I love their big selection in a small, family feel, store. Prices are equal or better than the big shops. Youre always greeted with a hello. Their staff is usually found working on the latest displays with a word or two to help you, if you want.Best location for Melrose residents in the heart of Greenwood Plaza.Mostly I go there for the wine selection but also liquor, aperitif, cordial, different mix items that are locally sourced, fun unique gifts-including gift bags and quality cards and beers.

I am impressed! I just moved in Wakefield, showed up there once and asked if they can order my favorite wine. Not even a week after, it was already stocked and they give me a call to let me know! Thank you! Very friendly staff!

Im not a beer drinker, so when I shopped here to buy a gift for a beer aficionado, they were very knowledgeable and helped me pick out some new beers for them to try based on what they described as their favorites. Was a better system than me just picking based on how cool the can looked!

Inventory is wonderful, and if they dont have what you want you can ask them and if its in their distributors network theyll order it for you. Staff is knowledgeable and theyre always kind. 5/5 earned well

I used to come to this place all the time. My girlfriend (whos 25 years of age) and I went there a few weeks ago to buy liquor for a party and they wouldnt sell to us because she has an out of state license (being from CT.) Funny how we were good paying customers and we had never had that problem before. Never will have it again either because our business is gone!

Fantastic selection of wine and craft beer. Staff is very friendly, helpful and well versed. They are very accommodating if you have a special order or want them to start carrying something. Gift selection of non alcoholic items is also impressive.

Both staff members were so helpful and attentive when I came into the store. I asked if they carried any ribbon and the woman not only found one but put it on the gift I was purchasing. Both her and the gentleman working tonight were amazing, can’t wait to come back in!

Great selection of beer. Parking is tough when the restaurant in the same plaza is busy, but they now have 15 minute parking spaces so you can quickly run into the store. Will upgrade my review after the next time I am there during peak hours.

Im a big fan of a certain kind of rum, which no other liquor stores in the area carry anymore. The staff at Greenwood offered to special order it for me, and it came in within a week. Super excited to make good mojitos! And Greenwood has now become my favorite liquor store. I will go out of my way to buy from them again.

If you go here, which I wouldn’t suggest, make sure you have a MA license. Not a US Passport or any other state license. Even if you are in your 30s you will be turned away and made to feel like you are trying to do something illegal, and anyone with you (even if they have a valid MA license) will be turned away and made to feel like they are trying to do something illegal.

Great selection of wine, beer, liquor--you name it, theyve got it! Got a craving for a dinner-plate sized peanut butter cup or maybe for a laugh? Yeah, they have that too! (No, but really it was delicious, haha) The staff is always super friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Anything they dont carry, theyre quite happy to try and acquire for you, all you have to do is ask. So lucky to have Greenwood as my local store. A++!!
