Geat local place. Friendly staff, good food, good value. We rediscovered this gem last year. And frequent it on off days. Mainly had breakfast here, but a couple times ate lunch. Havent had a bad meal.
Got the mighty viking scrambled and the biscuits and gravy, and both were absolutely delicious. Fresh veggies but not too much, plus perfectly heavy portions of meat, perfectly cooked, and the gravy was fantastic. Even the coffee was great. Service was good despite how busy it was for only one server. 10/10 would go again

I just moved to wareham. And I love that I live down the street from this place. The prices are great. The Food and service is amazing. They treat you like family here. As someone who works in customer service, I understand the frustration from the pandemic. This crew is always upbeat and willing to go the extra mile. :) you guys found yourselves a new regular!!Sincerely thank you for everything you do!
Went here to eat sat down and flies everywhere table was sticky and seats had food in the cracks. If they are so popular why wouldnt they want to clean up the place. Shame on you guys
Stopped this morning to have a nice breakfast with my husband immediately upon walking in we should have walked right back out! Smelt like sewage….dirty vents that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years…service very slow.. food not up to par….save your $$$ we will never go there again!!!!!

We stopped for a quick lunch. There were a lot of specials such as cheese ravioli, salad and strawberry shortcake together for $8.99. They also had pot roast, leg of lamb and single items like grilled cheese with tomato.Our waitress was very pleasant.The diner building itself could use a bit of TLC.
Went for breakfast on Fathers day. 3 of us had 3 different omelets. All three were very good.

When we walked in the first thing that we noticed was the smell!! The service is extremely slow.. the waitress cut her finger and used a paper towel as a band-aid.. I ordered decaf coffee and it tasted burnt and like its been sitting since they opened! Will never go there again!!! The people I was with said their food tasted spoiled and they couldnt eat it.. even the juice tasted gross!!
New to wareham and excited to try the local restaurants. Friday morning at 10 we arrived at the diner. We were greeted by an angry hostess/waitress. She flung her arm out & told us to sit anywhere with a red X. Even though there were only 5 customers in the diner we waited 10 minutes for a menu. Then 15 more minutes for our order to be taken. The breakfast was good enough. Service horrible. Will not be going back.

We ordered then 15 minutes later they came to tell me the special (they had advertised) was no longer available. Also, my boyfriend ordered eggs benedict and they gave to him without the sauce so he had to ask for sauce then put it on himself
Food was great but there was an awful smell inside.
Food was out of this world we had a homemade meatloaf dinner with french fries and fresh vegetables and gravy we also had a Thanksgiving sandwich on Texas toast bread with homemade potato salad it was remind me so much of my grandmothers. The food came out hot and fresh and quickly the service used social distancing and face coverings. It was very friendly and helpful. Explain everything. They also took cash which was wonderful as we do not usually use credit cards of any type. Were looking forward to going here again as we used to but we will go to the cape to go fishing many times during the week. It is definitely a worthwhile trip to take that extra mile off the highway into Wareham to eat. We also took home some homemade oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies. They were so good I started eating the cookies on the way home

Every time I go home for a visit I always stop here. Sort of a tribute to my father. We would have our Saturday breakfast back In 70s. The food is still great and service was fast. I will continue to go every yr.

Super affordable with large portions. No frills diner food. Shepherd’s Pie $7.99, burgers with fries, breakfast all day, homemade cookies. They take credit cards and food comes out quickly.

Great authentic diner. Escape the Cape bridge traffic on your way home by setting off early and having breakfast here. Really friendly staff and even friendlier prices. After the Cape you’ll be pleasantly surprised

Went to the diner with my husband and two of the youngest of our minions. Our waitress hit it off with our rambunctious 4 year old and 5 month old right away. The menus were readily available and she made ordering so easy...for a parent of 4, I seriously mean wicked easy. Our food came and I stuffed my face and our son filled his belly and plate-hopped with no hesitation. I will go back again. The portions were excellent. I love food and this just made me more of a fan. I think the place recommends itself. Happy eats people!!

Best brunch place to visit if youre in the area. Mill Pond Diner has been around for awhile and never fails to serve comfort food. The waitresses are always super friendly and cater to your needs. They also offer all day breakfast which is great for days you sleep in a little late but still want pancakes.
First visit, so maybe I just hit them on a bad day. Service was quick and friendly, but the place was pretty dirty and the food was not good. Coffee was weak and tasteless...literally hot brown water. Ordered hash and eggs (hash is always a good test at a diner); Im quite certain the hash came out of a Dinty Moore can (the kind with the tiny potato cubes and mealy corned beef). Toast was try and also tasteless. Again, maybe it was just an off day, but unlikely Ill try again to find out.

Little dive diner joint with awesome staff and even better food. We no sooner ordered and our food was there. I think Superman was cooking that day and I tip my cap.
Went with my mother and sister for my Moms birthday so went in with some expectations. (This is after hearing some unfavorable things about MPD). I ended up with a delicious omelette, and the three of us were pleased. Would definitely go back and I enjoyed the service as much as the good. Nice dining experience

Millpond has a great Omelets,, huge blue pancakes, and yummy linguica cheese rolls. They also have Amazing Kale soup!!! (Homemade of course) I like that you can get breakfast and lunch all day at anytime. The menu has alot of great choices, if you dont see something just ask the server and the kitchen will make you whatever it is... ( if they have it) Oh they have homemade pies too. Yup great place, very reasonable priced, and great atmosphere just a cool Diner.
Great cheap food in an old school diner. Servers are very friendly. Food took a bit too long for breakfast, but the taste and price were worth it.
So The food is always great so I came today for a quick bite to eat and the waitress was more than rude... walked away in the middle of taking our order to “go answer the phone” and gave multiple rude comments thru out the lunch. The food was delish! But the waitress was snobby for no reason! Then waited over 10 mins to pay the bill as she walked past my table over 5 times with the cards waiting... her tip was 10% because I used to waitress and have a heart but she didn’t deserve even that!

Absolutely Terrible....Food was AWFUL...Service was worse.2 waitresses with no more than 10 people each... Sausage although quite large are completely void of flavor. Hope fries nothing but boiled potatoes with a little paprika added for color. Coffee was very good, but I couldnt get either waitresses attention.

DINER FROM TED 2! Mill pond is really a quiet, small, hole in the wall easily missed with good home cooking and country styled environment. Pricing is fair and customer service is great. You wont be sorry you stopped in.
