Tola Angkor market offers a surprisingly large selection of both packaged and fresh Asian foods and goods, including produce, meats, dry goods, as well as cooking supplies. Staff was friendly and allowed me to purchase an unopened overstock box at a discount. Prices are very fair, cheaper than you will find elsewhere nearby.
This is a great market. They have everything. This Market is packed full of just about everything you would need Grimm food to kitchen dishes and pots and pans. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff are pretty helpful.
Its incredibly tight quarters but I can see why. A lot of great products to try and it was clear from the lady who helped me with choosing some accoutrements specific brands are better quality. I will return and am blessed they are close to my home.
Great selection. We learned to make our own bubble tea and Thai iced tea and they carry the ingredients!
I have frequented this place since I moved here. I enjoy that they have such a great selection of items to explore. There is always something exotic and rare to try. It is always pleasant and zen like.
Its a good shop. I feel it lacks a little in the meat and veggies department, but it has most of the dry goods, cans, and candies
I stopped by, hoping to find real rice wine and generally more authentic asian products not available elsewhere. There is a plethora of rice noodle types and shapes so Im happy for that. Canned foods, vinegars, oils and such are the corn syrup layden junk you can find anywhere. They do carry squash I never saw elsewhere and it was delicious. There are also many types of fish. The market is a good place for finding fresh veg...some harder to find stuff, rice noodles and fish. Staple, shelf items are a letdown.
Great emporium for all things SE Asian. Decent array of fresh veggies (Get your fresh Lemon Grass and Curry Leaves here!) Fabulous selection of canned goods and Asian sauces of all kinds. Sweets of every kind from various Asian countries. Very helpful staff Go!
A little cramped, but thats not anything they can really control. The prices are great, and so is the selection! The staff was friendly, it was clean, and the products we bought taste amazing!
Was great. So many items to choose from. YUM 😋
This was my first asian market experience. They had almost everything that was on my list. The employees were quite helpful.
I was hoping to find more Japanese products as many products are Thai and Chinese focused.
Go-too store for fresh produce.
For a big Asian Market they dont carry staple ingredients for Asian dishes... When you ask a question they roll their eyes as if you are bothering them and are very rude!
They have great selections of soy sauce and sesame oil. I got the big bottle of Aloha Shoyu
My daughter loves this place, shes very into 2 minute noodles (the spicier the better) and they definitely have plenty of those. I like being able to explore new foods (and many familiar ones). The pork sticky buns are so good! I can also get some of the harder to find ingredients for the perfect hot and sour soup or some lo mein. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.
Crowded little grocery with great selection of products from across Asia, stuffed into high shelves, corners, basically anywhere you can look, theres something to see. Small set of lunch/snack options, including pork hum bao-style buns, Hawaiian donuts (delicious greasy balls of dough rolled in granulated white sugar) and more. We came on Thanksgiving afternoon and the selection was understandably pretty light, I think we got the last donut. Left with a giant plastic bag of specialty products I probably couldnt find anywhere else in the area for less than $25. If I lived in the area, Id be a regular here.
This Again market is my favourite in Vancouver. They almost always have everything I need and so many snacks.. seriously, so many snacks.
The ladies there always so friendly
Really great unique items to be found here. We love coming here for a treat. Sticky buns are THE BEST.
Nice Asian market. Lots of options. I was hoping that it was specifically Cambodian based on the name, but that was not the case.
They had almost everything I wanted. Everything are in good quality! This area doesn’t have much Asian grocery stores so this store is really great stores!
Enjoy the selection vegetables, and fresh different chicken items like chicken feet, hearts, various items.
Great service, good prices, kinda cramped though.
Nice little store, staff is always friendly. Has a good variety despite being limited in space.
A good mix of lots of things. Missing things I used to have at the asian market near my last house. Lots of sauces to choose from but no gyoza dipping sauce. Big frozen section and some fresh vegetables including basil. You can also buy basil in bulk if you ask.
Always love coming here as it is one of the closest asian/islander store
Decent selection for the size of the store. Some lady working there was kicking boxes across the floor to move them and kicked one into my foot, but didnt bother to apologize or acknowledge her mistake.Cashier was nice enough though.
Very stocked store. Found exactly what I needed. I made the mistake of using the hand sanitizer located by the credit card terminal. Once I removed my mask in the car it was clear that the sanitizer was cut with perfume as Ive washed my hands four times, scrubbing, with super hot water only to still smell like an Avon lady....
Great atmosphere and options. A little scrunched up aisles, but its because they have so many options. I will probably go there often.
Always find the best snacks here!
It was different kind of a cultural experience.
Interesting Asian food more popular Asian ethnic groups
Good variety of food items and several brands of the same items to be able to find the highest quality. This is the only store I know which stocks my favorite fresh tasting crab paste. I shop at this store often, although a Thai market in NE Portland beats them on price for other items.
Large inventory and low prices. Friendly staff as well
Great selection of desserts on Saturday morning. Great people.
Small but they almost have everything
Found a lot of hard to find spices.
Just found this store and was surprised with their selection
Good place but not the greatest, lots of empty shelves and few items has mold growing,.need to bring more fish and chicken
Everything you need for Asian cooking plus a few other international finds! Always well stocked...busy so you know it’s fresh!
Pretty good selection of SE Asian goods
They have so much amazing stuff! We go in for one thing and always discover new things we have to try! Awesome place!
Great selection of Oriental foods, have now started selling their version of Japanese bread.
This market has a great selection of Asian food at low prices. The staff is helpful and friendly and they always have what I need. Be sure to get a barbecue pork bao and some fresh noodles at the register on your way out!
Now that Im cooking Asian food one of my favorite stops!
It was nice and clean smelling market. I will shop there again
Love the variety..
Nice little store, good bao, a little of everything. Everything except ramune drinks and shrimp chips. They mustve been out of stock or something. Will come again.
Small variety of tea.Large store, more like a warehouse.
They’ve got cool stuff here. Fresh noodles. Cheap coconut water. Diverse pocky flavors. Rice seasoning. Spicy garlic sauce. Frozen seafood. Mochi ice cream. Fresh veggies. Wild mushrooms.
Great choices of asian food products!
They have a lot of stuff, but customer service is lacking a bit.
Got all the stuff I need to make my favorite dishes my mom and dad use to make!
I really like this place! This is a great place to stock up on Asian food for great prices! I buy my wonton wrappers and authentic sweet chili sauce here. I know several others who buy produce and other basics here because the prices are better than Fred Meyer. The owners have great customer service.
The aisles are a bit of a tight fit, but the selection is good. The man I spoke with today (while I was trying to find an item) was polite, nice, & helpful. I would recommend them for many things you might not find at the usual shops.
They are not as good anymore compared to when they first open.
Very interesting market. They have almost everything. They also have little hot snacks too which is awesome!
Omg! So happy to discover this Asian market and its so close by the house too! It had everything I needed and for a really great price! Ill be coming here often for sure! The lady at the register was very nice. Employees were busy stocking the shelves. I love this store!
So much variety as well as great prices
Get some random ingredients because you need them and youre awesome
Fast and easy for people living in the area. It is the only asian grocery store around.
Absolutely wonderful market. The people are friendly and helpful the selection of goods is absolutely out of this world. The prices are extremely good. I dont think of them is just an Asian market. I tried making things like Italian food from Asian products and it was a real treat. Also they have these wonderful razor sharp little kitchen knives that I just really miss I wish I could get them where I live now. I guess Im going to have to move back to Vancouver. I miss this place
Very nice
This was my first visit to the Tola Angkor Asian Market. I found the staff to be friendly and courteous, and helpful when I needed help - otherwise I was able to leisurely browse through the store. Everything was easy to find and I was particularly pleased with their fresh produce, both in quality and price. This little gem of a store does not have a lot of room to maneuver past people in the aisles. That is the only negative thing that I can say about this place. I will recommend this store to my friends and family.
Has some of the Asian food I miss or use for cooking.
Nice clean market. Seems to have wide selection of asian and some typical islander foods. Produce looked fresh. Disappointed with the banana chips that were homemade they are slightly sweet & I like mine savory/salty.
I like it bcoz a lot filipino foods to shop.
Small, so social distancing was tough. That being said, they have a great selection and staff was awesome
Great store .
Great selection of Asian food especially food that I miss cooking back home in Hawaii. Well stock on items each time I go. Suggest can you bring in dynastys chow funn noodles😁
Great selection of food, everyone was nice and friendly and helpful.. look forward to going back soon..
Great little store that has a good variety of fresh and frozen meats. For Asian cooking ingredients its the best in my city.
Hum bo and fresh rice noodels
Friendly staff, and a great selection
One day I bought a package of cake, when I got home and opened it to eat it was oily and not crunchy like I used to eat. I went to the market to exchange for another package, the owner said that because I opened it, I couldnt change it, I didnt open it, how can I eat? How do I know if the cake is broken ??? so funny !
This unique grocery store is a little dank but has the most wonderful finds. I stop here often for my familys favorites.
Always a great place for a quick in-and-out to get the things that you may need
Not bad good people
Great place for vegetables and riceNoodles
I enjoy the products. Coconut milk is my go-to. The store has an excellent variety. Then I look over the produce. It always looks quite fresh. One time, I brought cupboard beetles home from there. I learned that they are common. They were quite difficult to remove from my home. I now immediately place all product in the refrigerator in case more come home with me; canned goods and and even boxed items. The store is worth the possible infestation.
Kinda small store but able to find everything I need. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming to the store to get the things I need without having to drive all the way to Portland.
You want good quality import food? Come here. Its got to be the best place in town, also if you are hungry get some of the fresh hum bao they make.
Ok
I dont seems to find help in that store, when Im trying to look for certain things. I go there because its in my area.
I frequent this Asian market fairly often. The staff is always friendly and the store is pretty well stocked for its size. The only issue I have found is that the fresh produce is often rotten which is a big turn off. It isnt the specialty produce but the staples like oranges, apples and onions. The shallots were molding last I was there on Monday. However if you require specialty items they are usually in beautiful condition.
My go to grocery store when I need anything that I cant get at the grocery next to my house. Great selection of canned goods, sauces, frozen foods, and produce. Employees are always friendly and have answered my questions about where things are. Great small grocer!
I really like this market. Great Asian store with many things you might look for at a traditional store. Great variety of spices, hot sauces, coconut milk and noodles. We stop in and get things for a specific dinner. The staff is helpful and good prices.
Ample parking. Great selections. Hot foods available.
Good store
Has a variety a ready to eat and ingredients to make asian meals. Staff are friendly and helpful. This store is a hidden gem. One of my favorite places to visit 😋
Been going to this market for about 4 years, didnt pay much attention to it when I first moved here but soon enough checked it out, and I dont regret it, I do have to say, if you are weak to strong odors you may not like the smell of the place as they use very strong incense on occasions. Staff are friendly and although some of their English is a bit poor and sometimes hard to understand it doesnt bother me at all. The food they have in store here is great and I recommend checking it out if you enjoy seafood too as they have a pretty big selection.
Super great selection and very friendly service. Fresh Bao buns!
Best Asian store around Orchards / Four Corners area. Theyre not as big as the ones in Portland but they have most things you need or want for cooking alot of your Asian dishes. They changed owners in the last couple of years or so and arent as friendly as the prior owners.
Great place to come for asian spices & fruits/veggies you cant find in the typical stateside markets. Located in a little strip mall so parking is pretty ample, they could do better with organizing the products but all in all its 1 of my go to places .
