for a better experience.
