Contacted him on Facebook and asked where his shop was located as I was interested in seeing an item. I was told I could see it when I was ready to purchase it. When I told him I wanted to see it first, I got notified that he left the group which I guess means he wont be responding to any more messages. Hell of a way to run a business. I guess it doesnt bother this guy that nobody even wants to give him 1 star. Which is fine. It doesnt hurt anyone but himself.

Jim, the owner told me to stop wasting his time when I was asking him questions about the washer/dryer set he had for sale...am not sure how I as a customer inquiring about products that you as an owner have listed for sale is wasting your time, but I was interested in buying it, I just needed to make sure it would fit in our space. I suppose if you can be so picky as to tell customers to not buy from you then you must be doing okay in these times, but imagine how MUCH better it would be if you treated customers and potential customers with kindness and respect.

I called about a used fridge. My family and I needed one for a food booth at the fair in Burley, Idaho. He was very rude. He wouldnt answer my questions without an attitude. He hung up on me twice and told me he wasnt talking on the phone if I wanted to see what he had I had to go online and then hung up on me. If I could post a negative amount of stars I would. Very disappointed. He shouldnt be a business owner.

The owner was so rude on the phone, if I could leave no or negative stars. We called to ask about a fridge, we wanted to know if it was side by side or freezer on top, fridge on the bottom. He told us “it looks like a fridge” and that if we wanted to know we could drive all the way there and look at it. After we say he wasn’t being very nice about he it hung up the phone on us.

I have rental properties in Twin Falls Idaho. My tenant had their dishwasher go out so I looked on Facebook I happen to see a dishwasher for sale and it was snake River that was selling it. I purchased it from him and sent my tenants in to look at it to make sure that they would be OK with it he charge me a fee to come out and install it once he found out my tenant had a truck he tried to ask them to install it themselves and he would give them the money that their landlord paid him so they could install it. They thought that might be voiding any type of warranty. Anyhow very unprofessional the unit did not work he thought and argued with my tenant told me she was rude and he was going to teach her a lesson and then the machine did not work and he demanded they pull it out bring it into him and he would get it working I wound up just buying a unit from Lowe’s and he did not want to refund my money but kept the unit. When I spoke with him I could not believe what kind of a business person I was talking to he wound up at the end offering me back half of my money the other half to restock the item I highly recommend you be very cautious when doing business deals with the owner of snake river appliances. But also to get my house back I had to physically Go into his store and catch him there because he did not want to take my calls. Be careful.

Sold us a fridge that doesnt cool down at all in both the fridge and freezer for $550. They have a warranty on almost everything else so we contacted them within that time frame and they never responded so we kept calling and theres no warranty on the fridges apparently. Better to buy off Facebook marketplace from personal homes for fridges with those prices and outcomes.

Had an unfortunate experience with these individuals in IF. They brought a washer that didnt work. Which is fine, decided to not exchange the washer but return it as Snake River Furniture states they have a 30 day return policy. They picked up the washer, and pushed my wife to not get a receipt of return from them and just to trust them that they would return the money as soon as it was processed by our bank. Two weeks passed without any return. I put in a claim through my bank, the bank contacted Snake river furniture and they stated that they never received the merchandise. Currently I cannot recommend this company . Hopefully they turn things around.

Just moved to Idaho falls and was in need of a decent washer and dryer for our rental. There were TERRIBLE options in Idaho falls, that all wanted a bunch of money. We found an ad on Facebook for a washer and dryer set and I could not have been happier with the customer service Henry from Snake River Appliance gave me. He delivered to my home, and even set them up for me because my husband was out of town and I desperately needed them working right away. He was very friendly and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone that I know. Thank you Henry!

I really hate giving a 1 star review. But when you go online to sell your appliances and DONT want people to know who you are, or your business, thats very concerning. I asked who the guy is and the business name if I ever had a problem during the 1 month warranty, and he got very mad at me for even asking! I told him I was concerned about his reviews, and instead of assuring me they were false or he would do better, he just replied go f yourself and cut off communications with me. So here I am posting this lovely review. I wish he would realize that you cant treat customers like a dirty washing machine. I would not recommend this business. TERRIBLE. I bought a dryer. When it was dropped off, the guy said, the heating element isnt working it is your house fuse. I replaced the fuse, the dryer still wont work. I called to have them replace the dryer but i have to bring it to them. Im in a sling just having shoulder surgery. I was told, Thats not my problem, thats our policy. If you want it fixed, bring it to us

Not being one to 8-Ball a business without hearing their side of the story, I sent a screenshot and asked, Is there more to this story? (That is the ONLY thing I sent them.) Now, hang on tight - this is how they responded:SRF&P: why are you sticking you nose in my business for?SRF&P: who are you that I have to explain myself to you?ME: WHOAH! I realize there are always 2 sides to every story, and, before 8-balling you I wanted to know your side. I have some appliances breaking down and am looking for replacements.SRF&P: buy elsewhere I dont careSRF&P: if I have to explain myself then I dont want your business...Ive been doing this 8 years and I do a half million a year in sales so someone out there likes doing business with meBased on this interaction alone, I would NEVER make a purchase from this company. Very rude, not willing to work with you, he does not let you see the items before buying them. He forces you to basically buy something and take it home if he actually lets you see the item. Terrible customer service. He should not be in this industry at all if he hates what he does or dealing with people...ESPECIALLY if he is selling used appliances. Dont even bother with this place.

Dont always rely on others feedback and reviews. I personally know from past careers that people are quick to post negative reviews on a business they didnt have a good experience with, where as those who had a good experience seldomly jump online to rave about their positive transactions.Have talked to Jim @ Snake River Furniture in the past when looking for affordable furniture when we bought our house. He wasnt rude to me then, nor was he unpleasant when I just met with him to purchase a couch. Good business, short and sweet. Those who have purchased appliances should always understand used electronics are hit or miss. Furniture is more of what you see is what you get. Im a satisfied customer. Good deal for a good hide a bed.

We were able to buy a washer and dryer for a good price. They delivered. We had a problem with the washer so they quickly replaced it. We also received help in getting the dryer hose in the correct position, as we are new to owning our own set. They arrived to appointments on time and were nice.

Seems like theses people dont know the first thing about customer service. I live about 20 miles away from their store and was interested in a washer and dryer set they had for sale. When I inquired for additional detail Jims wife Carnie was very rude when I asked for additional details i got told everything is in the ad Well it wasnt, no load capacity, model number, age, etc. I reached out to Jim and asked for the model numbers on the set I liked so I could do my due diligence in familiarizing myself with the product I was considering purchasing and he refused to provide it. He didnt even care that it was a deal breaker for me. The owners should really learn some customer service since they are operating in a service industry.

I am not sure what experience these others had, I had a great experience. Jim delivered my washer and dryer the same day I called and it was a Sunday. He even had to take my door off the hinges for it to fit in. Hooked it up and made sure all was running before leaving. It has only been a week and so far so good but my experience with him was very pleasant, machines are clean and price was great.

We bought a queen bed frame from Snake River Furniture and Appliance. When we went to put it together we discovered it had king sized braces and other pieces were missing. When I called to possibly get a return or different braces I got the runaround on how he buys things used and he gives us every chance to check things out thoroughly before we buy it. No help. No return. No partial refund. It was apparently all our fault for not checking it out before buying. Buyer beware!

We bought a set of washer and dryer from him for cheap and it’s been over a year and they are still doing great! Only downside was their hours say 24hrs but it’s actually only on an on-call basis. Give him a call and work out a time to go and check things out and he’ll meet you there. Good used stuff for cheap.

I bought a used refrigerator from him on April 27th, May 3rd I put food in it and the morning of May 5th everything in the freezer was thawed. I tried to get a hold of him but he blocked me. My spouse tried calling him and he hung up. He is a criminal in my eyes.

I went to go look at a dining set. I told him that I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy it yet on the phone. So he asked when I was going to be at his store. He also said he was going to be there at 3pm. I told him I have kids to pick up I’ll be there after 3:30 closer to 4. He was fine with that. I got there he came out showed me the table. I told him I would come back to let my husband look at it he doesn’t get off work until 4:30. He said you can pay for it now and than have your husband look at it. Would give negative stars if possible. Jim sold us a washer which he said runs smooth and works great. He delivered it and we tried to wash clothes later that day but the thing wouldnt turn on. All the buttons on the control panel didnt work, if they did it activated a different button. Cant change the spin speed, water temperature, nothing. I did get it to do 1 cycle and it activated the extra rinse cycle which i couldnt change because the buttons dont work and when it was done, the washer left the clothes so wet you couldnt put them in a dryer, they had to be squeezed first. He told us we had a 14 day waranty, I called him and he told me we were being too picky. So I told him we would try it some more and if I could call him back to the next week to see if he was coming to Idaho Falls so he could take it back. Now he wont return my phone calls or texts, which Ive called well over 20 times. He wont answer either phone. He knows he sold me a piece of crap which is why he wont return my calls. We had another appliance going out that was covered under warranty and that repair man to a look at the beauty Jim sold me and showed me that the bearings were going bad and it wouldnt have lasted much longer anyways. Bottom line is you cant trust this guy. He is dishonest and he doesnt care. DONT buy from this guy. If he sells you something make sure you get a receipt. If I dont hear from him soon, Ill be reporting his store to the Better Business Bureau and filing a police report with my local law enforcement.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS BUSINESS! Bought 2 couches from this guy about 5 months ago. One couch is falling apart and the smaller couch smelled of either cat or dog urine. Ive had to use Febreeze on it several times. Finally the smell is going away. At the same time, I got a dryer. He took my old one and did that in exchange for delivery fee. The dryer has stopped working. It heats up but wont tumble. Im so sorry I didnt read reviews on this guy. I used him because I needed something fast and he was willing to work with me. Now I see why. The receipt I got from him was on a business card. I still have it so if some is doing a law suit on him, Ill be glad to join in. Bad business practice and hes rude.

Jim Hahaj sold me a used dishwasher that he claimed was new! It had water stains inside and parts were missing! He failed to mention the dishwasher came without a front panel and that I would have to buy it separately for $499.00!!! I was messaging them on Facebook about a dishwasher. I gave them my phone number to call me as requested. When he called, I was asking some of the history of the dishwasher and he claimed he was just the salesman and didnt know what was fixed. He then got very upset and told me to go buy a new machine because I am not the right customer for his machine and hung up. Great first impression with a 30 second conversation. I wrote them again on Facebook letting them know it was a terrible experience. They wrote back, Dont be a baby just go away you are not a good fit for my machine. Dont be a cheap ass just go buy a new machine like you want. Great way to start a business. Stay AWAY.

Very disappointed with the service of this business! Found an item I liked on Craigslist and contacted the phone number listed. I was told I couldnt look at any furniture until I was ready to buy. I told the gentleman that I dont commit to.purchasing anything without seeing it first. Bought a washing machine it works great and it was delivered on time.

Tried doing business with this company and was met with hostility and a very rude person saying that they wernt interested in playing games because I was not sure how much store credit id want for a piece of furniture I was going to take to them. Rude!Worst experience I’ve ever had. Not even a one star..Me and my fiancé went in looking at couches, we couldn’t decide on any so my fiancé told him/Jim the one he like had paint or something on the cushions and that we really like a sectional he had and asked if he’d post if he got a bigger sectional and before my fiancé could finish he/Jim said “no, you not allowed in my store. Jim is an absolute fraud. Bought a dryer from him when I was out of state. I asked specific questions about the dryer ( does it make noise like any bearings or motor problems. Does it have any mechanical issues) I was told it was just cosmetic dents and scratches. He drops the dryer off and hooks it up and the thing has the loudest rattle and the motor is whining. I could hear it from down stairs with the door closed. I flat out refused the dryer because he lied about what it was. We argued and he cussed me out. He took the dryer from my house and said he would give me a refund. Two days later I text him about my refund. He says sorry no refunds he will have the dryer “repaired” ( ya right) and I will have to pay another delivery fee. What he didn’t know was he was on camera taking my dryer saying he will give me a refund. That was the only reason I got my money back minus the delivery fee. He is a crook and a felon. Do not buy from him.

We just bought a refrigerator from him we had them ask the measurement and he told us 34 inches and when we took it home got it in the house and it was 35 1/2. We called him right after that and he told us all sales are final even though they didnt say that and tried telling us that he told us 36 inches He was completely rude and he will be reported to the better business bureau. Stay away! Do not buy from Jim at Snake River Appliance -- he has multiple ads on craigslist but doesnt link his business name (Snake River Appliance) to the ads, probably because he has terrible reviews (8 one star reviews actually). He is dishonest and difficult to work with. 90 day guarantee? Not really. After one month our washer broke and he wouldnt return our calls. Finally, he sent a text message to bring our washer in so that he could try to repair it. What? His 90 day guarantee is that you transport the appliance back to his shop so that he can fix it? This is disingenuous at best. When we tried to work something else out to pay to have him pick it up and brought up his 90 day guarantee, he hung up on us. Twice. This is one of the worst experiences Ive had with a company in a long time. The dryer we purchased was okay but had been painted and smelled strongly of paint for weeks, giving me headaches. When I had called about the paint smell, he said later that he hadnt responded because I was rude and demanding. I do not believe that I was, nor that there is any strategy which would have led to a good result.

I went in here spent over $1,000 I ended up paying $500 for a queen bed box spring mattress and a couch I also bought a washer dryer and the refrigerator asked if they could bundle everything together and give me a cheaper rate cuz they wanted $1,300 for when he said yes you would do 10:50 I bought it all asked if there was a warranty 90 days he replied got the fridge home didnt work waited 2 days didnt work washer wouldnt even wash one load of laundry never even tried the dryer called him and his wife up and they said they would either exchange it or give us our money back took it back got$500 back from him actually it was 550 sorry then he calls me cussing me out calling me a m*********** and a thief saying that I stole his refrigerator water filter and unplugged his compressor now he is harassing me on text messages which I have screenshots and copies of this guy used to run out of a storage unit and I didnt even know it was him until I met him at the store he ripped me off on a washer and dryer before but I figured Id give him a second chance they plan on opening a store and Rexburg over in that area do not buy from these people he is a crook and he will continue to try and screw everybody he can
