Always great. I am surprised Google maps didnt recognize my past visits. Thank you!
Excellent marina with excellent service, and an on-site restaurant.
Nice location. Convenient to the Intercoastal and the Gulf. Staff are friendly and helpful! If you need maintenance they are a full service marina. The Salty Dog is dog friendly and has a nice outdoor area overlooking the marina, food is Americana, with seafood mixed in...the Grouper Sandwich is generous and well prepared. Add them to your list for good food and great people!
Efficient and fast service. All staff friendly and efficient. Great place to dock and maintain a boat
Thanks to Tim Blanchard and chris shanabrook. They made my buying experience so easy. Tim went above and beyond to find me a great trailer and even took it to get it serviced for me since I wasn’t local. Chris was very patient with all our finance questions. I’d recommend marine max Venice to anyone looking to purchase a new or used boat. We had dealt with a lot of shady dishonest brokers and sellers before we met Tim, and he was really great to work with.
THANK YOU!!PETE ROSE AND HIS STAFF ARE JUST PURE PROSQUALITY WORK, TIMELY MATTER,WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE,...HAD A PROBLEM NOT RELATED TO THE WORK DONE! DOESNT MATTER THEY STILL HELPED ME AND LET ME EVEN BORROW A PROP UNTIL MINE IS FIXED!!!! GOOD PEOPLE!!!THANKS AGAIN GUYS 💪

Very nice marina.
Great place and the whole crew is superb
Pete, the service manager, has always been extremely professional and made my experiences with service awesome. Hes tech smart and a very good people person. He runs a wonderful service department. If you ever have a service question, ask Pete. As always, Ill keep bringing my Sea Ray back to Marine Max Venice!
Recently we requested to dry dock for a few hours to clean the bottom of our boat. I was referred to Lori the dock master and she was more than accommodating and polit . When I arrived at the fuel dock I filled up and told the dock mate Mike that I had set up an appointment with Lori. He immediately got with the lift people and had me sitting on the dry in five minute . The lift people were kind enough to loan us gloves and a roller chair to sit o . All went well and when done back in the water 5 minutes late . 1st class operation
Not sure what boats are for sell and whats not.. Lot of of older boats that are dirty
I recently purchased a Boston Whaler from product expert, Jake Brandenberger. Jake was able to far exceed my expectations both on product and service. Hands down, the best buying experience I’ve had in a while. Few service interactions after the purchase were efficient and professional as well. Thank you, Marine Max Venice!
Great little marina where you can buy a boat, lease a boat or store your boat. (You can also get a wonderful plate of food at the Old Salty Dog restaurant nearby!)
Great experience. Lori and everyone at the marina we’re very friendly and accommodating.
Great place, great service, great people !
Love this place people that work there great people care about your boat
The buying experience of my new 2017 Sea Ray Sundancer 400 was exceptional! From the time I met Tim Cobb at the Sarasota boat show through delivery, he was 100% patient, knowledgeable and certainly worked for me as the client. He made himself available 24/7 with any questions that I had had. Tim has boating in his blood.Marine Max Venice went above and beyond my expectations, and my boat left their yard with every item necessary to be able to cruise from day oneI most certainly recommend Marine Max Venice as well as Tim
Stopped into the Venice Marine Max to show our friends where we bought our new Searay, as we were docking the forklift driver confronted us and informed us that we could NOT dock our boat because they were too busy with other boats and had no room. Basically kicked us out. Again we wanted to show our friends the selection of available boats, and view the facility. Apparently once you buy a new boat from Marine Max certain employees (Brutus the forklift driver) no longer treat you as a preferred customer. We were very disappointed on our approach (and embarrassed with our guests)This experience may have cost Marine Max a future sale....however that particular employee should be trained in customer service. Wont obtain repeat business with that kind of attitude. When we originally took delivery of our SeaRay the salesman said we were always welcome and had docking preference. (?)
I have had problems with Marine Max from the moment we bought our boat. As much as I have had to deal with them I can tell you that None of the departments communicate, its obvious there is some division between departments. I will say the manager helped me with my first huge problem. The manager had to give us a new salesperson since the first one couldnt do his job properly and sold us the wrong trailer for our boat. We tried to tell the salesman several times but he didnt help. Next, we paid for a simrad to get installed. The technician did not zip tie the dangling cords from underneath the steering wheel. As soon as we took the boat out, it was not working correctly, cutting in and out of power. We took it back in and they said We needed to pay for new box. which is hanging upside down with several cables hanging from it which obviously, with gravity and hitting waves, the cords pulled the box down. The technician could of told us we needed a new one when he was installing it OR maybe have just installed it right, zipptieing the cords up so it doesnt put constant strain on the box. Just to let you know, anytime you have a problem you have to speak to a specific department because again the departments there do not communicate with each other. Its not about the customer as a whole. Its like going to different business for different things. I asked the service guy when I went in to pay the bill and drop off our boat for a yearly checkup (we thought one more chance 4th time!) about the bill and how I dont feel like we should be paying, no surprise he said I am not a manager but you can vent to me It was obvious he wanted nothing to do with any issues I had again for the 4th time proving there is no communication among departments there. I even told him that I would like to resolve it as I am giving reviews online as well as many reviews that were sent to me through marine max.... He could care less and began talking about our new service with the engine. I ask locals on Facebook for other recommendations and got a ton for boat mechanics. We bought into marine max thinking we were buying into a place we can call home with our boating needs especially since we plan to upgrade (its our first boat) I now realize it will be much easier to just go to different business for my boating needs.Update, they still suck. We took our boat in for $1,600 tuneup and cables replaced. We asked before hand to get out boat hours. Didnt receive in the paperwork. Emailed twice. They left a message. Mike, i believe, in the service department, still talking demeaning to me like last time. He said, We couldnt give you the boat hours because the machine that does that was out for repairs. Then dead silence....I said thats something we requested. You could have told us. He said (not kidding) well, computers break down....silence.....I said how can I get my hours on the motor. he said he would DO ME A FAVOR (ha ha) and have me bring my boat in on Saturday (a boat day) and they would look for us. I cant make this up guys. I have given poor reviews on this place for over a year. They apparently dont care to check on reviews. THE DEPARTMENTS DONT COMMUNICATE------NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS----NO IMPROVEMENT ON LOCATIONS. Beware!!!Dealt with Marine Max 5 times and all 5 were a headache and disappointment. Maybe they only care about the people spending the big bucks. Not for the average Joe. Maybe Big Toys??? Thats our next choice. I did read a review from an employee on Glassdoor that said their main concern is a boat sale, after that...good luck.
So far my experience with the service dept has been great.
Great group of people and knowledgeable. They are hard workers and take pride in their work and their community.
Great staff and selection. Service manager Pete really knows his craft and Tim did a great job helping me find the perfect craft for me.
Some nice boats if you have a lot of money...
Tim Cobb was a stand up sales associate. If you want a good deal and the best pre and post sale service from your salesman than ask for Tim Cobb and tell him Captain Dan sent you! He has done nothing but exceed my expectations before, and even more so, after my boat purchase!
Tried to reach out the Jeremy to sell a boat for us and he didnt seem interested! Not only because he couldnt make enough money for himself but nor did he have time. Ive got several friends who have bought new boats from them and also store their boats there, their making money from that yet too..so they are willing to help. Just seems like phony place...
Boston Whaler, Harris Flote Boat, great selection of pre owned and good service department.
Great place to get fuel. Very nice service today at the fuel dock.
Terrible service Rob had no interest in selling or showing any boat. The Sea Ray we were looking at was dirty with beer tabs everywhere. He claimed it was a new boat when in fact it was a used 2015 with 110 hours. He told us therefor we didnt want it because it was new and we wanted a used boat!! He didnt even take time to find out that we in fact wanted a new boat - just in shock to see a sales person leave us standing in the parking lot. Go somewhere else.
Nice marina with great service and a helpful and friendly staff.
We paid over $300.00 per month to dry stack store our boat. They put a new roof on the building and dumped all kinds of dirt and debree into our boat. They broke our propeller and denied it, they stored our trailer and lost the license plate on the trailer. We pulled our boat out and feel very taken advantage of.
Very nice and friendly
Service out the door ! We bought our boat in October and six months later we are out on the ocean and we experiencing some issues mostly due to lack of experience with no one to turn to we decided to call captain Rusty on his personal cell phone that he provided. We left him a message and he imeadiatly returned our call and helped us trouble shoot the problem for a good 30 minutes . He was extremely patient and thoughtful and did not rush us, thank you captain Rusty and thank you MarineMax for your great service not only on purchase day but six moths later . You saved our vacation !!!! Sincerely Laz and Shadid
Great service, friendly employees, beautiful location
Very nice very clean. Employees very helpful.
Always a pretty good selection of New and used boats.
Worst purchasing experience ever. Salesman Jeremy seamed put out for a low dollar purchase $34,000 for a used boat. Seemed like a lot to me. It took five weeks for paper work to get done. Only after many calls. Thank goodness for Levi he seemed to be the only one who cared. I was never offered any extended warranty nor follow up of my purchase satisfaction. Im sure Marinemax has a process in place? If they do its not being followed.
Great place just short on parking
Ask for Tim Cobb! Great sales associate, before, during, and after purchasing a boat.
