I have gone to this shop for years and have always been happy with their service.... NOT ANY MORE! I took my vehicle in for an oil filter and oil change and they informed me that my tires were worn and needed to be replaced. They had put that set on. When they pulled the paperwork, we found out that it was 10,000 miles ago (on a minivan- not a high performance vehicle). Their explanation was that they didnt realize it was a modified van (for a wheelchair) and weighed more so bigger tires should have been used. Their mistake is my problem. They were willing to give me a discount of $250 on a new set, but of course advised me that I needed new struts, alignment, brake fluid now (in other words lets jack the price up to make up for their discount). Cant trust them on the tires, why would I trust them on the repairs? Find a new repair place!!

A while ago brought in my car for a repair when I needed it. Service was great, the person to I spoke communicated well. The price was fair for parts and labor.Called again for oil change, I was quoted $99 by a different staff. Wow. $99 for a simple oil change and not even any repairs. I guess this place doesnt really service your typical oil change, but they do specialize in repairs. I would suggest if oil change is what you need, do go elsewhere.

Found my new go to automotive place. I love my vehicles and I want my mechanic to treat them as such. The team here are awesome and they do a great job

I went there for oil change when there was no one in front or behind me. But the guy at the front desk said it would take 2 hours just for oil change without any explanation.But after w hours, I am still here again without any explanation or apology. & some people who came in after me left before me. This will be my last visit here. They at least should give an explanation why its delayed,but they didnt.

They gave me a laundry list of items needing repair (I expect this from all mechanics). However, one of the repairs was related to wear on tires and needing new struts.I am not an expert but upon my inspection I dont believe they were being honest. I dont see any cupped or scalloped dips on my tires.I will get a second opinion and this issue and modify this post accordingly but my trust is broken for now.Edit: I got a second opinion. I do not have any strut issues. Sadly, as advisers Ive lost faith in their recommendations. I get the need for sales and business but honestly etc should be of higher value to gain return customers.

Great and honest service. Had a friend get a flat tire and was near by this location. She was helped by Michael and he identified, that her tire light came on because the tire pressure hadn’t been checked in a while. He filled up the tires to the appropriate amount and send her on her way. Thank you!!

Brought my car here to get new tires (bought somewhere else) mounted and balanced 3 years ago and had great service. Just brought it in because one tire had a slow leak. Called ahead to let them know i was coming, they took it back and patched the puncture at no charge. The guy there was nice (forgot his name, woops) and was taken care of right away. Definitely recommend the place for great service and customer care.

Finding an honest mechanic seems like an impossibility these days. Well, look no further. AJ and the crew at Mountain View Tire and Auto may not be the least expensive in town, but they will tell you exactly how it is without even the slightest hint of an upsell. I dropped a vehicle off late Sunday with some questionable suspension issues. How many shops are even open on Sunday, right? By Monday afternoon they had identified the cause, discussed what they suggested be done and got all the work accomplished...for LESS than originally quoted. These folks know what theyre doing and get it done right for a reasonable cost. I give them my highest recommendation 👍

Love the folks there at Mountain View! They are super helpful very accommodating. The wait time never is very long, and they always remember you. Prices can be steep at times but you get what you pay for! Quality!

The Mountain View store has always been excellent. Ive gone in there multiple times for different services on different cars and the customer service has always been amazing. Theyve given me the lowest prices and they treat you with respect. I will continue going there and I definitely recommend their services.

I wont come back here again. I came in for my brakes. Upon them working on my car they reported a slice in the tire. The slice is nothing like a crack or slice made by wear and tear. It looks so clean and precise.

I called the place to get an estimate on a 4 set of new tires; they told me I was looking at 600-650$ work order.so I drove over to get the work done; While they were working on my car they told me they had to do an alignment because they were installing new tires for an extra 80$. At that point I was annoyed because they should include everything from the get go. It gets even better; when I got my final invoice it was over 900$.They failed to mention all the fees.That should be nice to disclose all the charges that comes with the work such as 10$ charge per tired??? they charged for air!! Ok at that point I had no choice but to pay for the work done since the tires were installed already.A couple of days ago I took a friend for an oil change they told him he needed to replace front tires for only 300$; and here we go again, After I asked for a real invoice with fees and all the Charges they fail to mention, they came up with a total of 550$ there is a big difference between those two amounts, don’t get me wrong I like the place, the stuff, and Steve the manager is really nice I just HATE the way they do business; I think is just wrong.

I had a nail in one of my tires and I went there for repair. The first thing the guy said was that my tread was low and I needed my tires replaced. I only have 30k miles on my car, and the tires are top of the line, Ive rotated them accordingly, and I drive mostly surface streets. He was very, very pushy about buying tires, and kept pushing the financing option. He said they could not legally repair because the tread was too low. I went to another legitmate, well known tire place in the area, for which I was told the tread was perfectly fine, and it would be a waste to replace them, and then they fixed my tire. Basically, if you are a woman, do not go here. They are trying to rip you off.

My tire had been leaking very slowly so i took it in here, they were somewhat new offroad tires i never had a problem with.it took them 2 hours to patch the hole in my wheel.the next day the tire was totally flat! they told me Id have to buy a new once because it sat on itself for too long. Ill never come back here again

These guys rock! I was a block away in an RV Park and was moving to Missouri. I needed new tires on a 5th wheel traile and a boat trailer. They came out and pulled the old tires, mounted new ones an reinstalled them on site. Wow what service. I was able to start my trip on time and made it to Missouri without a hitch. Thanks

Okok where do i start. they scammed us $565.28 to repair my truck. they charged us 90 dollars for inspection. keep in mind i live 2 hours away in panorama city. and i needed my truck to be fixed for work. it took them 2 days to do absolutely nothing. i was with my son at the time and we were about to go back home and because they did nothing to my truck it broke down right before we entered the 5 freeway. and if it didnt break down before we entered the freeway. we couldve been going 80 on the freeway and then it couldve stopped the cars behind me wouldve hit my bumper and that would have ended worse than my day was. we tried taking the car back to the dealer before they closed. and we asked for a refund and the manager did absolutely nothing. we ended up getting an uber and going back home. :( i gave away more than 500 dollars for nothing. so please do yourself a favor and dont go there.

These guys will rip you off. Always oversell. Recently puchased a tire from them that came with a 30,000 mi warranty. It had been driven on less than a thousand miles and developed a bubble. They want me to buy a new one. They said the warranty doesnt apply since I did not purchase an extended warranty. Stay away from this place.
