I bought a battery at the vandalia location that was still under warranty that was showing acid build up on the negative terminal. Tony moody greeted and assisted imediately when Icame into the store. He tested the battery and determined it was faulty. I was able to get a replacement with a partial discount. He also assisted me to remove and replace the battery. He was pleasant efficient and very knowledgable. I was extremely greatful for the needed help and great service.
Went here and bought an air compressor, it didnt work very well and was faulty and I had no problem taking it back as it failed to meet the air pressure that was stated on the box. The person behind the counter said they had trouble with that one Im kind of wondering why they didnt say that when I bought it.
Absolutely terrible. I went in to get everything for my brakes and they gave me the wrong parts as well as not everything I paid for. I am NEVER going to Auto Zone again. The worst part is it was the Manager!!
Check out the females in this place. Literally had two male associates just walk past me without even acknowledging I was standing in the store. No nod, avoided eye contact, after the one walked past me twice even I even pushed into his path to try and force an encounter, and nothing. Ive left places for less, if they dont want my money or my business Im sure the place down the street will, and right when I was getting that its time to walk vibe. This very helpful and knowledgeable female associates approached me. She got me the help, part and advice I needed. Id dont put names in reviews because staff changes and reviews linger but Im very tempted just so she gets the acknowledgment. She was the only reason they got my money that day.
Needed to replace my break light last minute and they were super helpful with how to fix it and what I needed.
Had the batteries we needed, auto & garden
Friendly helpful people there
This used to be the only store where i got auto parts. They have changed personnel and the new people simply are not focused on the customer. I used to enjoy seeing Karen and Phil and they bent over backwards to help the home auto mechanic. I tried to return a product that had not even been opened and was forced to settle for a store credit instead of a refund. I just used that store credit to say goodbye to this autozone and will now shop down the street.
I went into AutoZone to check out my battery in my car because I had been told that it was going bad. A technician came out. Checked the car. And sure enough I needed a new battery. And thank God they had a military discount so my costs would not be overwhelming.
I use auto zone exclusively because they are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. The AutoZone team has replaced bulbs and batteries for me, saving me time and extra costs. I will continue to shop Vandalia’s AutoZone.Karen is an outstanding representative of the company and quite a mechanic.
Autozone: at least it aint NAPA
Three employees were not wearing masks. Not only that, the female cashier rang me up with no mask on.
Went in Saturday and the manger of the store (so she said she was) was incredibly rude. She wasnt listing to me (or didnt care...or both) and had a extremely rude tone. When asked of she could use the system to verify a particular tool size she said it wasnt possible. I thought fine, no problem and moved on. So, she walked over to another counter and came back, rudely tossed a plastic sheet with loaner tools on the counter and stood there in silence for a moment. I said I dont need to rent a tool I was just hoping to verify the right size tool on a break part. She also had two young kids running around the stock room area which I presume to be hers (very dangerous)I reached out to the AutoZone regional office but couldnt speak to anyone. Likely due to holiday. I will be following up with them as I am angry that an employee treated me like trash and as if I was an inconvenience to her.A member of management represents the company and while this, in my opinion isnt necessarily a reflection on AutoZone, it is a poor reflection on the location/store.I will shop at other AutoZone stores but not this one, Solely because of her. Ill be going to OReillys Auto parts across the street.
Very good customer service 👍
Did an agnostic test to check battery & system, its Free! Thx friendly crew.
Easy shopping
They had the obscure fuse for my interior car lights!!!
My man Duke of Earl best salesman out of the whole chain
Love this store! Caryn has been so helpful over the past few years. Employees like this keep me loyal to Autozone! Best Autozone store I visit!!
Staff was helpful and friendly. Had everything I needed at a reasonable price.
Very helpful reading reading engine code and finding the right part
Very nice staff. Helpful and quick trip!
I went in knowing what I needed, got the parts quickly, and got very friendly service while it happened.
Do not shop at this autozone in Vandalia, OH. Every time I go in the managers are rude and act like they don’t see you. Poor customer service and very rude employees.
The owner was very helpful and savvy and he referred us to the Muffler Brothers who also have us great service!!
Great sales associates, very helpful. Will definitely use this location again
Caryn and Sherlonne treat me with great service every time I come in to get a part for my ford :)
They are pretty good and much cheaper than the dealer. I was surprised at how much they carry and the rent a tool. What a great idea.
I use the Vandalia Autozone for much of my vehicle needs and everyone is always incredibly helpful. Caryn, the commercial manager, has my parts ready for pickup or delivered me in impressive time.
They were quick and knowledgeable about what I needed!
Dylan was awesome. I was away from home and I needed my battery replaced in my car on a Sunday afternoon and they took care of it. I highly recommend this AutoZone.
My battery was dead. The clerk got me a new one and even installed it. Great service.
Good prices and friendly knowledgeable assistance.
Joseph the parts manager was so helpful in assisting my husband with changing my car’s alternator! Helped give us the tools to do so since we were away from home when it went out.
Benjamin Masters helped us with all our needs after our local Autozone gave us the wrong parts. He quickly exchanged them, got us what we needed and more. He was also very personable. Think I will travel the distance to go here from now on instead of the one on Salem in Trotwood.
You do your own repairs, get your parts near, get your parts here.
Plenty of people behind the counter to help.
I like this store, very clean and cool, its big and has plenty of space, employees are very nice, thank you
They always have the part you need, but if they dont and another store does they will have sent to them for you.
Generally I go to autozone if I need parts for any of my vehicles but I recently went to this store with the intention of buying a battery for my daily driver and had them do some additional testing to verify. But the guy that attempted, had long dark hair, to help did exactly opposite. Issues i had was hard to start but once it started there were no issues which is a classic battery issue. I went there and told him the issue and he told me it sounds more like an alternator issue. Saying that the battery has the correct voltage but didnt bother to test it for bad cells or any other issues. Then told me that the car starts off the alternator and runs off battery(wrong!) then proceeded to look up alternators for me even though i was insistent it was a battery issue. Decided to go somewhere else and got a new battery at a different store. Problem fixed. The other employees Ive dealt with are generally good people and willing to help.
I was having some battery issues with a battery that I bought them back in June of last year they had a special order because they didnt carry this brand of battery and they were so helpful put the battery on a charger and then they test the battery and they said it was bad it wouldnt hold so I had them to call the battery company that produced the battery explain to him what he had found out so thanks for the great service and the help the company agreed to send me a new battery at no cost to me thank you thank you and this store is located in Vandalia Ohio
Had good knowledge about the correct u joints I needed for my Jeep...
They were awesome. We were stranded at the flying js in are semi and first thought we figured out the part and he rushed it right over to us . It wasnt the right one he got us the number to the closest dealership. Then we needed a couple tools to do the job. And both times they were there in like 5 mins. Thank you so much for your help very much appreciated.
Okay prices for a parts store but not to many experienced auto mechanics available to help you truly out but more of a auto parts salesman more than anything else.
Great counter people and clean store. They’re helpful and nice.
Great customer service
Terrible. Needed help with windshield wipers, pointed me to the isle that was all. Didnt realize they came separate I figured 2 would come in a pack, (my fault) . Customer service did not even mention it at checkout and would not help me put the wipers on because it was raining outside. Needless to say Ill go to a different location for the other wiper I didnt get
We shope here a lot but the lady manager who helped us this last time was awesome
Decent products decent prices decent people
I was running late to work but my A/C was not working. I assumed and hoped it was low on anti freeze. Its an hour long drive to work so not having it sucks so i tried to squeeze this fix in.Phil whitehair was very efficient. Showed me where my antifreeze was supposed to go and pointed out how the A/C was not engauging the belt correctly because it was pushing back and out the sides of the cans nozzel. Very effictive troubleshoot and teaching moment.
Best auto zone around, Phil the manager knows his stuff.
Great pretty girl works there
Employees not knowledgeable at all period.
Convenient, good service, had part needed.
The right part, the right price, and knowledgeable crew
Amazing place! Everytime I go there I get the help I need.
In this store on 11/11 and they were playing hard rock music so loud sometimes it was hard to hear what someone was saying. Think I will go elseehere.
