Great place for everything! Vincent is very knowledgeable on everything. All tools are super cheap also. Great crew and customer service, having 8 guys on staff is a plus. No waiting is big for me! They also have the best upgraded tint software and machines in San Diego County! Its with the trip, ...as everything is accompanied by professionals that have acted in the painting industry. Enjoy.

We deal with them constantly for our clients wood shutters. For certain stains and finishes. This store has a family owned vibe. That makes shopping comfortable and makes you feel confident in your purchases. We were in dire need of a particular stain. They kept us informed when their shipment was coming in. I wanted a specific Benjamin Moore paint to paint a headboard. The staff at Altura Paint was very knowledgeable and helpful. They directed me to the correct primer and paint type and then mixed the paint quickly. The paint is great quality and matched the paint chip perfectly. Very impressed with the customer service and product quality here!

Do not ever buy paint from Home Depot or Lowe’s or anywhere else if you live within 45 mins of this place. They have high quality paints at super affordable prices and their staff knows everything about paint and surface prep. Painted my kitchen cabinets with their mid grade cabinet paint that we $12 more expensive per gallon than Home Depot. I will never buy paint anywhere else.

Ive been going to Altura paint for years. This is a store that carries just about everything as far as finishing goes, including paints, cabinet and Furniture finishes, finishing related chemicals and all the supplies you need to apply these. They also sell things like spray equipment, and protective equipment as well. One thing that I do not like about this new location is the parking. There is some parking in front of the store, and some in the back.

Very slow service. Had me waiting more than 45 minutes to get what I wanted. Do not recommend coming here for paint.
