I scheduled time off of work to have my vehicle repaired at this location for a known issue that was explained to the gentleman that answered the phone. I stated the details of the repair during our call and got a price.On the scheduled date of repairs I show up and was told they looked up the wrong repair when you called in, its actually going to be $200 more.I can understand a small discrepancy but a 28% increase in price from the quoted job to the correct price, thats ridiculous.

This complaint regards attempted theft of property, and harmful and dishonest business practices. On June 17, 2021 I requested a vehicle tow through AAA to bring my overheating vehicle to an auto repair shop in Twin Falls, ID. The auto shop, Addicted to Auto” diagnosed my vehicle and quoted me for a blown head gasket for my Subaru forester. I accepted, then left for Boise with the estimated time for completion being Tuesday June 22nd. I received a call that Monday that they were not ready but rather had found other problems such as cracked cylinders, in addition to having stripped out the tensioner for my timing belt. Pressing them for a quote, I realized their estimated repairs would be more than my vehicle was worth. I called them the following morning and informed them that I would most likely total my vehicle, and that I would be by later that day to tow it from their shop. Upon arrival I was informed by Joe that everything had been put back in my vehicle ready for towing except for the cylinders which Logan had asked if I wanted, and I had declined since he informed me that they were not usable. I paid them for their disassembly, but before I left the shop I checked under the hood of my car to find that they had stripped my vehicle under the hood of everything they had deemed valuable. Among the pieces they had scavenged was my new, less than a week old, radiator. I reentered the shop, requested my pieces and was allowed into the back of the shop where I found the radiator and few other piles of parts. These pieces had been, as they deemed it, saved. This action was known to all the mechanics present, Joe included, for he was asked specifically regarding the pieces he had been saving, and had pointed us in the right direction. Sadly I do not recall the other mechanics names. I know Logan, who to my knowledge is the owner, was not present when I returned for my parts, so I cannot confirm his participation. After loading my parts into my vehicle and being assured repeatedly that I now had everything, I circled back around the block to park and wait for the tow truck I had requested. Having re-parked, I found one of the mechanics taking more pieces, which he had been storing in his private vehicle, and putting them into my car. My vehicle was then towed to a mechanic, whom I trust, to give me the final sentence. In his words, “it looked like someone had set a bomb off in my engine, and that parts had been extracted which had no reason to be pulled.

I went in for a diagnostic I planned to a a half hour. They ended up keeping the truck a bit longer. They ended up not finding anything so, when I went to pay he said its free since I didnt find anything. He also told me to pass the love along to the next person.

Addicted to Auto was very quick, thorough, and had a great line of communication. I brought my car in with a misfire on cylinder 3 and a too lean on bank 1 code. Logan was very quick to diagnose the cause of the codes and my car was avaliable to be picked up the same day! Sometimes when its running now, I cant tell its on - its never ran this smooth before! Addicted to Auto is my go to shop, very grateful for the honest work and quick service

Super friendly staff, was lucky a spot opened up and they got me in the very next day after I called. Prices on oil change are far better than the chain shops that always try to charge you extra for repairs you didnt request. Very happy with my experience.

Had my truck fixed fast and the right way 3 times now and was surprised the bill was fairly cheap everytime! This last time was on Friday at 4:45 pm and he still took me in got me fixed up even after hours! If u need work done this is the shop u want!

Awesome service, great price, honest shop...loved my experience there. I found out they also do oil changes, breaks and various other jobs. Good vibes. I encourage you to check them out and give them a chance to show you that they are a great business...with great customer service. However, the 2nd time I went in I asked for all my breaks to be done but the owner only did the back when I told him that I was tight on money but still needed them done. The brakes grab when I push them and he didnt do the other things I asked. My star rating for this place went down also when I gave him cash expecting the correct change...he short changed me by a couple of dollars. I thought he would fix it but he didnt. I didnt say anything but, not going back.

I didnt know the place was veteran owned when I had my car towed, but when I went to talk to them I saw it on the door. Logan the owner is a veteran and super nice. He and the staff didnt try to upsell me. I got my car back much faster than expected, and I was consulted on everything they did before they did it! Plus, veteran discount.

Complicated and tough projects for Logan which he has performed well. Would recommend him to anyone especially if you have a 1997-99 Cadillac Catera with leaking valve covers (hint hint - youre going to have to get new valve covers as its not the gaskets, its warping of the plastic valve cover so the gaskets just dont seal no matter how much goop and gasket seal you use, lol)
