The Ultimate Burrito sure is bountiful but, a little under seasoned. Even the sausage seemed a little bland. It definitely needed the salsa supplied, which was thick and tasty. The home fries were perfectly cooked, but again needed a little something. Im not trying to be hyper-critical. I would definitely eat here again. Id just need to make my own. PS. There is outdoor seating out back for those looking to avoid dining out in confined spaces.

I’ve passed this place many times but I’m not a big breakfast person so I never went in... I was in the area with the ex and he wanted breakfast so we found a parking spot and went in... I’m so happy we did!!! The place was immaculate to begin with including the restrooms... the staff was so friendly and our waitress was perfection!!! Completely on top of her game! I’m crazy picky having owned a restaurant for over 20 yrs and I used to waitress growing up... Great service and great food is important to me... doesn’t have to be gourmet but it must be expertly prepared and this place was the best I’ve experienced in a very long time! I had a half grapefruit and was thrilled to see that on the menu!!! So sweet yum!! I had oatmeal w fresh blueberries & raisins... omg my favorite type of breakfast! My ex had eggs corned beef hash and loved everything! The lunch menu looks great and I’m definitely coming back for gyros!!! Wow I think it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had out !! Well done I love this place!!!
Love the home quality food. We come for both breakfast and supper. Never had a bad meal. My go to is a mushroom and cheese omelete. My husbands new favorite is the pulled pork sandwich for supper.

The North Avenue Diner provides excellent satisfying good food, with pleasant servers who remember your usual requests next time you are there. A very wide menu is sure to have just what you are hankering for (even if you werent sure what that was when you came in) all for a very reasonable price.

First time ordering from here, we placed a delivery. It was unbelievably fast, the food was hot upon arrival. The driver was beyond nice and the food was awesome. However, we paid for a side of bacon with one of our meals and it was forgotten. I called them and told them nicely that it was on my slip but we didn’t receive the bacon. I told them not to worry I wasn’t going to ask them to come all the way back just for bacon and my food would have been gone by that time anyways. The nice lady on the other line said sorry, but that was it. It didn’t sound sincere and that’s all her response was. Just wish she was more verbally concerned/actually cared about missing food from delivery orders that was paid for. I will still order againAs everything else was perfect. Just Double check your food bag before the driver leaves.

Cute diner, first time visitor here! It was simple, food came out super fast, waitress was attentive but not too much... The diner was a little cold inside, but great otherwise! Food was good, pancakes, bacon and eggs were perfect... homefries didnt have any flavor & tasted like they were boiled in tap water first, but overall, it was good! ((I just added salt, pepper and ketchup on the homefries and it worked👌🏽))

I have been going there for years. The place was not crowded. Waited a long time for my food. I ordered Denver Omelette American Cheese, no toast. Came with Swiss Cheese which I dislike, and white toast. If I order toast I order Wheat. My son ordered a Hash Omelet normally the hash is put in side after the egg is cooked. No they cooked it as part of the eggs.

Food was okay nothing special. They had 90 % capacity which was weird its only supposed to be 25% but what are rules right. They did nothing to prevent people from coming in. I wouldnt rush back there.

I had a fantastic meal at North Ave Diner tonight. They make huge, juicy cheeseburger with a bun that is the perfect size and texture! The fries were crispy and very hot! The service was fast and friendly. I was so happy to get out and support this wonderful diner!

Came by on a Sunday morning. The lovely server was so friendly and welcoming and actually remembered me from when I used to come in regularly...about 6 months ago.The food was outstanding as always. I love when I have time to stop by for breakfast and listening to the conversations of the regulars.

Our party of four ate here on a very busy Sunday morning. The service was exceptionally speedy. Our server Salam was friendly, attentive, and bantered with us. The food was the happiest meal of our week long trip!
Service was friendly and restaurant was clean. Both my kids said their burgers were just ok and we all agreed the fries were soggy. My BLT came with the extra bacon I requested but only one small slice of tomato. We love diners but unfortunately this was a miss.

I dine here frequently. Friendly family restaurant. Lots of regulars. They roast their own Turkey for the dinner and sandwiches. Not processed Turkey! The best lobster roll! Wonderful homemade Greek soup! When I was sick, he sold me a quart container of the soup to take home. Strati, one of the owners, greets everyone. Paul works along side his brother. Very friendly casual environment. Strati bakes the meatloaf using his Dads family recipe. They bake 100s of pies (place your order) for the holiday season. The meals are so generous, I always bring some home. Very reasonable prices. Ive been a regular for years. Conveniently located on North Ave. Off Route 128, Wakefield. Easy to get to.

One star is way to high for the service I received at North Ave. Diner. Waited 45 minutes for our food. The waitress, probably in her early 20s, didn’t check on us even once. Finally she comes and tells us she forgot to put our order in. Complete waste of our time. On top of that when I looked underneath our booth I saw a dead cockroach. Horrible service and filthy. DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Popped in for a quick breakfast. Had a burrito which was delish and freaking huge. Big crowd of regulars chomping the bit, that was amusing. Home town atmosphere.

Picked this place just from a list of breakfast places in the wakefield area. Im glad I did because it was very good! I did only get a waffle with banana slices but, it was cooked perfectly! Wasnt busy when I went in around 1030ish on a Friday. Waitress was great! No complaints!

I was working in the area with a few other guys. We stopped here for the first 3 mornings we were in town. The first and second days were great! Great food and a great service first thing in the morning around 6am. On the third day there was a hair right on top of my egg. I didnt want a refund I just wanted another breakfast sandwich. No problem they fixed the issue. A coworker of mine ordered a sandwich with no cheese just like the previous 2 days. His came with cheese. No problem they took it back and made him a new one. Problem was his new sandwich came with a hair on his egg. At this point we were all kind of frustrated. He sent it back but instead of getting a new sandwich the cook sent it back out and said they couldnt find a hair in the sandwich. After pointing the hair out to the waitress he decided to skip breakfast entirely from this place and told her not to bother bringing out a new one. They didnt charge him for the sandwich but still made him pay 2.75 for his cup of coffee. I feel like the waitress was told to bring the sandwich back out to us. We still tipped her well but have not returned since.

North Ave. Diner knows how to do breakfast. Often times, you walk into a breakfast spot and its crowded, the wait is long, and it takes forever to get your food. Not here. At North Ave. Diner, the waiters are great. Theyre considerate, friendly, and know how to be fast without sacrificing good service. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Its not fancy and it will definitely make you aware that youre in a small town joint, but thats part of the aura . . . and youll love it. My family has tried out their fair share of breakfast spots and this is where weve settled. Dont miss the fried potato side and all the amazing choices.

Nice diner with friendly staff and local feel. The spot is obviously popular on weekend mornings, so just expect to wait 5 or 10 minutes, thats all. There are tables, booths and a breakfast bar. The restaurant has a handicap accessible entrance and seating. I usually get the egg/cheese burrito at breakfast and a friend of mine swears by their steak tips lunch special.
