My experience at LMode Bridal was incredible and Dorie was a true LIFE saver with my wedding gown!I had lost about 30 pounds and my dress was hanging off of me.As you can see from the photos, my dress had a low back and open bust line, making it very difficult to alter correctly.I had taken it to a previous OC tailor, who shall remain nameless. She promised me the moon and stars, and was sadly disappointed.Although that tailor had said she could, bring the dress in no problem, I picked it up a month later only to find it was still utterly hanging off me. (The first photo I uploaded was taken the day I picked up my altered, dress.)With only 2 months before the wedding and serious issues to my dress, I had a full break down.One of my friends recommended LaMode Bridal and within an hour of making the call, I was in Dories studio. She heard my story and immediately squeezed me in.Her, bed side manner, when dealing with an upset bride was amazing, by the way.Dorie informed me that the dress would have to be taken apart and re-built (which is what I expected initially.)I asked Dorie if she had the time to fix the dress and she eased my mind telling me, No problem!

Dories studio is stunning. I felt Dorie was serving me in her garden. Nor only her studio is shockingly beautiful and Dorie does great job altering my wedding gown to perfection. She is a gem. She had made me at ease in the whole process. I had consulted a few places before I got referred by a co-worker. Non of them can be comparable to her passion, commitment and confidence to handle the job. I am so blessed to being referred by my co-worker. I cant say enough Thank you to Dories hard work and passion solving the challenging problems. I would highly recommend to all brides-to-be.

I highly recommend Dories service. She is so professional but most importantly she truly cares about the women who hire her. She was just so kind. I needed my dress done in a rush and she was on top of it. Im sure that it wasnt easy for her but she made sure that my dress fit perfectly on my big day. I had an excellent experience working with LModel Bridal. I was referred by my co- worker who had hired Dorie to alter her wedding gown when she got married. Dorie is very professional and detail oriented. For the amount of intricacy my wedding gown was, the price was reasonable. Dorie is my super hero. I should have listened to my friend and hired DoriE in the first place. I paid $1250 to the previous seamstress to alter my wedding gown and did not turn out right and even made it worse. Basically, Dorie had to alter it all over. She accepted the challenging project and straightened out all the mistakes. Thank you Dorie for calming my nerves. Most importantly for solving the tricky job in a short notice. She is very professional and reasonable. I am very thankful to Dorie. I would highly recommend to all brides-to-be, to save energy, time, money and avoid getting the stress.

Dorie did all the alterations for my wedding. This included my gown, six brides maids, and my mother’s dress. I knew I was in good hands because I came to her when I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and she did beautiful work. She didn’t disappoint this time either. She made sure every dress fit like a dream. She also made sure everything was done with plenty of time before the wedding. I can’t stress this enough you NEED to come to her for Bridal Alterations. A lifesaver! A week before my wedding another seamstress did a horrible job adding a corset. I got some nos but Dorie took up the challenge and honestly saved my wedding dress. Because of COVID she is working at home but transformed her living room into a cute bridal room. She is super sweet and totally worth it. I was skeptical because I had to pay upfront but she did not let me down. She didnt just add the corset but also heard what I wanted and added boning to add more support. A huge thank you to Dorie!

I dont know what I would have done without Dories help. I bought off the rack and my dress just didnt fit my body the way I wanted it to. I loved the dress but just didnt love the way it looked on me. Dorie was so sweet and reassured me that she would make the dress fit perfectly. The day of my final fitting I was in tears of happiness because my dress was perfect. She does such amazing work. I cannot recommend her enough. Dorie was amazing!! I called her about two months before my wedding asking if she could squeeze be in for alterations. She was so accommodating. She perfectly fitted my wedding dress and added on beautiful sleeves. It was a bit on the pricey side but her work is totally worth it. You’re in good hands here!

My sister took her wedding dress here to get a bustle-up. However, Dorie cut off the sleeve off her dress, and even kept a large piece of it when we came back to get her dress!!! We took the dress to another seamstress who pointed out to us that no expert would have made this HUGE error. Either she RUINED her dress BEYOND RETURN on purpose in an attempt to keep us as clients, or she really is not as skilled as she claims to be (to me, it seems that its both of these things). A bustle-up should not have been well over $500, when the sign in her studio clearly says $50 - $250. Wheres the extra $250 coming from!? As for my dress, I needed to hem it, which ended up costing a whopping $95... Thats VERY unreasonable. Please SAVE YOURSELF AND DONT GO TO DORIE.

One of my friends referred me to Dori for bridal gown alteration. It is worthy coming from Santa Barbara as my gown fitted perfect and I want to recommend her to any brides looking for best bridal alterations specialist. I got a lot of compliments in the wedding because she did a fabulous job. Thank you Dori for all you did the reasonable price you received for such an amazing job.

Thank you, Dorie! Dorie was able to quickly turn around my dress very last minute when it didn’t fit anymore because of my pregnancy! She confidently added inches to my dress in less than a week so I didn’t have to stress about finding a dress last minute :) and now my baby bump fits comfortably in my dress and I can breathe! I was looking for an alterations place because the previous place I went to was not sure they could help due to the delicate fabric. Upon my search I came across LMode and I am so glad I did. I was worried my dress could not be altered or it would not be done in time. I had heard horror stories from my friends and I didnt want that to happen to me. I met Dorie and tried my dress on and right away she knew exactly how to fix it. I cut it close with the timing but she said it was not a problem. I picked my dress up on exactly the date we had set and everything fit perfect!!!! I was so amazed at her work.

I ordered this dress from L’mode Bridal a few weeks ago, and it has already arrived! It got ready well within time and looks wonderful. The back of the dress is a bit different from the original, but no one will be able to tell. Thank you Dorie for the prompt service. I will definitely be ordering more dresses in the future.

Dorie is an expert in design and alterations. I had a budget for my wedding, and she was able to customize all my dresses (I had 3!) look like they had been made expressly for me. I am always going to come to Dorie, even though she has moved to the Valley. Its not a far drive for perfection. This place is so bad, I didn’t get her name but the Asian lady was so rude and disrespectful towards me I’m never coming here ever. I believe the other day was Arabic she was so nice and kind but the other lady was just awful
