This place is magic, and is the reason that I return things! Stop driving to FedEx and the post office and UPS, just go here instead for a one-stop-shop. They can handle all your shipping and post office needs and they’re insanely nice and quick. Highly recommend!

I have been meaning to write this review for months! The owners, Brandon and Brittany are amazing! We needed to have several boxes of family heirlooms, mostly sentimental in value, packed and shipped to us from Tacoma to California. Each item arrived safely and were packed lovingly with careful attention by the owners. Great communication throughout the process and we are so grateful to have found The Mail Room. You can trust this place to give you great service and value!

Super fast and very kind! Get all my Fax sending and receiving done here. I can spend over $150 to receive a Fax elsewhere (aka UPS, etc.)! However, here they cap it at $10-$20 for a large Fax. You can beat this local business. They help you save money and are very reliable. Package shipping is great and they have cool little trinkets to buy. I never post reviews but they have literally saved me hundreds of dollars. Go here people! Save money and get great service. So glad I found them.

I went across town because their social media made you feel this place was more than just a mailing and packing business and it was not wrong. On top of having the best customer service and putting a little warmth in the postal system (didnt know that was possible!) They also had a ton of local small business gift items from West Coast Laser, some self defense items, cute stickers and the most fun socks I could have blown a house payment on. I will never go to the post office or UPS store again if I dont have too! Thanks for making my Christmas shipping painless and actually enjoyable!

A life saver. Our packages kept getting stolen, so we looked into this place. It’s a shame we had to drop the money for a box, but I’m glad we did.The staff are super friendly, and I’ve yet to have an issue receiving my packages. The guy that’s always decked out in gaming hats/pins was incredibly helpful getting us signed up.I only wish they had slightly more extended hours, but we make it work.
Super friendly owners & the most darling black lab mix. There seemed to be a lot of cute merchandise, socks, and other things. I was in a bit of a hurry, but there’s always times to play a little with a dog. He’s got the cutest personality. Love that he’s their logo. The branding is great.

The Mail Room staff is absolutely amazing! I had a cocktail table that needed to be sent to Atlanta. The table has been in my family for over 50 years. The staff assured me that they would do their best to get it there without damage. The packaging was meticulously done like a work of art! The table made it to Atlanta without a scratch. Weve had our mail delivered at The Mail Room for many years and cant say enough good things about it. The original owners were excellent and, when they decided to finally retire about a year ago, they found an equally great couple to sell to. The new owners have updated the look and feel of the establishment and are at least as helpful as the original owners. They always pleasant and go out of their way to be pleasant and to give excellent service!
I love this place. I get all my packages delivered there and never have to worry about anything being stolen from my front doorstep, or waiting for UPS or FedEx to show up whenever they feel inclined. Best of all are Brandon and Britt. Unfailingly friendly and helpful, they understand the true meaning of customer service - kind, helpful, always cheerful - like friends really....

I love coming here versus the post office because of the speedy service and reliable shipping, including overseas to APO addresses. Their prices are great and they ship using all the major carriers! My first experience at The Mail Room was simply dropping off a return package that didn’t need postage...Brandon was super friendly & upbeat w/o making me feel uncomfortable...I dropped many of those packages off before realizing that it would be in my best interest to open a mail box as I was moving and it would not only be so very convenient, but I wouldn’t have to worry about any of my packages being left at my front door & possibly be stolen fwhen I wasn’t home like we, unfortunately, are seeing more & more all the time.I have bought gifts from their large assortment of really cool items that I haven’t seen anywhere else & they take care of all of my “mailing” needs from USPS to FedEx to UPS & More!Brandon & Brit make everyone feel like family—They are not only genuine, but they are as good as they come & I love supporting such awesome people that live in our community! I was trying to find the best way to ship internationally on a budget. I called ahead of time and they gave excellent customer service over the phone. I went there later and they were extremely helping in finding the best shipping option for me.
I love The Mail Room! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and you cant beat the prices! You can ship several different ways and shop for cute gifts at the same time. I will never go anywhere else to ship but here!
My first time in The Mail Room was a few days ago. UPS notified me of an early delivery and instead of paying $5 for pushing the delivery back, I chose to pick it up at The Mail Room. Wow! What a cool place! The window is awesome, the little gifts and cards have a local artist feeling, the Coke machine is cool, and the owners and pup are awesome. Im sure Ill be back at some point!(Im usually quite cheap but I picked up a bottle of hand sanitizer that has a cat saying Thanks for scooping my poop. Literally the best $5 Ive ever spent!)

I have a private mailbox here, would highly recommend. Great prices, under new ownership. Brandon is outstanding and remembers your name. You can get all your packages shipped here as well for no extra charge. The vibe is totally corky Tacoma which I love. Great sense of community. Really look forward to going and getting my mail. Went in to mail some Christmas presents. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Based upon suggestions saved me some money on shipping costs. Plan to come back for all my mailing/Shipping needs. Better than the Post Office and UPS store.
I have used the mail room before the new ownership and liked it. I recently needed to mail a package, couldnt find anywhere with the right box. The new owner basically made a box to fit my package and gave us a lot of options! Very pleased will always ship through them from now on.
This is Tacomas best packing and shipping service. Brandon is a Rock Star! The Mail room has the best and most cost effective solutions for your packing and shipping needs. I once stopped in 5 minutes before closing time with a unique and fragile item that had to be shipped that night. Brandon stayed open in order to pack and prepare the item doing the best preparation job I have seen for a fragile item. His rates are much lower that other shippers and the customer service is heads and shoulders above his competition. I ship 3-4 items per week and the Mail Room is where I will come for all of my packing and shipping needs. Thanks Brandon!

Been a customer for 2 years now, and Never have i had a bad experience. And tobe frank, i am a Karen, ready to complain at the drop of a hat. My favorite part?? Sometimes they have the doggo behind the counter. I dont usually like dogs, but one look into this puppers eyes will have you donating to local shelters faster then a Sarah mclachlan song. Keep on, keeping on, good people. The take away here, is that i am not a happy person, this place always brings a smile to my face, and the humans that work here arent bad either.
DHL can be a pain if you need a signature! Have it dropped off here! Sign and go! I have also done basic stamp purchase and mailing here. Very professional and curtious.
