I always have very helpful sales ladies!I have dry skin and the young lady sold me a wash and a moisturizer and Ive been back to repurchase same items. Also added a great toner as well.
Went in this afternoon looking for a good foundation for dry skin. The season change has been effecting my skin severely. I was approached as soon as I walked in by Kelsey who was super helpful and sat me down and did a quick facial and helped me choose the right products! My face feels amazing now and I will be going back Friday to get the rest of the products that were used!
They are always very nice and helpful here. They are very knowledgeable about their products. I especially liked the dark haired gal from Minnesota. She was very helpful and knew exactly what would work for my skin type and what I wanted. She up-saled me a few extra items, but not in an annoying way. They worked out great!
This place is awful. I recently started getting into the bare minerals line because I dont wear makeup but a friend told me about this line and I figured I would give it a go. I needed to try to find a good coverup so I asked the lady for help. She color matched my skin supposedly then I paid over 30 for the bare mineral concealer. It was orange! Orange! My skin isnt orange. No receipt so they wouldnt even swap it!
Been here a few times, only once have I had a good experience. The other 2 times it was like they went out of their way to make me feel uncomfortable. Today was no exception; I could understand if they were busy especially this time of year but I was the only customer in the sephora store. Bad representation for the sephora brand. If you need to go to the store I recommend driving out of your way to either hyannis or derby st.
Applied to the new Sephora opening up here, and the hiring manager Ashley was extremely unprofessional with me. I had kept in touch almost on a daily basis hearing that Ashley would be making interview calls, or that Id hear back from her the next day, and two weeks into this process of me calling and hearing Id hear word back from her, never heard anything. When I finally heard back from her she says Sorry for the miscommunication, Ive already made calls to everyone I wanted for the interview. How unprofessional, never returned a call, gave me a run around, even after I had communicated very thoroughly. Terrible experience, terrible management, unprofessional and rude.
I like coming to this location because its not as packed and busy like most locations. Its not as big as the actual Sephora store, but it has a little bit of everything. I like shopping when there are products in stock! Luckily since this is a quiet location during the weekday, I come here often to replenish my makeup supplies 😀 Only thing is, if you purchase your products here at a JC Penny location, I believe you can only return/exchange only at a JC Penny Sephora.
