Everything was great except when I called to find out the cost for the exam they told me $72. When I got there they added on another $25 for a picture of my eyes for a complete diagnosis. They shouldve been completely transparent about their prices upfront.

Fantastic experience! Terrie the optical tech was fantastic. She went over and above what she needed to do. She spent well over an hour helping my family order contacts and glasses! So glad Shopko opened its optical stores back up.

I had a great experience buying glasses and getting an eye exam from shopko. Terrie and Kat were very helpful in deciding the right glasses to buy. The product options they had made it easy to find the right glasses for me for a reasonable price. Also, Dr. Avgoulas was quick and kind during my eye exam.

Nicole the doctor was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and found that I had a cataract in my right eye. I thought I wasnt seeing well in that eye but never thought cataract. She is personable and friendly. Sam and Terry are also very good with customers and help you find glasses that fit well and look good on you. I would recommend Shopko Optical to anyone.

Shopko Optical has always been my favorite eye care center since I was a child. When I saw Verona had one in town I knew that would be the place Id go. Well I was not disappointed at all! They made me feel safe with their COVID protocols. They were very nice and thorough on explaining my benefits and contact lens options designed for me. The whole process was fast and easy. At my appointment Kat cheerfully checked me in and took good care of me during tests, frame & lens choices, and measurements. It was nice of her to fix my current ill fitting glasses too. This was my first visit to Shopko Optical and it did not disappoint! Scheduling an appointment was super easy online and I was able to make my appointment for only a few days later. When I arrived for my appointment, I was immediately greeted by Kat who got my exam started right away. After the first portion of the exam, I waited less than a minute to see Dr Avgoulas who gave me recommendations on a new contact brand to try. The whole experience from start to finish only took about 30 minutes. I was very impressed by the kindness and efficiency of the staff. I will be back in the future!

My husband and I went for eye exams today and could not be more pleased. Kat took us through the preliminary exam tests and then we saw Dr. Avgoulas. It was easy to get an appointment, the location is super-convenient, and everyone was friendly, patient, professional, and thorough. This will be my 1st pair of glasses from Shopko so Im very excited to get them. I visited the Verona Shopko Optical for the first time and had a pleasant experience. I was was able to make an appointment and get in for an eye exam in the SAME day. When I got to my appointment, Kat was extremely helpful (and friendly!) and told me about the different deals/rebates to help me keep things affordable. Edwige was also very helpful and kind at the end of my appointment when I was checking out. And of course - Dr. Avgoulas was extremely informative and helped me through every question and concern I had with my contacts. I will be returning and I would recommend to any of my friends/family!

They even replaced my husbands lens within a few weeks of getting his new glasses after our dog got a hold of them and scratched them. I cannot say enough good about our experience here.

Move to the Madison area from out of state I needed to update my prescription so I could get more contacts. When i arrived I was greeted with a friendly smile. I made an appointment to check a red eye irritation, but ended up getting glasses as well. All team members were very safe with COVID precautions. Edwige checked me in and did my initial screen and then assisted with picking out glasses after my exam. She was very helpful and friendly to work with.

Shopko Optical in Verona was a quick and easy way to get my eyes checked. The doctor was knowledgeable and the tech, Kat, was extremely helpful with all my questions and with ordering my contacts.

I cant speak to their pricing and glasses quality, but I went in for a regular eye exam and had a great experience. Edwige up front was polite and prompt getting me checked in and ready to go, and Dr. Avgoulas was absolutely fantastic - she clearly (hah!) really enjoys her field and that shines through in her work.

I was in today for an appointment, Terrie and Dr. Avgoulas were outstanding to work with. My appointment was on time and everything went very smoothly, I would go back to this location in a second.

Really awesome experience when I went in to buy glasses. They helped me pick out frames with tons of non-pushy suggestions (after I mentioned I didnt know what I should look for) and they were cool with me phoning a friend for a second opinion.

They told me that it will take 7 to 10 days to get glasses. call them 3 weeks later and was told it would be 2 month before i will get them.

Edwinge did a fantastic job assisting me! This was only my second exam and I hadn’t had one in years. Edwinge made me feel comfortable by telling me everything was going to be okay. She also took pride in her work by making sure that I understood what she was doing at all times and walking me through the process of an eye exam.
