After waiting for months for my regular furnace man for a tune-up, I called Bethke. They came right away and found that my 28 year old furnace was having some issues as I suspected. Within 3 days, during the polar vortex week, I had a new furnace. This is a top notch and flexible company!

Bethke Heating and AC has done a number of jobs at a friends and my homes over the years. This includes regular inspections of the furnace and air conditioners, duct airflow adjustments, a boiler replacement, and a central air conditioner upgrade. Most recently they installed a mini split air conditioner/heat pump in a room that needed help in this regard. Im planning another a/c upgrade (different home with VERY old system) with them now. Excellent company that I very highly recommend!

We received excellent service from Bethke in replacing our 100-year old steam boiler with a new boiler. Not an easy job because these things are very heavy and require specialized, complicated iron piping. The installation was completed on time and cheerfully. Most importantly, Brian went above and beyond in making sure our old boiler was kept running until the late November date when they could fit us into their busy schedule. Much appreciated!

We had Bethke install a mini-split heating/AC unit for our porch and could not have been happier with the overall experience. Our furnace quit, during the below 0 cold snap. Bethke sent out a tech immediately and determined the furnace needed replacement (It was 20 years old). Bethke has come a few times to fix our boiler that was originally installed by a different local company, and our interactions were always positive. But when Memorial Day hit the 90s, we knew it was finally time for a ductless AC in our house. Bethke installed ductless mini-splits in our home. I was pleased to note that the installation team wore masks (this is summer 2020, coronavirus). They worked quickly and the units look great and work well. Communication was good throughout the process of bidding and scheduling, and they were able to get us a manufacturers rebate as well as a modest price break as they are doing multiple jobs for us.

Back in late October (2020) we had two HVAC businesses out to get quotes on a new Furnace and AC unit. I had a new furnace and AC system installed this past Friday which replaced my 18 year old system. The 2 man crew that installed it were very friendly and timely....I think they were only here about 6 hrs or so to install everything.After they left I wanted to run the system through its paces and found out that my existing humidifier didnt turn on and that my 2 stage furnace didnt go into the second stage. I fixed those two issues with a little investigation and a few simple tools.I contacted Bethke via email to let them know what I found that following Monday and much to my surprise I got a reply from the owner(Jason) within an hour which I didnt expect. Four days later I had their most experienced service tech (Jeff) come to do a double check on the install. Jeff did find a few other bits misconfigured during his 45 minute visit.I went with Bethke due to two positive service call experiences for my old furnace several years ago. I chose to give Bethke a 5 star rating because people make mistakes and the entire experience was no hassle with great customer service.A sign of a great company is when they take responsibility for when mistakes are made or a customer is not satisfied. Had a basic tune-up on my furnace, and was told I needed a whole new furnace because the CO2 was too high. Had another company come take a look and the existing furnace just needed a new $30 part that was leaking. Behtke tried to sell me a new furnace three separate times. Seems a specialist should know that a part needed to be replaced versus having the whole furnace replaced.

Mike came out from Bethke because we needed a new furnace motor. We had been given a high quote from another company and just didnt feel comfortable. I called Bethke when my furnace stopped working. Of course it was during a snowstorm and the coldest stretch of weather weve had so far this winter! I spoke with Jake, who did some basic troubleshooting over the phone, but to no avail. He told me they could get to me between 12-3 the same afternoon. Jake and John arrived about 1:30. They were professional and courteous, explaining each step as they were checking things out. In the end, it turned out to be an air intake issue - blocked due to the 10 of snow that had fallen overnight. They grabbed a ladder from their truck, climbed up on my roof, cleared the snow away and saved the day! Prompt, courteous, funny and a very reasonable price. Customer for life here!

Our furnace went out after a cold stretch and the technician on call was Mike I. He arrived only 60 minutes after my call and had the control board replaced and furnace working within 25 minutes! I highly recommend Bethke for your heating services! On the coldest night so far this winter my furnace went out & it had gotten down to 60° by midnight. I called their emergency number & received a call back quickly & a tech came out at 1:30 am on a Sat night/Sun morning. John worked for almost 2 hours trying to get a temporary fix. He left knowing wed need a new part which he might not get until Monday. My kids & I wrapped up & prepared for a chilly time which ended up seeing the temp drop down to 55°. Bad luck that my furnace blower motor went out on the coldest day in 20 years, but fantastic luck that Bethke was open. Within 30 minutes of calling at 7am, Mike was knocking at my door and he had a fix within the hour. He explained everything along the way, even while it was still only 40 degrees in my house.Super happy that a local business was open and ready to help out, since not entirely sure what I would have done otherwise.

Misdiagnosed issue with A/C. About to have a $700+ repair job, only to have another company simply test our Freon. We had to seek out another opinion with a little one at home, no air, hot weather and a week wait for this “needed” part. Our system needed Freon, plain and simple. Disappointed to receive a premium service charge bill. I have no issue paying for a service call, but please test our system fully before diagnostic guess at an expensive part. Office was less than helpful and frankly rude when discussing the $184 service charge. Will not recommend.

Bethke service technician John came out several times to problem solve our Goodman furnace issues. We had inherited the furnace with the home purchase and even though only 6 years old it kept shutting down. John reponded so quickly and professionally, each time getting the furnance running again. After a month of Bethke replacing parts and restarting we decided it just wasnt worth keeping it. We worked with John and the office gal to get a new furnance installed, which they did within a week and installed in 1/2 a day. Staff answering phone inept - poor customer service. I had this company out 4 times to my house in the last 8 months. The first 2 times they arrived at the wrong address as the staff answering the phone recorded the wrong info. Brought wrong parts b/c the staff didnt input correct materials needed for the job. Techs were also a no show b/c the staff didnt record the appointment correctly. I called to schedule another appointment and they have no record of my service calls!!!

During first night of polar vortex our furnace fan stopped which was noticed around 11pm. Luckily is was just a belt. John came by around 1am and quickly and cheerfully replaces the belt and got the furnace working again.

Excellent costumer service, I spoke with the office manager, Jodi, about a furnace we had installed by another company. I had questions about the warranty and replacement options she obviously took my call and made it a priority. She had called me back within 15 minutes and relayed information. Ten stars for the Bethke crew. We had our furnace replaced in January and the AC last week and we are extremely satisfied with both units. Vickey is amazed at how good real air conditioning feels. TY. From our initial contact with Jeff to the installation techs, Matt, Patrick and Cory, we cannot say enough about their professionalism and knowledge of the process. Just good solid people to work with. We highly recommend Bethke and look forward to having them maintain our investment.

We woke up to a cold house after a heavy snowfall. Even with a busy schedule, Bethke was able to get a team to our house within a few hours. Mike I and Jake were friendly and fixed the problem very quickly. Highly recommended!

We called Bethke on a very hot Sunday as our AC had stopped working the previous Friday. John got to our house within 40 minutes and had our AC back online 10 minutes later.

Bethke installed a ductless split AC system in our home. Installation took 1 day and they were so neat and tidy that I wouldnt have even known they were there, except for all the new equipment! Great work.

We just moved in and out AC wasnt turning on. John came and figured out the problem in 10 minutes, fixed it in 5 minutes more and tested it multiple times to be sure all was well. Gave us the first time discount and couldnt have been more professional (using the little booties over his shoes, walking me through every step and even talking to my husband on the phone who was out of town at the time). Well defintiely be calling again and asking for John-- well done work.
