First time ever in a FF store. Highly impressed with appearance. Wide aisles and great carts. Plenty of room to get around. Service was great. Selection was outstanding with many options available. Everything was clean including the parking lot.

That’s s is the cleanest. Most organized Frstival Foods I’ve ever been in.

Overall it was really good- its kind of pricey but they do have a lot of fresh items in the deli and produce and bakery. You got a lot of single serving size meals that would be easy for someone to take to work for lunch. I really like that. Id only been to the one downtown before and that was a couple of years ago and I wasnt ever planning to go back to that location because they have a really weird parking garage… lets just leave it there!The only issue I had at the Verona store was I bought some of the fresh potato chips. Theyre freshly made in the deli and theyre a bag for $5 they looked so good in the little clear window that allows you tovsee in the bag but when I got them home and started to eat them they were so soft and chewy and not crispy at all! I feel as if they put them in the bag and sealed them up while they were still warm which caused them to get soggy. Ive never had them before from here so I dont know Im assuming that theres supposed to be crispy. But thats a chance I wouldnt want to take again so I dont wouldnt ever take the chance and buy them again.I also bought some freshly made pecan caramel rolls from their bakery and they were absolutely delicious!

Great new grocery store in Verona. Well lit store and clean. Easy to find your way around the store. Staff was friendly and helpful. A young girl helped bag our groceries even though we were in a bag your own line. Easy to get in and out once you know the layout of the store.

I had difficulty getting the guy behind the meat area to acknowledge and wait on me. Many items I needed were above my reach. A nice shopper helped get some things. Woman working deli was helpful though. I guess it wasnt my day to shop.

Very modern. I go when little traffic. Good deli, bakery. Fresh food, produce. Love their smooth driving carts.

I love this brand new grocery store. Its open late and huge! They have really good ad coupon discounts too, which are in the paper every week. Theyve even got a playroom for kids to use while you shop. Its a great family oriented shop with amazing store made goods.

An outstanding grocery store. Wish there was one near us. Was impressed by the variety of gluten-free items they had.

This place is great! Very open and easy to navigate the prices are reasonable for the qaulity youre getting. The veggies were nice and fresh. Their meat department was well stocked and had a nice selection of unique cuts of meat.

We love this store. The employees treat us like family. My 3 year old loves Mary Alice who works at the customer service and helps with self checkout. She is the best and my kid asks for her by name now!

I ordered a birthday cake but gave incorrect information for the inscription. Jill was my angel of mercy and fixed the cake when I picked it up. Thank you Jill. I have never had a bad experience at Festival Foods, either in Verona or downtown.

Normally love this place but today they were out of my flavor of cedar crest and was told they couldnt give me a slip for sale price because of covid. Mind you dane county is now asking people to mask indoors, they are all unmasked. What gives!!!!

You really need to evaluate the amount of time your salads are available. When I first went there (store in Verona) it seemed they were fresh but now the potatoes salad had a crust on it and the Cole slaw was drippy. even the more pricey salads were old and not worth the money. I asked what happened to the salads that didnt sell and was told they were packaged up and put in front.

I liked it. Good food and adult beverage selection. The associates are always super friendly

Understaffed I used self serve as did multiple others same time no designated staff helper so regular cashier next to self serve had to stop with her one customer to jump off to help usCustomer service staff not busy should have jumped in to help instead of watch.I felt bad for cashier she was stressed run ragged visibly upset where was her management team if I and others saw her stress.Management needs further trainingThank you to the overworked underappreciated cashier.Festival verona gets worse in less employees in aisles to ask help.

First time here and I was very impressed. Very bright and open store layout. Great deli, bakery and meat departments. Friendly staff. A very nice grocery shopping experience.

Literally every person working was incredibly friendly and helpful. They also had a ton of vegan products that I haven’t seen anywhere except for in Madison at expensive food places.

Very convenient Festival grocery and deli, in a smaller local area.

The location had ample parking,a sufficient number of handicapped spaces, a couple of wheelchairs, and a couple of scooters. The entryway and doors have ready handicapped access and clearances, with no difficulty using automatic did while using such devices.The store is large and easily navigated by multiple carts in the same aisle. There are fliers for advertised specials as well as an aisle directory at the entry to the store. The store is clean bright, well organized, and had proper signage for advertised specials, everyday low prices, and special events.They offer free coffee with flavor syrups at the end of the send serve hot food warming table. The salad makings all looked fresh and tasty, though the hot food warming table looked like the temperature was set a little too high, with food pulling away from the edges of their bins or cooked onto the edge of the bin.The deli looked amazing and ready to feed a large dinner party or a tailgate party. So many options to choose from and all of it was very appetizing.The items in the bakery all looked fresh and perfect. Seasonal specialties, cookies, breads, frosted cupcakes, and society cakes all looked perfect and ready for the table.The produce section was clean and smelled fresh and zesty with all of the produce presented in an attractive array. I was inspired by the layout to make a few dishes this week.The seafood and fresh meat section offered great deals and so many options for take and cook, pre-made selections. I was again inspired to make several dishes this week. The one downside I saw in the near sending was that the roast I had selected was leaking due to the foam tray used to support the 3lb roast was broken in a few places and it had cut through the cling wrap it had been packaged with. I selected a different roast, let the gentleman in the section know, and he gave me a cleansing cloth with hand sanitizer on it to clean my hands while he went to retrieve the roast and check the others for possible issues.The canned and boxed good aisles had everything I was looking for and more. The frozen food aisles were plentiful and well stocked.There are several checkout lines with people to help with bagging as well as self check lines that take a variety of payment options.Sadly, Festival Foods does not have a loyalty card or an app available, but you can opt in for emails to be sent with specials and such.Over all, I give this store five stars. All of the people I spoke to we very helpful, friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable and took the time to verify they had heard me correctly because I had laryngitis. The level of professionalism and care had to be selected by HR, it cant be taught. I hope all of you have as positive of an experience as I did.

I was a Hy-Vee shopper before the pandemic, but now Im a loyal Festival customer. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. They keep the store well-stocked - its rare for me to leave without crossing every item off my list. They keep the store clean, and Ive observed all staff consistently (and correctly) wearing masks.

Well organized and easy to shop location with great deli offerings. Today, I left with sushi, prime rib (cooked to perfection), and freshly baked cinnamon rolls from the deli in addition to my list of grocery items. I give four stars instead of five only because there were a couple of items that were out of stock. Otherwise, great store

The grocery store it’s self is very well equipped and clean. Their seafood is not the best. I bought lobster claws tonight that are rotten. They smell like perfume which in the seafood industry means they’re bad but they still sold.For a place that holds such high standards shouldn’t let this happen.I need to add to this! The shrimp was bad too! And I bought that fresh! Go to Hy-Vee for your seafood, 10 times better and better prices

Festival is my new favorite store. No other store comes close.

Nice clean store, friendly staff, oddly laid out. Do not shop for organics here, they dont understand produce very well. (Prepackaged organic lettuce with melted plastic around it? So many wrongs where do I start...) Try Hy-Vee or Millers. This place is good for specific items in a pinch.

Festival Foods in Verona is a very clean and well stocked facility. The staff is very friendly and the food items that are made in-store are very delicious. Best of all, the carts are in pristine condition! We have been looking for a grocery store of this quality for a long time.

First time into a Festival Foods- outstanding selection of fresh meats, deli counter items and prepackaged items to go. Lots of deli items that are gluten free- including dips and salads. Caveat being cross contamination possibilities. Generally a good selection of grocery items. I would give 5 stars if there had been a bigger selection of some products like laundry cleaning supplies and other non food items. As anywhere else some things are pricier than other stores and other things much less than other stores. Brightly lit, clean, well laid out with wide aisles all made shopping a pleasant experience - staff very friendly and helpful too.

During a busy holiday week it was a pleasure to enjoy Festival Verona this afternoon. In particular I appreciated the superb, efficient, caring service of check out Festival Personnel Cara and Kristine !!! Great customer effort!!!

Products are very scattered throughout the store and the knowledge of staff very poor in my opinion as to where products are in the store. When I got home I realized some of the fresh fruit was far from fresh. I will not be back.

Newly opened and had some good offers to attract people. My first time shopping at Festival Foods and I guess Ill come back.

As a disabled person, I love this store. I drive over from Fitchburg because I have to use an electric cart. The electric carts are the nicest of any store I have been in and the dial shows you how many hours left on the battery which is much more helpful than bars.The aisles are so nice and wide and uncluttered which makes using an electric cart so much easier than other local stores that have so many special displays you cant get around them.The store is so clean!I love that they have a separate checkout near the far door with a friendly cashier.

Very nice new grocery store that opened up in Verona. Comes across as a mix between Costco and Hy-Vee. They have a great selection of already cooked food, I like their deli and fresh meat selection. Lots of variety and it is very big. Produce was all in good shape and their alcohol selection is also very extensive. I recommend checking it out.

Ask if I needed help. Ask me if there was something I needed help finding. Told me thanks for being there.I will definitely drive across Madison to shop here again. That was a great experience and very welcoming.

At checkout they scan their ad to make sure you get their sale price. If you sign up for their texts and emails you get more savings.

Check your receipt. I repeat check your receipt. Their system recognize all of the ad items, resulting in an overcharge. Had to come back in for a refund. Then instead of apologizing was told to have the ad scanned next time. If they had looked closely they would have noticed that I did. Unfortunately only 3 of the ad items were recognized. Not a great way to get repeat customers. First and last time at the Verona festival foods. I should note they did round up for me. I was owed $7.96 and they gave me $8 back. So really, they went above and beyond 🤨

Love the store & products. But today one of your employees gave me a hard time about not wearing a mask. IF MASKS ARE MANDATORY THEN PUT A SIGN OUT SAYING IT. Had I known I wouldve bought online & drive up. Or just not gone. I know people that have worn masks done social distancing & still got covid. MASKS DO NOTHING, THATS WHY I REFUSE TO WEAR ONE. Only time I do is at my place of work. This used to be a 5 star place.

I really like all the ready made meals for $5-$6. They are tasty and nutritious. For Thanksgiving I went in and ordered a meal for two and whole pumpkin pie for less than $20, and for seniors this was a great deal, good food, we had no mess to clean up, and it all went swell. Nice job.

I visit this grocery store, among others in the area. But the one thing that stands out about this Festival Foods that has me coming back again and again is the customer service. The employees are excellent and super helpful. Its the #1 reason I shop here. The goods are a bit more pricey than other places, but I prefer the employees over any other place in the Madison area!

I had a very enjoyable experience at Festival Foods. There is a wide variety of items and not at all too expensive, except for only a few things. I have to be gluten free and dairy free. I found more items here than at Woodmans that I didnt even know existed. The items I did buy from Woodmans were comparable in price at Festival Foods. There were a lot of sales, which was very nice for my budget. The employees were very nice and helpful. I have found my new favorite store.

This place has a select really great weekly deals. But thats about it. They do have friendly staff and a lot of the times.....you bag your own groceries. I do love how you dont have to year your coupons out, they just scan the flyer.

Its okay. Ive only tried shopping there once. I just dont care for having to empty my cart AND pack my own bags. And the savings didnt justify the stress of slowly packing bags while someone elses groceries start to pile up. If thats your thing, fine. Not for me.
