We were greeted at the door with a generous welcome. The salesperson was thorough in demonstrating the product and explained each feature of the beds as we went along. Very positive experience.

Be prepared for credit approval to become a salespersons shopping spree on your behalf. Thier agressive endorsement of each and every accessory they can pile on to your limit is kind of comical. Know when to say no. Our 360 smart bed is amazing for my back, but put aside any ideas about being close with your spouse on this mattress. Visualize the DMZ betwean the Koreas. If you have a different setting than them, the moment any of thier body crosses on to your side its going to distort the shape and comfort of this mattress. It may adjust automatically...some of the time, but dont count on it. This smart bed often loses interest in your needs. What is it thinking as you lay there in your expensive hammock, or sometimes bouncy house?

We bought a sleep number bed and we dont like it that much. We are trying to exchange it for something with more cushion so it doesnt feel like sleeping on a camping mat, but they keep saying they are working on processing it. We have been in to talk to them in the store three times and they havent given us a direct answer. My husband went in a fourth time and they said to call customer service directly. They could have said that the first time. Now its been a month and we get to sit on hold with customer service.Update: Customer service was really great. Mia was our agent and she went above and beyond to help us out. Apparently you cant exchange things from the store you have to call customer service. We are getting our new version in a few weeks and hopefully it will be great.Caution: You can NOT return the base that the mattress comes on. When we tried to do that they said they only return the top mattress. We paid $8,000 for the bed, but they were only going to return $2,000 because the base is non-refundable and there were lots of extra charges and special sheets and things. I think that is kind of sneaky. They advertise a free trial that actually costs $6,000. So dont buy unless you have actually slept on a sleep number bed in a hotel or something and you know that you like a sleep number bed. Otherwise it is a really expensive mistake.

We decided to try out sleep number knowing that we had 100 days to try things out. After a few weeks my wife and I just didnt feel like sleep number fit what we wanted in a mattress. We decided to return the bed, but found out the $4000 dollar base was nonrefundable! I wish I would have known that up front. Then rather than eat the $4000 we decided maybe we could upgrade the mattress. We worked with the store and the personell there led us to believe we could upgrade with the promotion they were currently running since it was within 30 days of when we first purchased the mattress. They printed out a price quote and told us they would run it through customer service. I asked if I should call customer service directly and was told no. The store never followed up on this. I called and went into the store on several occasions. They never returned calls and never answered their phone. When I went in I was reassured that they were taking care of it. After 3 weeks I called customer service directly and was told they could upgrade, but we had missed the promotion and now the upgrade would cost us an extra $2000! I was incensed. We explained things to customer service and they did finally agree to not charge us extra to get into the promotional bed, although originally it looked like we were going to get she money back. Right now Im not a huge fan of the bed in sleeping in. It feels like an air mattress. Also, sex is weird in this bed. Obviously cant try that one out in the store, so it would have been nice to know what my real return options were up front.

Love the bed and bedding, however the time it takes to just buy a pillow is ridiculous..you feel trapped.. and once the process starts you feel tapped before its over. Come on Guys
