Good selection of books at a fair price. Space is small and the clerk is not very friendly.

They accept paperbacks and with Covid they hold them a couple days before going through them. So happy they are back open after the change in management.

Ive gone here more than a couple of times in total -- through 2 ownerships. The most recent owner (Ryan Wendell, perhaps) is a really nice guy who loves treating people like bookworms. I have bought a book from here before. The last time I came, we got credit for a new book (FREE!) after donating a bunch of books during our last visit. There was a news article that spread worldwide attention a couple months ago about his Aspie (a classified form of Aspergers Syndrome) that involves working with great people at the Book Rack. Really nice bookstore!P.S. We might be back for the Buy 1, Get 1 Free sale later this afternoon (theyre going on this weekend!).

Great deals. Someone bought out their Stephen King selection sadly but I got a whole bag of Dean Koontz for very cheap. That will keep me stocked up on books for months for only 10 bucks

Really Good Place to browse and looking around used paperbacks with all genres here. This staff is very nice, responsible and good looking. The Book Rack of Vernon is definitely an perfect place. I have been there and coming here since July 2004.

Went here for my first time yesterday and they have so many books the lady was very nice and I bought 5 books for the price a new book would be! Definitely will be going here more often!

Great cost used book store. Always find something to walk out with at a fair price.

Couldnt find anything beyond overprinted mass-market paperbacks, which you can get from other used bookstores for about $1 and from tag/estate sales for .50¢. Way overstocked on romance novels, accounting for about 40% of the stores inventory.
