I happened upon this place while searching for a pie shop for Pi Day this year. Its FANTASTIC! Locally-owned, with absolutely delicious goods. Their crusts are divine! Ive yet to taste something I dont like. Their employees and customer service are equally great. Whether you live nearby or are just passing through, its a must-stop! Do yourself a favor. I live in Antioch and come here just for Niles Pie.

Tried it more than once and unfortunately the pies and crust were really bland. I love fruit pies and was excited to try this place a few years ago but was disappointed with my order. I bought a couple of fruit pies and couple of pop tarts and some cookies. I wouldnt buy the fruit pies again because they had no flavor and the crust was really thick and had not flavor. I would say the same for the pop tarts, they had more dry crust than filling and it was a pretty thick. The salted cookies were good, but the last time I went they tasted off. Not sure if they were older or stale, buy they were not as good as the first time around. Ill drive two hours away to the central valley to try a pie from a fruit stand so it sucks to have something so close not be a good option.

This is a great little shop! I had a potato pastie and a chocolate chunk cookie and they were both surprisingly good! I was in the area to take a licensing test and now I almost wish I could take the test over again just so i can make a return visit to this shop. The vibes are so good😍👍

Obviously needed pie for Pi Day! And this year I decided to try a local spot I pass by all the time, but never got a chance to try.It was really cute they had the Pi sign on the pies, and had a good selection of pies. All looked scrumptious, so I ended up getting:* Apple* Brandy Pecan* Chocolate EspressoPies: the pies were okay. Im not one to complain about having too much crust, its my favorite part of the pie. But I think this was just a tad too much, there was definitely not enough filling, and threw the (filling to crust) ratio off.Some of the pies also seemed undercooked on the bottom - I know the bottom gets soggy from the filling, but the very bottom touching the pan was also very raw looking.The filling was flavorful, which would have been nice to have a bit more.Service: extremely friendly. Seemed everyone wanted pie that day and there was a line inside. The staff was accommodating and quick.Ambiance: I was surprised when I walked in because I expected more of a bakery type of store front - little did I know they also do lunches and savory pies!Looked like a nice place to come relax with a book, during lunch, quick break.Will be going back to try some of their quiches, too bad there isnt a national quiche day (in America) :)

These pies are amazing! The crust is perfect and fillings are delicious.I tried the double chocolate espresso and the black and blueberry pies.Went back and picked up an apple pie and a pear rasberry. Worth every penny to get an authentic pie

Umm, yum!!! Seriously, wowowow. That lemon pop tart. That blueberry crumble pie. AH *drools*I may have immediately chowed down the pop tart without reheating. It was delish. Prob would’ve been more delish, if it was reheated. Will try that next time. As for the pie, I took a bite of it when it wasn’t reheated. Immediately regretted it. Put it in the oven to quickly reheat! And the beautiful aroma of buttery goodness began to fill the air, and I knew I was about to be in for a treat!With a scoop of vanilla ice cream, added with the now crunchy crumble, sweet & tart berries, it was perfection.5 stars. Will certainly be reordering soon!

I have only had their food delivered through Door Dash. So, it comes cold and you have to heat it yourself. The food is great. I would have given 5 stars if there were some recommendations as to the heating.

Beef at one of its finer moments. Im not really going to any recommendations because its hard to go wrong here. Meat is cooked to perfection.Just watch out and realize that the dishes do not come with sides and need to be ordered separately (unless things have changed since I last went).

Everything was so fresh and clean and look delicious and I had a mango turnover and my friend had a lemon something that we both thought were fabulous..... go visit them and enjoy

The pork and apple pie is scrumptious! So is the pork and sweet potatoe. The sweet patries are not nearly so good, some are even terrible. But go get a savory pie. The chicken empanada is among the best I have ever had. Mild but the chicken was perfectly moist.

They need to move into Fremont Niles District. Not in Union City. Lol. They are great. Lemon Sunshine Bun...Heaven is Meringue Clouds.Go Go. You wont regret it. Tell Em I Sent You...

Hidden Gem, not sure how we dint notice this for so long (its hidden between office complex), as said in the previous reviews probably one of the best pies in the bay area. We got the Brown Butter Brandy Pecan Pie and sweet potato pie, really good ones.

$$, but worth it. Good quality and a good variety. I like their hours too. They were open until 7 pm.

Every time I take a Niles Pie to an event I always get very positive feedback on how delicious it is! They bake lots of pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas so even if you dont order online ahead of time, you are probably going to have several amazing pies to choose from.

Located in an odd location, but this place has delicious pies.Because they only use seasonal ingredients the winter/fall fruit pies arent to my taste.The crust on any of the offering is well done. Buttery without being greasy and flaky without falling apart. Very well done.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to love this place but I really didnt. I love desserts and mac and cheese and was hoping this place would be my go to placeI got the Chocolate cream, banana cream, pumpkin pie, mac and cheese basil artichoke, pop tarts, apple turnovers, organic greens quiche.All the sweet dishes were okay, nothing that jumped out or wowed me. Kind of can cook things like this at home honestly. Then even the quiche was disappointing because it was kinda burnt and not super savory. Just felt like eggs, cheese and greens thrown together. Really bland.The only saving grace was the mac and cheese basil artichoke. Never tried anything like this but it was really amazing. Great taste and good ingredients that really compliment each other! But alas at the bottom waiting for me was the dreaded burnt layer and that killed any excitement I had left to come back to this place.For the price I expect better and have high standards for it but this fell flat and it sucks because I am like about 10 minutes away and would have loved this to be my new spot

Bought a Blueberry BlackBerry Pie from here at the Hayward farmers market today. Went to take a bite when I got home and ended up eating half the pie by myself, its that delicious. Perfect ratio of crust to filling and everything tastes so fresh.

Fantastic place! This is a real gem tucked away in an office park. The cherry pie is to die for (one of my well-travelled coworkers dubbed it a best-ever), the savory take away dishes are great, and thr homemade croissants and tarts (especially the pop tarts) are terrific morning treats. Plus the folks here are committed to using local ingredients and are going co-op to support their workers. This is what a local bakery should be!

Purchased a Potato pasties, Apple and Blackberry turnover, along with pecan pie. Brandy was an additive to the Pecan pie so for me the flavor was too much. Enjoyed the pecans and other items.

Cute store, good pastry & unique pies. I love the take home & back biscuits and the cinnamon buns. They also have a menu to choose from & take home soups, etc.

Andersen Bakery in Union Landing is so much better and theyre open 7 days a week

I look forward to visiting Niles Pie at the Niles farmers market every Saturday - its the highlight of my day! Every single item Ive ever gotten has been incredible, especially the blueberry cream cheese tart - crispy outside, chewy inside, total perfection!

Read about this place so decided to try, I drove there Saturday morning 8/25/18 and got there right after they opened at 8:00 am, The front clerk was very amiable and welcoming. I bought 4 cinnamon rolls, 2 butter croissant, a large Dutch Apple Pie and Large Mixed Berry Pie. The cinnamon rolls were good, nothing spectacular and the croissant very nice, flaky and buttery but the pies, ughh ! I opened the box and the apple pie crumbly crust was sunk in and cracked exposing the apples below.in about 1/4 of the pie, OK I can live with that but the taste, Major disappointment, the crust was hard and not buttery tasting at all, the apple filling looked old had a greyish tone, dry no juices and was chewy in texture and not flavorful at all. It was lacking sweetness and seemed to be lacking in spices very very bland. The topping was same not sweet, not tasty at all. The mixed berry pie was the same, bland, hard crust, filling a bit sweeter than the apple but berries were gooey. The pies did not look or taste fresh even though the clerk pulled both pies of a rack with many others as if they were fresh baked. I threw them out and after spending over $40 dollars for both pies I was not happy. Will never go back and certainly steer people away.I felt ripped off as these were the worse pies I have ever tasted, Stay away !

Niles Pie Company makes outstanding pies, quiches and more. I am a loyal customer. What more can I say? The rhubarb pies are my very favourite thing.

The storeclerk is attentive. Multitude of pies to choose from, some of them seasonal. Pasties are filling, especially the potato cheddar one. Pies have sizes ranging from 4 to 9. They also make shortbreads, cookies, quiches, tarts, soups, mac and cheese, and, biscuits.

Sausage roll and cherry Pop tart were both delicious. My three yo even ate almost half of the sausage roll!
