I had to take some coins and marbles left after a family member passed. Dealt directly with Chuck and appreciated that this guy knows his stuff. I have no previous experience with collecting. I had no idea of the value of what I had. He was straight forward and honest about what the markets pay. I’m holding on to his card. It’s a small space but packed with interesting stuff. So small, I appreciate that he asks people to wear a mask 👍

Absolutely the rudest man Ive ever encountered in coins. Is mandatory that she wear a mask and stand inside this 2 by 4 square entrance before he will let you in like hes going to disinfect you when a customer is allowed in the store at a time only. Not even worth the hassle he might as well shut his place down and do online business only.

Wouldnt let me browse the shop without face mask or a VACCINE ID card that was requested verbally.Very unwelcoming experience, my first and last visit to this shop. And I had cash I wanted to part with.

Walked in at Christmas with money in hand desperate for a locket 15 minutes before close. Everything covered and treated like we were intruding. Asked if we had something to sell...( would have given us 50 cents on the dollar of value ) but when we said what were looking for just said, sorry bye, we open in the morning.Welp no worries won’t ever be back. Hope what ever ya had to do was worth it.

Visited Chuck for the first time for some silver, and even during the corona pandemic, Chuck gave a competitive price, AND made the transaction as smooth as possible with me having to pay and pickup at the door because customers arent allowed inside yet. Looking forward to visiting Chuck again soon

Bought many things from this interesting little shop. My dad goes here all the time to sell gold and silver, because he pays fair prices.

I checked about a dozen gold and jewelry stores before I sold my coins and scrap gold. Chucks offered to pay me more for my silver coins and scrap gold than any other gold and silver buyer within a 40 mile radius. Since then I have sent all my friends and relatives to Chucks to get the best offer for their scrap gold and coins too! They were all more than satisfied with Chucks top offers. Even on costume jewelry they offered to pay more. Its a small store with big offers. Cant beat it!

Took some gold jewelry to Chuck after getting offer at Akron Coin. Chuck paid $125 more (22%) for same thing, well worth the drive to Wadsworth.

I went to him a few times before and was always happy with what they gave me. Seems like for some reason now bad mood he’s doing us a favor by being open just not as easy to deal withAlmost makes you feel uncomfortable in there Maybe that’s the reason why the younger generation don’t collect coins Because my daughter even said why was he so mean. So I just went back to my old standby got more money.

I called chuck over the phone to see what he was paying for silver. Said if I had buffalo rounds in decent shape hed pay 90 cents over spot, which was much better than any of the places near me. When I arrived he recognized me from a purchase I had made there over a year ago. When we counted up the silver rounds I had brought I was one ounce short, Chuck paid me for it anyway saying it may have been miscounted when he sold it to me over a year ago. I couldnt believe he did that for me. That was a real stand up move, and it will keep me as a customer for life!

Definitely not what they used to be. I sold coins to chuck for years and the buy prices were comparable to the big boys. Now its like its a different place altogether. Totally try to rip you off. Dont know what happened are if Chuck just got greedy in old age but they lost a 10 year customer.

After shopping around for prices on an estate collection, These folks came through with highest prices paid. Super happy with the entire experience. And the shop is FULL of cool stuff!

This place is awful. I have been in there to have them price a few things, and knowing the price of what I had, their offer was ridiculous! I am not saying that I was in there looking to walk out with hundreds of dollars, but I am sorry three commemorative half dollars are worth more than just their melt value. My dad went their with a 1 oz U.S. minted gold coin and Chuck told him that he didnt think it was real and offered him about $150. For me this store is convenient when I am really jonesing for a silver/gold piece but the coin shop in Medina is better, the owner is MUCH nicer, and I really like the shop in Bath. Anyone that goes here to sell anything to Cranky Chuck go somewhere else before you seal the deal!!

Low balled me on my coins (they sold on eBay for 10x what they offered) offered me face value for most of stuff. Ripped everything out of my binder then just left it all over the table when I told them the offer was too low for me.

This place is wonderful!!! While I was in store selling my gold and getting so much more than other places offered, two other customers were being waited on and selling their gold. One of them mentioned that Chuck offered them $500.00 MORE than another shop!! Totally MORE BUCKS AT CHUCKS! I refer this place to everyone!

Very bad experience, as always. I do not recommend Chuck to anyone. Poor customer service and has an arrogant air about him. Why he is still in business Ill never know.

Had a very, very bad experience with this person/shop on Ebay. They sold me something that was supposed to be an antique gold filled necklace - turned out only the clasps were gold filled - the rest was very cheap gold colored metal....not at all as described.I politely informed him of the professionally tested results, he said to return, and after some back and forth agreed in writing to reimburse for return shipping costs. Then, he ends up keeping a percentage of the sale, not reimbursing shipping and sending me numerous nasty and rude emails on Ebay. I reported the conduct to Ebay and they have given him a warning for the harassing messages and are investigating the selling practices to see if he has done this before.Ive found Chuck to be unprofessional, rude and unethical in his dealings with me and recommend caution. After receiving a warning from Ebay and told not to contact me again, he started sending me rude, harassing messages on threeother sites and tried to intimidate me by noting my place of business, and leaving harassing and rude messages there, as well. Not someone I recommend working with.

Buyer Beware...Get another opinion or two before selling anything to Chuck or his wife. They are sneaky and work as a team. Lied to us about many items. Thought we could trust them and then I found out what they bought from us was worth much much more! These people do not have a conscience. I would never do business with them again and I have warned all my friends.
