Our furnace was kicking in cold air and no heat so when I called, they sent their Technician, Robert within half an hour. We have been with Gottier Fuel company for 11 years. They are absolutely amazing, professional, excellent quality and highly recommend including annual maintenance service with your oil service. Also we recently had their other Gottier Plumbing and Heating company install new water tank and water pumps and they were absolutely outstanding as well. Like nothing about this company. Had a family room put on with a gas fireplace and never got to choose the style of logs, they just put it in. Had been a customer for many years as well as the owners before us. They came on a service call for the gas fireplace cause it wasn’t starting with the remote. Guy came, tightened a wire in the fireplace that took less that 10 minutes and charged me a full hour! Also came out to fix an on demand water heater. Tech knew nothing on how to fix it. Called the mfg. and he spent 4 hours on the phone trying to fix it at my cost! 4 hours then left with no hot water till next day and he spent about 2 hours on the phone then had to order a part. All in all, I was charged for 6 hours for their ignorance of not knowing how to fix it! Owner was VERY cocky when we complained. No more business with them!

We just signed up with these folks. I called seven different oil companies before going with Gottier. Their customer service is great! I had the good fortune of speaking with Jason in the office who was very patient and helpful in answering all of my questions. We had Jared out to the house, who was kind enough to review the boiler with me, as we’ve never had oil before. Jared was helpful, kind and good with my kiddos. The price of their service agreement is the best for the service offered (when compared to the other companies service plans) and their oil is 10% biofuel! It burns cleaner and is less of a burden on the environment. If I’ve got to have oil, I feel better knowing it’s not all fossil fuel. Gottier is the only company that has it in the area. Clearly they are planning for the future, and that’s just another reason to choose Gottier over the other guy.

Tech Robert came in for 2 issues, a leak in the hotwater supply line and a possible leak in oil tank. Replaced copper piping and valve without issue and did confirm a pinhole leak in oil tank. Temp patch applied. Tank to be replaced!Very professional and covid 19 compliant.

Used Gottier for 3 years or so, great overall company and never had an issue with them. Unfortunately they are the highest priced oil in the area. I found a new oil company to fulfill my oil needs which was 30 cents cheaper. I had a service plan which was paid in full with Gottier and they wouldnt even honor the yearly cleaning since i cancelled my oil service with them. Just be careful before signing up for service plans with them - you will be roped into a high per gallon price of oil.

We have used this company for 20 years. They were recommended by our homes previous owner. The level of service, professionalism and care is phenomenal. They installed our boiler in the middle of blizzard about 10 years ago. Very reliable

Gottier Fuel treats its customers family. If you need emergency services day or night, theyre come right out. The receptionist at Gottier Fuel are helpful, patient, and friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else in Tolland County.

Last night, one of Gottiers techs came out to my house in Tolland after my furnace repeatedly failed to start. He arrived and worked diligently on our furnace until about 10pm before heading off to the next call. He was professional, courteous, and approachable. He explained what he was working on and why, and didnt leave until the job was complete and our unit was running again, keeping my family warm.This level of service was outstanding and his willingness to keep our old, beat-up furnace running just a bit longer means a lot to a family with two working parents of young kids. I cant speak highly enough of the exchange. I hope you pass this positive review along to Tim and your team. Keep up the great work and exemplary customer service.

I would do the opposite of reccommend this company. Horrible service. Horrible prices. They specifically requested a meeting to set up an account to make payment easy. They took down my credit card information and I was relieved to not have to worry about it. The we had to wait a week for a convenient time for them to deliver the oil (dont even get me started on that). Fast forward to our first delivery. The price was high, but I didnt think that was a big deal. They left a receipt, which I assumed was just that, a receipt since they had already taken my credit card information. When it came time for the next delivery, I called to schedule the delivery. When they asked how I was paying for the delivery, I told them to use the credit card on file to which they replied ok. Again, I recieved another receipt. No mention of payment or payment timing. Now to today. My fiance called to schedule a delivery. They said they cannot deliver because I have two unpaid bills. When she said they had my CC information, they denied it. When I called to pay the balance, they said that since the bills hadnt been paid in 7 days, there were additional fees. None of this was told to me before purchasing, none of this was explained with the mandatory account creation, none of it was mentioned when I called for the second delivery. I immediately called another provider and not only will they deliver sooner and cheaper, but they didnt need an in-person interview to set up my account. Further more, when they asked for my credit card, they said I would be billed when I recieved my delivery. Music to my ears!!To reiterate: NEVER BUY FROM GOTTIER, EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
