The BEST firearms retailer/gunsmith in the Great Lakes region. I’m a wheelchair bound, former Marine. The staff was remarkably welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgable. These guys know their stuff. I needed a muzzle device swapped out and expected to leave the weapon awhile. The lads at Copper Custom did the job on the spot and DIDN’T CHARGE ME! These guys know how to make lifelong customers—as I’ll certainly be doing a great deal of future firearms business with them. I was so happy, I used the cash I’d expected to spend on the muzzle device swap to buy ammunition—which Copper Customs actually has! Its easy an easy choice for me, if Sportsmans Warehouse doesnt have what I need, its worth the 2 hour drive down to Valparaiso to visit and see if they can help me at Copper Custom. Always friendly, never price gouges, great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Of course the market determines prices and they are always as low as the market allows, it is a business and they must make money to survive and to allow the community to thrive. At first I was hearing nothing but good things about this place. My dad found a pistol he wanted and had been looking for. We went in together to purchase the gun and they tell us that they cant sell us the gun. NOT to mention that my dad got the gun somewhere else but for $200 cheaper. Just a laughing joke when the salesman told us they dont make a lot of profit and upcharge prices on guns. They do have a good selection on guns but inventory doesnt matter when you treat customers like they dont belong there.

First I was very apprehensive about the recent reviews regarding this vendor. I took a chance with them because I have been trying to get my hands on a SW 4006 TSW for months. I paid like $550 for the firearm, it might be steep but it’s simply due to the now very limited supply available. The customer experience I received from Copper Custom was top notch. This was my first time purchasing a gun online to be sent to a local FFL so I wasn’t familiar with the process. Based of my recollection I spoke to 2 gentleman and I believe their names were Jason and Patrick. Not only was my order processed, shipped and delivered expeditiously, they were patient with me in explaining the process even though I called them on a daily basis 😂. While I cannot speak for others, the experience I received from this business will surely make me a repeat customer in the future. Nice job, I was very surprised with the ease of reaching the right people through the call in service dial tree. No waiting, was always directed to the right person.

First time I walked into Copper Custom was to pick up a transfer as it is hard to fing a dedicated 9mm lower. Transfer was $25, which is a good price compared to $50 in other shops. CC seemed to have a good number of weapons for sale at market value. Barrett M107A1 with a NightForce optic, $10k, to be expected. Used Remington 870 .410, $379 not bad. Etc, etc. Padraig who helped me was very knowledgeable and was great to deal with. Good shop, will be returning for my future purchases.

Walked into this place scared to death! Was so impressed with the guys in there. I am now a gun owner, have my carry permit and have taken several classes which I don’t think I would have ever gotten that far without these guys. Other stores that I went to I felt like the only thing they cared about was selling me a gun. This place was different!

Awesome place to do business. Ive been in there a few times, and every time the staff has been friendly and helpful. Got to meet MAC, which was cool, and even got a shop tour by David (dont go in expecting that unless youve worked on one of his cars like I had). Prices are fair, if youre offended by paying a couple bucks over a big corporate owned store or some online distributor, then youre missing the point of small business. I will continue to be a customer any time the funds allow!

I am a F/T sworn Law Enforcement Officer in New York State and as such, I am exempt from certain provisions of NYS law, including the ban on high capacity magazines. I recently purchased a CHP 4006TSW from Copper Custom Armament and paid the full price plus shipping to my local FFL, where I am P/T employed. When the gun arrived without the three magazines I contacted CS and was advised that they do not ship standard capacity magazines to NYS (in this case 11 round mags.) I provided my LE credentials as well as proof of employment and was told that ne exception would be made. When I suggested that the store policy should be made more obvious to potential buyers and that I felt I should at least be credited for the three mags, their reply was, There is a box that has to be checked that states you agree with all of our store policies and terms while you are checking out on the website. If you are not happy with the end product, you are still within your return window and you can return the item for a refund less 10% and shipping. Hell of a way to do business and to provide Customer Service.Beware of doing business with Copper Custom Armament!

TIM @ Military Arms Channel is such a cry baby, that he cant take criticism. Loves to ban people on Instagram and Facebook. Loves to complain about how people are price gouging at gunbroker. But is such a hypocrite, when it comes to him, it is perfectly fine to price gouge and double, triple his money. and use feel good words like market will decide the worth. Recently he bought 100 SVD from trident LLC at price of $4000 in attempt to sell them at profit to quadruple his money by selling them at GB but was caught by the community. Game ON !

I cant say enough about this place. This is the only gun store I have gone in where the salesman didnt make me feel like I was bothering him by asking questions. I got thr ammo I needed and discovered that a glock 43x is the gun I should be carrying rather then my glock 19. Great place.

Copper Custom is what most gun shops aspire to be. They provide high end equipment a fair labor rate and best of all SOLID customer service. Ive only purchased 2 firearms from them but each time they were accommodating and informative.

These guys sold me an Inforce rifle light the other day without letting me know that the box had been previously opened. I was okay with it when I found out later that day, however a piece of it broke off earlier, about a 2 or 3 days later without any shooting with it mounted, I brought it back stating that it had been opened and now something had broken. They wouldn’t do an exchange or a return. Told me go to the manufacturer. 1/10. They won’t get my business again. I felt that it was truthfully pretty scummy.

Went to purchase a CZ Scorpion today. new facility is kick ass. Everyone there was so helpful and you can tell they are genuinely exited to be doing what they do. Nothing on the shelve in the model that i wanted but will arrive in no time and no problem waiting. talked me though a lot of points and got to hold Tims that he had in the car. Great shop! Very good selection of ARs and AKs, and they have various brands and calipers of pistols and their prices are very reasonable. They carry a wide selection of ammunition from small boxes to bulk. I just visited for the first time, and was very impressed! If you own and carry or just target shoot, I recommend stopping here first before anywhere else. The guys who work the shop are very helpful and polite and seemed very knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back soon, I think I just found my new gun favorite shop!
