They have a brand new floor, the were fairly well stocked, and had 2 newer cashiers, so I was happy.

Wish I had taken pictures, the place is filthy, stuff all over the floor. The carpet is a petri dish for what ever you can imagine. Just need to pull it up. The employees are friendly, over worked and short staffed. Diffinetly upper management/corporate issues. I live in another state. This is the worst place Ive been in years.

I wasn’t greeted by anyone. The employees are upset about working all day and it shows to the customer. There are boxes everywhere which makes the store looks messy. They have equipment that belongs in the back out and that could cause an accident especially if a child decided to play around it. I brought soil and it was very wet as well. A lot of items are on the floor and overall my experience wasn’t a good one. But it’s a Dollar Tree, I didn’t expect much.

Find things I need every time but they need to clean the store. More than half the inventory is in boxes or on the ground. But quick registers.

The Dollar Tree on Cedar was not in good shape . Many things was missing. Maybe in the boxes. I hope to see better insides soon.

Believe it or not, the only thing this Dollar Tree had going for it was the one employee. He greeted people as they came in, assisted customers on finding things and told us hed be right back to ring us out. Im guessing hes expected to stick the shelves but theres no way with how many people come and go from that store this time of day. Five stars for the employee, 0 for management

Displayed hours online and on the storefront stated they closed at 8pm. Arrived at 7:15 and the door was locked and multiple people were waiting to shop. Not a way to build customer loyalty.

This dollar tree very junkie and just a mess for it to be in the heights. I over heard the manager tell a customer she couldnt return some picture frames she got from another location because they were broke. The customer said thats why she was returning them because when she opened them they were broken. Let me find out dollar tree selling bad merchandise and I cant even exchange or get my money back Im going all the way to corporate. Them dollars add up in that store just to throw away defective stuff.

Ummm...dont do it. Store needs a manager, employees trying to run this store without any help. I feel bad for them, they really are trying. There are boxes everywhere, unseasonal Christmas decor and unless you want to dig for your own items... just go to another Dollar Tree!

Unfortunately one of the worst Dollar Trees in the Greater Cleveland area. 90% of the time it looks as if the place had been raided, stuff strewn haphazardly all over the shelves and floors, and boxes of seasonal stuff everywhere (yet the place barely carries any of the useful staples you might actually need). Genuinely feels gross especially in covid times, just drive another 15min to a bigger Dollar Tree with better stock, maintenence and atmosphere.

Store was a mess - lots of bare and disorganized shelves, products strewn about on floor, hard to find what youre looking for.Cashier was very friendly.

Line was long. But the staff were friendly and they did their best to get everyone checked out quickly.

Awful place to go to. Things were a mess, atmosphere very uncomfortable. Staff was rude and didnt care to be there. Didnt have sign on the door saying they were out of helium for the balloons.

Its an ok store they cant keep juice drinks on the shelf...lol..overall a lil clutter, but thats the norm at these type of stores, location is fantastic

The shelves are never stocked and today I get here at 9:39am and they are closed, when it suppose to open at 9am.

Never had a bad experience with ANY Dollar Tree until I came to this one. The store is a complete mess, which I understand can be hard to keep up with just a few staff, but its pretty much impossible to find anything without noticing the mess or digging through stuff that doesnt belong. Also, the staff here have serious attitude issues and only acknowledge/act friendly towards people they know personally or their regulars. The difference in the conversation between the cashier and customer in front of me (obviously one of these regulars) and myself was just pathetic. I know this chain can do better because Ive been treated like a decent human at every other location Ive been to.

I have to say that this particular Dollar Tree at Cedar Center in University Heights was the cleanest Dollar Tree I have ever seen in my life. Anita the assistant manager did a fabulous job. Around Christmas I had gone up there and the place was destroyed looking and I swore I would never go back. But I have to tell everyone go there it is clean they have great merchandise lots of choices other than other dollar stores Ive seen. Just to go check out how clean it was is worth a visit. I would like to commend Anita for her amazing job and if I had the power to send her to every single Dollar Tree store to reorganize their stores just like the one that she did at her store I believe that the Dollar Tree would be more profitable!

Always a good buying time. Their stock is very good though the store may not be spic and span. That product is sold there with refills btw.

The store is not only disorganized, it’s filthy. On 10/3/20 @ appx 1130a, there were lots of empty shelves, miscellaneous pieces of merchandise laying on the floor of almost every aisle; trash on the floor; the carpeting was filthy. The employees don’t speak as you enter. Whomever manages the store should be fired and/or; the real estate company should terminate their lease and/or; the City of University Heights needs to cite them if possible.

Do not go to this Dollar Tree location. It’s junky with stuff scattered everywhere, Store didn’t have nothing I needed & the employee that ring my items up had an attitude.

Despite miscellaneous items being all over the floor the carpet was disgusting and I just had to leave out of the store. It was so gross to me, I didnt even buy anything, I couldnt find the exit quick enough!

If you need a basic item, like a hand mirror or a charging cable, this is really the place to go, because other places will charge you a few dollars for what costs them a few cents.DO come here for things like books or movies, which are often closeouts.DO NOT come here for food, unless its snacks.DO come here for party supplies like balloons, party favors, and decorations.DO NOT come here for cosmetics unless you want to get some throwaway stuff for kids to play with.DO come here for household plastic containers like small bins or baskets to put all those little things in that you need to keep sorted.DO NOT come here for quality toys. (Although things like dinosaurs do make good alternatives to candy for kids at Halloween, since some kids cant have candy. And some of the figurines are well made.)

Of course its the holiday season and their truck just arrived so there were some empty spots but thats too be expected during these times. They were all out of cake holders ( Thanksgiving tomorrow) and this was the second one I went to... The personnel on the floor was polite and helpful... The cashier was pleasant as well...

This Dollar Tree is not as big as some of the others I have been to. I can usually find what I need, though I like the better selection at larger stores. (Im often shopping for disposable party goods). This store seems a bit messy/dirty compared to others. Today there was a very long line at the register, and a second one was opened. That was nice!

This was the most unorganized store I have ever seen.

Store was out of stock of a lot of core items. Very crowded with only 2 cashiers and check out lines to the back of the store. I walked out.

We go to this location very frequently, I would say its one of the Top 2 in the area. Theyre usually stocked, staff usually nice, but need to tidy up a bit sometimes and have more than one register open.

I ride the bus and this store is the closest store, the most convenient store for me to go to. Its very frustrating when you are depending on this store to stock the items that you use, and then you have to get on another bus going somewhere else trying to find a Dollar Tree that has the items that you need. This store has major stocking issues. Its run very poorly. The carpet is filthy. I asked the cashier to double-bag my items because Im on the bus, and she just threw two extra bags at me. The customer service is very poor and whoever owns the store is just interested in getting the money they arent interested in your customer experience. I wont be coming here again unless some major changes are made.

The store itself has the best selection of items compared to the other Dollar Tree locations in the area, however the workers are rude and generally have poor customer service skills. In the future I will save myself the headache and go to a different Dollar Tree.

The only reason that I gave it any stars is because the business itself has great deals, sometimes. One of the employees there has one of the worst attitudes that I have ever witnessed.First off, my first time ever going to this store was a terrible experience. It was an item that I grabbed and I asked the cashier what was the price of it. She looked with an attitude and was like, You didnt see all the $1 signs around the whole store.It was unneccesary and it could have been stated better then that. After that, THANK GOD, I never really had to see her much, until today........So, I go to the ballon station and she is over there filling up ballons with helium. As I am grabbing it, she tells me that it is balloons on the other side of the store as if she did not want me in her space. Why does it matter where I grab my balloon. I politely continued picking out the balloons I wanted and continued my shopping. She is horrible and I hate that she has such a bad attitude. I am certainly going to find other Dollar Trees that value customer service, just to avoid this one (which is 2 minutes from my house).

This location in University Square was terrible, meaning the cleanliness of the store was poor, granted it is the holiday season and stores are crowded and customers are impatient as well as stores being understaffed at times....gave no excuse as to why the store had to look like that. There should be someone with a broom and dustpan around to help keep a tidy appearance. The shelves were sloppy while others were unorganized...I never been to that location before and will not be returning. One line was open even though it was spilling into the isles where people were shopping. Finally another one opended....they apparently need more help and a lesson on appearances and branding.

Typical Big City Dollar Tree. Manager Blake very helpful. General Staff hit and miss. Hard to find some items. Out of stock and picked over in places.

The manager here was just so rude to me. She told me to go to another line with an attitude. She mumbled something smart to another cashier. Ok. None of the lights are on so how am I supposed to know which register is open if no light is on? They all go in the office for a shift change I assume and there is a long line of customers waiting. I work in retail. You dont leave the floor with no cashier at the registers. Just rude. Ill go to another DT with better service next time.

Theres a lady with a lot of makeup who is rude everytime i go there. I will never return. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in my life by a cashier!!! Would give 0 stars if i could.

This one tends to be extra messy and is a bit smaller than others. They dont prioritize short checkout lines and yet this time have employees milling about doing nothing even when asked to open a line.

Great bargain shopping, I am always amazed at what you can get for a dollar.

I love dollar tree and the people are so nice.

This store has a very nice selection of items. Sometimes its difficult to find a parking space in the crowded parking lot.

This dollar tree is horrible. Its close to my home so unfortunately Im there often. Its only has 1 line that will be open. Half of the stock is in boxes so you have to leave your cart somewhere else and keep walking your items to it. If not then your cart will prevent someone from walking down the aisle with you. The managers talk to their staff in disrespectful ways also in front of customers.

The store was very dirty and disorganized. I find this to always be true of the particular Dollar Tree. The cashier was very nice which is why I rated 2 star.

The location on Cedar is always low on items and the store is never organized...it seems understaffed. The location in Golden Gate is excellent, organized and the shelves are stocked!

Easter Eve. I saw at LEAST 4-5 employees. HOWEVER there was only 1 line open. Having a line down 1 isle and around another. UNACCEPTABLE.... BAD attitudes as well shame on you

They just didnt have the medical mask I always buy, I been to all of the Dollar Tree in my neighborhood none of them had them. But I got everything else I needed.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the shelves were empty and check-out was unusually slow.

Everything is a dollar. Really like dollar tree.
