They were able to troubleshoot my phantom 4, replace the damage pieces and have it back in the air in about 6 hours!
Fast Repair. Very Nice staff. Stopped by the store in Pembroke Mall and got my crashed DJI phantom 3 fly again. Picked up my drone in the same day.
This will be a fair review, a teaching experience for this particular location. I stopped in because of my drone crashing during active track when the sensors failed to stop when close to an object at 4mph. The drone still worked, but active track no longer worked at all.I explained to the owner or manager the issue in detail. All I got everytime I tried to explain the specifics was yeah, uh huh, yeah almost as covering my voice so I know he didnt understand. This process repeated about 3 times. Left the drone in his custody and even called again the next day to say the same thing just to have my voice covered up again not listening to the specifics of what the drone will or will not do.Gave it 3-4 days to ask whats the status of the active track feature. He responded with ohh, we did not check the active track because we cant fly in the store. The front cover to the drone was repaired from the crash. And he said they updated the firmware which I can do myself. After going back and forward about active track I said ill just come pick it up because this is going no where. Got the drone home and just like I figured, active track does not work, It wont even find the subject. The bill was 80 dollars just to replace a 9.99 cover and updated some firmware. I was heated, so I said you what just send me a partial refund since you guys did do something. I offered a 40 dollar split down the middle when the average person would have wanted a full refund.Here it is 2 weeks later and I see no refund in my bank, I called just now today and said where is the refund, he says oh yeah I check, I call you ok bye within 5 seconds. Im like so you are just gonna say bye and hangup, dont you even need my name or order number to even know who are talking to? Withing 10 minutes after hanging up I get an email for refund. Now my drone is being shipped to the actual DJI company so I can avoid this cartoon of a storeThe lesson to this location, listen more to potential customers. Stop trying to cut them off and listen to what they are saying. They already have a accent barrier that makes his English hard to understand enough as it is, then when you dont listen or try to rush people off the phone by saying OK bye withing 5 seconds of then asking a question, like what in the world. This store has potential but not with how they currently operate. If you have drone issues, I suggest sending to DJI only, atleast for now
Bought a part with UPS express shipping. They chose the cheapest, slower USPS, never gave tracking info. Wost shopping experience.
