The business practices are unprofessional and tacky. I had my storage unit for 3 years when I received a call on Fathers Day morning about not paying the bill the day before. I usually paid my bill on time, but forgot this particular time. At that point, I had given them at least $3,000 in storage fees and they call me Fathers Day morning about being late one (1) day for a $100 storage bill! For the love of God, the call could have waited until Monday morning! They have no regard for others and their families.The unit was just ok. It was a place for storage, but very hot in the summer. I wish it was climate controlled.

Such a great spot! Loved storing my furniture here the staff was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable leaving my things here with them. I have stored for a while and never had an issue. The place is SPOTLESS as well, also my furniture was kept safe and no damages where ever found on any of my items. The location is extremely convenient for me as well. when I have to store again I will most definitely come back!

DO NOT RENT FROM STORAGE BLUE --Stay as far away as you can from this storage facility -- due to the Ownership -- as my personal experience below outlines:Upon arriving to the unit -- they held my unit hostage unless I paid $350 for a false claim from 10 years for a moving truck rental I had previously r rented in another state -- yes, can you believe another state -- and false claim...I had not choice at the time to fight them -- my father had just died -- and the hospital room needed me to remove his personal items, right away -- for another patient -- so I had no option to pay right away. Effectively the owners have a contract with the trucking company -- you can draw your own conclusions.The owners -- not the staff(which are really good people) -- charged my credit card without my permission -- even the staff were dismayed by corporate going around them -- and charging my card without permission.During this Covid Crisis -- as of the last couple of months -- they would not allow me to do a payment plan -- unlike my other storage unit.The owners gave me the option -- not to charge me a late fee.My other storage unit -- simply waived my fee -- and allowed me to do a payment plan -- this storage unit did not.The climate control is not acceptable -- compared to my other storage unit -- I was freezing.DO NOT RENT FROM STORAGE BLUETo the Owners of Storage Blue -- the rule of law may not exist in New Jersey -- but I am going to have Federal Government take hard look at you and your practices - -when I have time to focus on you.

I recently got a storage space at this location, I stopped one day and Carlos helped me out greatly. He was kind enough to walk me through several prices and sizes in order to fit my needs. He was also able to reserve me the storageblue pick up service for free because there was no u-hauls available. Carlos thank you so much. This place is great and very convenient.

I have been renting my storage unit for approximately 7 months and I have only received friendly, professional and accommodating service. When I first moved in Daniel and another Hispanic young male staff member assisted me moving my items in to the storage which I ended finishing faster than expected. I actually felt welcomed and very easy to work with the new Manager, Alicia inwhich she made me feel like I wanted to rent from Storage Blue for a long time. The storage building is an older style properly kept up and no complaints of rodents which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend anyone to rent without the hassle like other locations.

I am a tenant here since early this month, i havent had an issue with this company. I rarely visit this location since what i have stored in my unit is only season items. i recently went to storageblue to take out Thanksgiving decorations and I must say i am impressed. They have added security cameras and are always keeping the place clean. Carlos was kind enough to go over with me my account and brought me up to speed with company policy. Thanks Carlos!

Ive been a customer for many years, having different size units at different times. Personnel is really helpful and polite, and units are clean and great hours. Could use more lights in some areas directly into units, and not changing prices as much. All and all is convenient, close to my house, safe, clean and plenty of room.

StorageBlue is giving me the chance to open my store and have it stocked MONTHS before I even planned on opening it! The greatest thing is the monthly fee is so cheap I could pay this in advance and not even mess with my business funds.

I wrote a review of this company one year ago, but for some reason its gone.These people are stone-cold crooks. I have complained about them to the Better Business Bureau on three occasions, but their extortionist tactics continue. I have 30 years of professional work stored there and its a huge burden to move it.Basically, what they do is extort people out of money. Their online service never works so I cant pay my bills there. As others have mentioned, they dont pick up the phone so I cant pay my bills that way. And on at least four occasions I have gone there in the middle of the day to pay a bill and the office was closed although someone was sitting right there refusing to open the door.Then, they charge you $25 for a late fee when you have made innumerable attempts to pay on time. Then, they send you extortionist letters threatening to throw out your stuff if you dont pay the late fees. Then, they promise to refund the late fees -- after BBB pressured them -- if you pay early and then they dont refund the late fees. Totally crooked operation.And now theyre deleting my reviews. By the way, I have paid my bill three months early three or four times but they still wont remove the previous late fees.

Unairconditioned. You no longer can use the main elevator unless you are moving stuff in and out. The parking for the rear passenger elevator is nonexistent. And they recently closed the customer restroom. All this and their rates are still rising! Be like me and find a better storage facility.

Nice storage place

This location is all INDOOR storage. My unit had water coming in, my belongings were infested with mold, and they refused to pay for damages the insurance covers. They then threw everything out when they were supposed to inventory it, restore it and return wha COULD be restored and reimburse what couldnt.My late husbands items were in here along with precious family items and many more I had to replace. So after spending $250 a month for 15 months to get my things, everything was ruined and all my money paid for that.If you want your things to look like this... DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE!

Terrible management. the elevator was down for 1 week and no one really fixing it. We were not notified when we move out. So we ended up hand carrying all the boxes by walking step by step for 3 floors. Sure why would they care

Since becoming Storage Blue, weve had 3 rate increases. Most recently, they closed the front loading bay for re-paving. Sounds good right? No, I find out today during a low peak access time (M-F/2-4) the parking lot is being RENTED out. Not only are we paying more for storage, theres no place to load/unload between reserved spots and UHAULS. Go someplace else.

Never rent a Uhaul from here. Went to pick up my van today but they had overbooked so I had to find a way to get to another location. Had to cab over and wasted an hour with the extra travel. Nice staff, but was told this happens all the time when I was there. I was also charged for the extra mileage due to the alternate location. Never. Ever. Again.

Me and my unit will never part. The people here are always helpful and its always a good environment when I come in.

I rented a Uhaul and also bought storage from StorageBlue. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help (they called before my rental to let me know there wasnt an overnight key dropoff, to make sure I was ok with that). I needed storage as well, and that process was painless and easy. They have freight elevators so you just back up your vehicle to the elevator and carry your stuff 2-3 feet into the elevator, then use their carts to take it to your unit. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know who needs either a Uhaul or storage space.

I had storage for 6 months here and had no problems. The only inconvenience is that you have to sign in first, then drive around to get to the back entrance where the storage is.

First month free sign made me get in and i got an extra 20% off for the following month.Thank you!
