Im always trying to be on the lookout for an exemplary business when it comes to customer service. My experience at Tustin Toyota service was nothing short of that. Kevin the assistant service manager assisted me with my needs which were special in nature to that of the average customer. She took my needs and request personal and made sure that everything was carried out to the T! He was always extremely professional and polite. Never once did I feel like I was bothering him at work even if he was busy with other customers and I was waiting in line. Shes very knowledgeable to add to everything when I was talking about mechanical specifics he knew and understood exactly what it was I was referring to. this is a quality you wont find in many service writers theyre not actually in the service Bay so its not common for them to have a true grasp of mechanical aspects. When it comes to Toyotas I would recommend this place first and foremost over anything if its within your area. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed with your service nor regret anytime or money spent on repairs!
I waited 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment! That I showed up early for. The worst part was that the guy who was supposed to HELP me could care less about the issues and repairs that I wanted to address. He didnt even bother to ask what I would like. He dismissed my concerns with and I quote anyway getting back to your service plan... all he cared about was SELLING ME A $365 service plan. After I felt dis respectfully ignored, I declined and decided to take $145 oil change. Not once was I told have a great day thanks for choosing us etc. Everyone had a bad attitude. Not even a cup a coffee! When I went to pay the cashier who was rude as well, she was in her pajamas w/ no make up or decent clothes and didnt even acknowledge me. Then to top it off they made me find someone to fetch my car and of course there was no one. I had to chase a guy down who didnt speak English and when he finally brought my car out, he was rude and didnt even have the decency to say thank you or goodbye. The GM should be ashamed. The environment and the lack of professionalism here is not worth the long wait time or the price. They have no concept of customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOYOTA DEALER OR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. To say Ill never be back is an understatement.

Took my Toyota in for preventative maintenance. Kevin, my Service Advisor, was so nice & professional. My car was done in 90 minutes as promised. This is the 2nd Toyota I have purchased from this dealership. Always a pleasure to deal with them.
While they couldnt answer my need over the phone, they were responsive and got me to their roadside assistance. They solved the issue and got me on my way. Im impressed so far, but why would I get a dead battery in 6 months on a new vehicle? Nothing was left on. They said it was cold weather? Seems strange.
Dealer service centers get a bad rap... had an issue with the A/C fan not working... Eric in service walked me through the repair over the phone, when he easily could have told me come in for a service appt. I have used Tustin Toyota for years, and will remain a customer for years to come.
Had a appointment. Dealer is overbooked, overpriced and understaffed. I waited over 3 hours for a simple oil change. They wanted over $45 to rotate the tires. They should have a dedicated service for routine oil changes and vehicle checks to avoid the customer waiting for a ridiculous amount of time for a simple oil change. Terrible!
They are friendly but love to upsell. And are super duper expensive.
I was passed to 3 different people, each time I was asked to tell them the details of my car need. The 3rd guy promised, “I’m the last guy you need to talk to.” It was about replacing a normal 12v battery on a not so normal Rav4 EV. I told them that the warning screen on the dash read, “Check EV System- Have your vehicle serviced by a Dealership Immediately”. The service personnel said it was no big deal and that I should call triple A to replace the battery. Bad advice that wasted my time as the AAA battery service does not offer towing, and I ended up needing to put a separate call for a tow truck. A quick search through the Toyota EV forum on Facebook proved that the advice I was given was thoughtless, as it really did require exactly what it said on the dash. I cannot recommend this place.
They fixed my car well, I bought it there and all is fine now.

I came here for the windshield replacement. Not everything was perfect but they were trying to fix the problem with whatever they can do to make you feel better. The whole process was efficient and the customer service was wonderful. I would recommend this dealer if you need Toyota car repair
A few days ago I took my car to service and they are excellent but it is a waste of paper that they give to each client.I think it is better to send all the information by email instead of handing you 5 sheets of paper.

Paid $160 for them to tell me it’s going to cost $780 to replace 1 oxygen sensor?! Don’t worry, they will credit me $160 towards the $780. 🤦♀️ I found the part online for $115 and I will be replacing it for free. Classic stealership tactics. This isn’t Toyota specific, but dealerships are thieves!
Took 4 hours and no car wash...very bad and I asked for oil change and 10k miles service and it looks like my tires were never rotated like It should .... never go there again Santa Marguerite dealer much better and yes they wash your car in Covid time ...Tustin has no customer service....weak ..last time going there or buying a car from that dealer too.
I worked with Kevin at Tustin Toyota. He was very honest & polite. I will be taking my car to him and Tustin Toyota going forward. Based on my experience with him and the dealership I will also be referring anyone I know who has a Toyota to them as well. Unfortunately in the past taking a car to the dealership can be a daunting task but not here. Its good to see there are still good people/dealerships out there.

The staff are helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable when it comes to your Toyota car. They even have on site car rental. The only down side of it was the wait time. I waited almost one hour before my paper work was done.

My first time here to get my Toyota serviced and everything started fine but I asked questions over the phone before making a service appointment regarding the shuttle service and what not. They mentioned they only drive within a 10 mile radius, which is fine with me but failed to mention that the shuttle is only ONE WAY! Why couldn’t they tell me that over the phone before dropping it off during my work hours?! Now I have to sit here and wait for my car to be serviced 🤦🏻♀️ during my work hours. What a disaster! Not a good first impression...
$99 for a smog check for 2016 Corolla. Robbery. 🙄️Could you not take advantage of innocent people? Also, it took them whole afternoon 12pm to 7pm to do the smog check even though the appointment was made beforehand.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR CAR SERVICE!They just want to sell you parts. I brought my car in for alignment and new tires. 2hrs later they called and said I needed new brakes. This guy KEVIN kept pushing me to buy 2 new brake pads, some bs shim kit, 2 new rotors (because mine were warped), plus service for a total of $650. When I chuckled and said theres no way Im agreeing to buy anything over the phone at $650, the guy dropped $150 out of the quote just like that (!?). Still unbelievable so I didnt get any of those. Look up what brake rotors look like. Those double-walled steel plates with internal ribs ARE NOT GONNA WARP.A few days later I went to a local shop and had my 2x brake pads replaced, and my 2x old rotors turned to like-new conditions. They charged me only $150 with service.Oh and my alignment problem is still there, just slightly better after wasting ~$140 here with these dishonest incompetent people.
I had an appointment at 7 am, and I was there at 6:45 am. It took almost 2hrs and 45min to get my car back(just for changing the oil). I won’t bring my car back here.
EDITED: Okay guys I know I was being pretty critical in my last review, and I will be as equally here. After my last visit, Karen, the service manager reached out to me again and was absolutely determined to make sure I had a great experience at Tustin Toyota, She apologized, she informed what steps she would take to make my visit great, she rescheduled me, and she handled it perfectly.. I am a customer service manager as well, so I can really recognize when a manager or service expert comes to take corrective action, and how they handle the situation. And they did just that, When I returned everybody was so friendly. Brian was my service adviser manager and he was so polite and throughout in his explanation of everything, and he really made sure my visit went flawlessly, THANK YOU BRIAN BALDWIN!!And of course I have to Thank Karen Chavez who really went above and beyond to see that she could make it right and she did. For this I will always return to Tustin Toyota for any other service or sales needs. This place has an excellent management team who makes sure the guests are the first priority and this is the key to a great business, Great job Guys!!! I appreciate everything you have done for me.
My grandmother bought a car here last week and the service was excellent. Doug the finance guy made her feel comfortable and was patient with her questions. She has bought many cars and normally doing the paperwork is the worst part. Thank you Doug for all your help.
I love the service including the waiting / showroom. I bring my granddaughter and we both bring our iPads. Just one thing: why are some websites (such as YouTube) blocked? It would waiting 2 hours make more pleasant specially for my granddaughter if she could watch her favorite videos.Other than that absolutely no complaints.

Did not feel any pressure in the process, James went out of his way running back and forth to get us keys to different trucks, water, anything you could imagine. He was extremely helpful, made us feel at ease in the whole buying process, which took a while because we took our time and made sure we got what we really wanted. I took my 2007 Camry Hybrid for 175,00 mile service. Michael Martinez helped me and was very descriptive on the services that would be done to my car. The service was done and everything was checked and completed as I was told it would be. Kevin Gordon and their Manager Bobby are incompetent and should not have their positions here at Tustin Toyota. They tried to sell me parts I did not need and recommended a procedure I didnt need. I thought I had an engine issue due to noise and told them to check everything on a truck with only 40k miles. They proceeded to tell me my tires were too big and I needed new ones and I had to replace my radiator hose. My tires are a size up than factory and my hose after having a real mechanic look at it had a minor fluid drip stain with no problems or issues. If anything my mechanic I took it to said I needed to replace a plastic clamp for dollars instead of the 390 hose they wanted to replace the entire thing. My mechanic laughed when he heard what they told me. ALL I NEEDED WERE MY TIRES ROTATED and problem was solved. After 12 years of dealing with Tustin Toyota and being a happy loyal customer I will never bring my truck back here due to incompetence .

My wife and I recently purchased a new Tacoma at Tustin Toyota and could not be more pleased with our buying experience. April in Sales and Doug in Finance provided excellent customer service and worked dilligently with us to provide the best deal for what we wanted. It was a breath of fresh air after spending the prior several days negotiating with seedy sales people at a few other local dealerships. I would highly reccommend Tustin Toyota to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.
Summary:Get your recalls fixed at a dealership only because theyre free. Besides that, I highly recommend an independent garage to do your other maintenance services.I did more research and finally went with Corner 3 Garage for my other servicing/maintenance needs. The customer service there is honest, and they walk you through why different parts of your car need servicing, and what is really necessary to purchase/replace.I received a 2004 Tundra with over 240,000 miles from my uncle so I wanted to make sure that it got a good servicing and that any recalls would be addressed, so I brought it to the Tustin Toyota dealership at 6:45am.After diagnostics my service rep quoted:$730 - Timing belt change$249 - Front brakes change$249 - Throttle body cleaning$124 - Brake fluid flush$119 - Steering fluid flushI was a bit wary about the prices and so I called up 4-5 other independent garages who had good Yelp reviews and basically got these prices:- Power steering fluid flushes are not sold by independent garages, but will do them if the customer insists for about $50-$70. So again $119 is pretty steep and sketchy that the Tustin Toyota recommended it as an important item to service.- Brake fluid flushes are about $40-$70, not $124. Other independent garages again said that this is not a necessary item either.- Throttle body cleaning are about $72-$140. $249 is a big 77% markup by Tustin Toyota.- Front brakes change are about $236 from independent garages.- Timing belt change are about $550-$800.I decided to go ahead with the Timing belt change and Front brake change since the prices werent too bad at the dealership so I called in to do so.I inquired about changing the Water pump too since the labor involved is the same while changing a Timing belt. (If the Water pump isnt replaced and dies at an earlier time than the Timing belt, Ill have to pay for the same labor costs again.)My service rep said hed call me back about the Water pump replacement cost and to get approval for other part replacements while the mechanics are at that part of the servicing.I get no call for the rest of the day. I call in at 7am the next day to check in. No answer, and so I leave a couple of messages. I get a call back from another service rep at about 8:30am letting me know that my first service rep is off for the day and that my truck is done.I explained that I was supposed to get a call to make sure that I would be able to get other parts replaced while the Timing belt was being replaced, and that I wanted the Water pump replaced as well. The service rep says: I dont really believe you. You can wait until tomorrow to speak with the original service rep because I dont know what you agreed on with my colleague - and ... I dont want to talk to the director about this either because hes busy. You can pick up your truck today because the work is done, or you can leave it for the day and talk to my colleague. Thank you.Not very helpful that my first service rep didnt even tell me he wouldnt be in the office or transfer my case to another service rep properly.Thats 2 days with my truck in the shop.My recommendation, check out independent garages. Youll most likely get overcharged at Tustin Toyota, and the customer service needs some major work.
I went to Tustin Toyota to purchase an extended service plan for my vehicle. I was pleasantly greeted by Doug Hill in the Finance Department. Doug was very helpful and detailed in explaning all the different plans and what exactly they covered on my vehicle, he even customized the term to my driving needs! We agreed on a fair price and I was on my way, Thank you Doug! I highly recomend his services in financing a car and any additional items you may need to protect and maintain your car. I have never had such a terrible services here in Tustin Toyota. I never come back. 3 days to fix it came out in bad condition I waited more than 2 hours to re-fix again.
They forgot I left my car for service and i called them after 4 hours that my car was with them( they said only 2 hrs), no one answered till 20 min before they close. I wont go back again.
I have 3 Prius.Every time that I come here for service,I see a pearl service man called THOMAS HIGGINS.He threats me like family,he is very helpful.His gentleness radiats arounds. Thank you Tom and thank you TOYOTA for having great people like him.

A big thank you Tustin Toyota Service Department, more directly towards Mike Martinez. I stopped in because I was having some minor problems with my FJ and I wanted to have them taken care of before I go out of town this weekend. When I arrived Mike came out to help me and I told him I was in a hurry to get to work. He said no problem and took a quick minute taking my info down and before I could call my wife to pick me up to take me to work, He already had a loaner car waiting for me and said he would give me a call and let me know the status. I wish service was like this everywhere I went, but unfortunatly it is not. Tustin Toyota keep individuals like Mike around because they are far and few between and these individuals will seperate you from the rest. I went here to get my first service on my Prius and was immediately greeted by Michael. Hes a very friendly and funny guy! I told him I had class soon so he got everything set up in less than 10 minutes. Since it was baby Priuss first time there he told us exactly what they were going to do. When he was entering the information into the computer, it wasnt an awkward 10 minutes. He was chit chatting with me and my dad the whole time and even cleaned our sun glasses! My dad asked how he got his bald head so shinny and he gave my dad some advice haha! All in all it was a really entertaining, fun and fast service visit. Im picking up my Prius in about an hour ^_^
My experience at Tustin Toyota was nothing less than excellent! the sales person Herman Sharkawi was really great to work with and made the whole transaction very simple. I went in wanting to buy a scion XD and he found me exaclty what i asked for. He was very friendly and I have already told my friends about my experience and to visit Tustin Toyota for their next purschase.

I went there to get my cars 20 K service. Wait time was way too long, I had to wait extra time because they lost my key. They were very unprofessional, very unorganized. It took almost 3 hrs to get my car back, which was supposed to be about 1, 5 hrs. I dont think Im going there anymore.
