Greet please to take the family for ice cream. The prices are affordable and you get a lot of ice cream for your dollars. The ice cream is creamy and their menu has lots of variety.

Good example of quality vs quantity. Far as quantity goes, this location is astronomical. The quality however, is subpar and this was disappointing. The menu could use a little more descriptive words considering the variety of flavors are so grand. We asked the cashier what did she recommend and most popular menu choices and she she asked her colleagues - no one provided an answer. When I worked in the restaurant industry, I could easily answer these types of questions. They were out of Oreos, which is remarkable because surely a manager could have went to the grocery store and purchased a few packs. We ordered a strawberry cone which had an artificial strawberry taste, so it was disgusting. We also ordered a train wreck with M&Ms and chocolate chips - this was better. Other fast food restaurants and ice cream parlors in the area would have been a better choice.

I dont even know where to begin. First, I’ll start with the subpar ice cream… if you could even call it ice cream… it tasted like alcohol and chemicals. Second, the parking lot sucks, if you have any respect for your customers, employees, or even your business, you’d move to a better location. Besides that, if you can overlook the chemical taste and the long wait time, you’ll definitely love the price of all their products. Completely overpriced. I’ll never go to this place again.

Love this little ice dream gem in Wake Forest. Soft serve is my favorite and they do amazing things with it. Their little ice cream creations are truly magical. Ive had the cotton candy train wreck and the beach sundae both fun and delicious.

The highlight of our daughters (a 2 and a half year old) day is when she eats a good balanced dinner and gets to go to the depot for chocolate chippy ice cream. Its such a great local attraction and the staff is always kind and friendly. We stop by a couple of times a week.

I want to like this place because theyre local and a small business; however, the ice cream is like the soft serve ice cream you get from McDonalds with some flavoring added. The raspberry tastes like alcohol.

This place is constantly out of the most basic flavors. On a Friday night at 7:30 they are out of chocolate. Half of their menu is items based in chocolate ice cream. Theyve been out of cotton candy, agreeably a little more unique flavor, at least 5 times. I have messaged them to ask about their supply and never get a response. This place has potential but is obviously poorly managed. Its also telling that they dont respond to their bad reviews.Edited to note: Two members of your staff told us there was also no dark chocolate last night. Thank you for your reply to me. Maybe we will try again.

The ice cream was AMAZING!!! It was our first time trying them out but we were ALL IMPRESSED!!! From the 1yr old to the 72yr old, my family thoroughly enjoyed this treat. Great value, so many things to choose from, and absolutely delicious. Im sure we will become regulars now!!!

Im so glad I found this local gem!! They do soft serve and have a gazillion different flavors - can twist up to 2 flavors at once. Im working my way through their ice cream flavor menu. My favorites (so far) are tiramisu, butter beer (go Hogwarts!) and coconut. I will say the creaminess of the coconut rivals if not beats Italian gelato! MUST TRY!! Oh and the cutest thing is they put candy eyeballs on every ice cream!

New to Wake Forest and tried this establishment due to locals recommendation. Been here now at least three to five times and each time it’s the same. Poor customer service, which what do you expect if you have kids running your business. Poor quality desserts. Zero consistency with the exception of consistently getting your order wrong. It seems like some sort of social hour is always going on inside the little box they work from. If I owned a business and I cared about it I would hire adults who have work ethic, I would buy better quality ingredients and I would train entire staff so customers receive a consistent product. Will not be returning.

Yummy new discovery in the Wake Forest area! Very unique concept of creating custom Soft-serves. They have plenty of options to choose from and you can’t really go wrong no matter what you choose!We got a pistachio nut-mango combo and a vanilla cone covered in charcoal ash (smokestack). The extra decorations like googly eyes gives you a chuckle before you tuck in!Price is also extremely reasonable and fair! Do give them a try :-)

This place is terrible !!! Website says open until 10pm Friday/Saturday, just to set the tone. So family is waiting in line at 8:55(very long line). By the time we get to the window (9:25 mind you) we are told they actually closed at 9pm, so sorry. There were at least 7-10 cars behind us still and since there was a sign saying “speaker broken, pull up to order” a dozen us of sat in line almost 30 minutes without anyone stepping out of the little hut to let folks know they were closing early. 2 cars in front of us were last to order. What a joke !!! Not even an ounce of concern that they had customers waiting for a half hour to be told at the window after all that waiting “ oops We’re Closed” Never again, not another dollar of mine will this place get. Too many options, Dairy Queen, Goodberry’s, even Culver’s. Go elsewhere where they actually care about their customers.

Its my favorite place to go! My go-to is a cotton candy waffle cone, and they always have something for my dog.

We do the drive up and they are careful to get the order right. Sometimes they are slow because there seems to be only one person. They have a great variety of flavors. I especially like the Dole pineapple flavor. Very refreshing.

Weve lived here 3.5 years and always went to Goodberrys. Their custard is legit. However, they offer zero non-dairy options. Dairy Depot has a few really good non-dairy options, plus a ton more ice cream options. The ambiance is better, with some trees and hanging flower pots. Well see how we feel mid-summer when its crazy busy, but maybe we just use the drive-thru. Glad we finally stopped in, and well be back. Ill need to look into whether they offer bulk discounts.

This is a great place to stop by during the warmer months for something cold. The staff is kind but they’re not always the most efficient. But the ice cream does make up for it, everything I’ve ordered has tasted amazing. If you want some family time, this is a good place to go to sit in the sun and enjoy something cold.

Cake Batter cone and Lava Cake sundae were excellent. Our dog also enjoyed her “pup cup.” We will be back soon for sure!

We’ve lived in Wake Forest 3 years and this is our first time here at The Dairy Depot! We had to get a puppy first:) Awesome little ice cream shop and free for the doggies! Employees were friendly, landscaping pretty and just overall great experience!

This is my favorite ice cream shop. All of the ice cream here is great, the prices are good, and the staff are incredibly friendly. My family and I have stopped here every weekend for at least a few years now. I also love how they have neat seasonal specials, and also have a very large menu to ensure that they have something for everyone.

Ice cream is really yummy and my kids love the dairy free pineapple Dole whip. It can take a while on even mildly busy nights. I also wish there was a little fence between the drive through like and the people standing to order. Its a little nerve-wracking with kids standing in line because the drive through cars are feet away.

Try the blue cotton candy soft serve. One lick and youll be hooked, just like our four year old granddaughters and their daddy! And if the hot weather makes it melt, any drips fall through the attractive metal mesh outdoor table tops to the patio, where theyll get washed away later.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that their ice cream is hand made, they do not let you sample the flavors before you purchase. Nice outdoor seating area with shaded tables, but no indoor seating. A drive through is available as well.

This is our spot for ice cream cravings. The best part they are open all year long even in winter when its freezing. I love stopping over and they also have ice cream drive thru. No need to get out esp when its raining. Great staff and they have all assorted ice creams flavors you will need.
