I went in to get a print framed. The lady helping me was very knowledgeable. She gave me great suggestions after she asked questions about what I wanted. When we were done, she showed me a computerized picture of my print with the matting and frame I wanted. Great experience!

Never a dull moment! While most stores have slim pickings of supplies for crafts, I can ALWAYS count on Michaels.

Great place to find all the basics and what not. Usually has a decent amount of sale or clearance items. One of my 2 places to go for arts and crafts supplies

This is overall a great Michael’s store, I just don’t like how they don’t clean the baskets off before refining them to the front. I left my basket thinking that was the right thing to do but when they women at the counter told me to return it to the front without even mentioning it would be cleaned I was kinda grossed out.

Well the cashier took my time to sign up for a free membership stating I would get 15% of my purchase AND yup NOPE THAT WAS FALSE... I truly believe it was a scam for my email and information- SHAME on you MICHAELS CRAFTS!

The staff have always been pretty helpful. They carry most of the art supplies I need. When something is out of stock I can usually get a pretty quick replacement. Recently I needed some art kit ideas for a friends birthday. They helped me pick out a good starter kit. Most of the paper they carry is pretty pricey... In a pinch they are a good but as they are well stocked.

Bought a beautiful frame for a picture, I had a long time. The staff person was excellent, in replacing the frame on the picture.

Love Michaels has all your crafty needs though the checkout pricing was a little difficult as each cashier had to look up sale items going by pictures took a long time.

Every now and then they have great sales (40% off on beads, hemp and landings) and a lot of art supplies to work with if youre interested in arts n crafts and dont want to spend a lot of money. Great location too, right off of Rt.2!

I was very uncomfortable with my experience while checking out at Michaels at Bald Hill Rd. The cashier Becky was complaining constantly in front of customers about how many hours she had to work that day and how she didn’t want to be at work anymore. I felt uncomfortable with her being the person checking me out because she was complaining about how she had to be working and how she did not want to be there anymore. This is a time with COVID that people should be grateful that they have employment. And it was a very disappointing experience I had at Bald Hill Rd. Michaels. Unfortunately I will not be returning because of this experience because of Becky.

My co-workers and I went in on a Sunday afternoon to purchase Halloween decor for our students as we were planning a small Halloween party for the daycare we work at. Before even entering the building we noticed the glares at us through the front windows ( I’m not sure if it’s because we were in close proximity of each other) or if the staff just wasn’t that enthused to be working that day. The selection I felt were at a bare minimum and the items that I was going to purchase online for same day pick up earlier were nowhere to be found in the store when I asked an associate I got a shoulder shrug and the I don’t know response. My coworkers and I are very enthusiastic people and were excited to be getting our decor and items and it was almost as is everyone in the store hated that we were happy people I made a small purchase and when I asked the woman about my rewards she let out an annoyed breath and asked for my number like it was to much for her to enter into the computer. We left and walked over to another establishment just a few doors down and I wished I had just went there in the first place instead.

Always have what I need

Did an order online for same day curbside pickup. I ordered it at 11 am . Didn’t hear anything from them and it was 330, and I was suppose to have it to my son in college by 530. Went in and waited in line 15 mins for them to tell me it wasn’t ready. They said I would get a text when ready. I live 30 minutes away so I waited around the area until it was almost 630!! They close at 7 so I went back there and waited in line again, to be told once again, order wasn’t ready!! I had told my son I would bring it there at 8 pm since I missed him earlier and he needed his supplies for a morning class. The cashier got the same girl from the afternoon over and she repeated it wasn’t ready. I explained I ordered it at 11 am and was guaranteed sane day pick up. She said it takes a while for the order to show up in their computer after you order. I said well it’s been 7 and a half hours and I need it before you close. She wasn’t going to get the order until I told her I was going to cancel the order and get the things myself!!! She gave an exasperated breath and said she would do it but wasn’t guaranteeing me I’d have it before closing!!! She had it done by 7 and I grabbed it and left. Terrible experience and horrible customer service from that employee!! I will be finding another art supply store to use because I have another 4 years to get supplies for college and I’m not going to deal with this again!!

I have been getting my craft supplies at ACMoore for quite awhile now but since theyve closed down I am back to Michaels. The prices are great. The Rewards Program is great and is a real motivator for me to spend more time crafting than I have in awhile which has intrinsic benefits including more relaxation for me. And while I was impressed with the larger variety of crafting supplies they have since I last shopped there regularly, I was truly disappointed in the yarn selection and at how much was out of stock too. Shopping for yarn has always been a pleasure for me but I found myself very frustrated trying to find 4 skiens from the same lot and of each of three different colors made by the same company and of the same type and have them be something close to the three colors i was specifically looking for that day. On the upside, I guess, I discovered that had a variety of colors of crochet thread if I take up doily making or filetwork again. I will keep shopping there and hopefully I will find the yarn section replenished and more appealing next month. The cashiers and staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly wishes really goes far these days. I can always find a better selection of yarn online but if I need to brainstorm or problem-solve a project, Michaels staff can and I trust will be happy to help me.

I live Michaels and their products! Always a huge selection! If you get there before all the good stuff is gone! And their coupons and sales rock too!! Remember to get the app and use it every time you shop!!

Always a great source for seasonal decorations, tons of stuff, aside from all the crafting materials. And near the end of seasons can get some great bargains, such as decorations for 70% off. Nicee!

Didn’t have what was listed as in stock on their website but I managed to get some of what was needed.

I love this store because no matter what it is, they probably have a coupon for it, also they will fake joanns and hobby lobby coupons.

Car broke down in their parking lot, and it had been a while since I had gone into a craft store. I ended up getting Origami paper, and made a bitchen paper crane. Next I tryed to make a toucan, like the froot loops bird, that was quite a bit harder and Id have to give my self C+.

I was charged an incorrect price which I noted to the cashier. He offered no assistance. I asked him if the price I saw in the store was only valid for the purchase of 2 or more of the item. He didnt know. I went back to the display and verified the price and returned to the cashier. A manager came to me and offered to sell me the product at the displayed price as if he was doing me a favor. I tossed the item on the floor and left.

I am so disappointed with this store. I ordered a Christmas tree to be delivered same day. Apparently they do through door dash for delivery. I received an text that the item was picked up and on its way. I waited at my door and no one came, then I receive a text stating it was delivered. I called the store and they told me that they did not know how to contact the driver to find out what has happened. Its not like it was a case of a porch pirate because I stayed at my door waiting for the delivery. I only live about 1.25 miles away. I wouldnt have been waiting long if they said they were on their way. I am currently waiting for this to be resolved. Im hoping this wont take too long. I am very upset and will not be ordering from this store again.

The service is still excellent and they have adjusted to the new normal wonderfully. They are keeping themselves and us safe and I think they are going about it with service in mind.

Went inside Michaels for the first time since March. What a difference! Loved to browse what they have but the low selection of yarn.

Always a treat to shop at Michaels because there is such a large array of merchandise, everything a crafter or do-it-yourselfer would need. Ive always found something I need at an affordable price. Theres ample parking, too.

Prices are a bit high, you definitely need to use a coupon. Make sure you use the 40% from the app and show it to the clerk; otherwise, no discount.

They have a whole aisle dedicated to the little wood signs that show off your silly home character!It takes a moment for some people to appreciate what Michaels has, especially the other half of the couple that just walked in, but the spirit of the store is energetic and thoughtful with ideas.The time to come is close to closing so you can stay focused, and no one is holding up the checkout line

Great store! I love Michaels! However, if you ever need help finding something good luck getting assistance. None of the workers on the floor ask if you need assistance, either. You need to interrupt their day to request it. Otherwise, great store!

Any time I go here it is hit or miss. The store is usually a mess and I was kind of sad to see on September 26th the fall decorations were consolidated to 1 wire cube in the middle of the floor while Christmas decorarions were taking over the store. Slow your roll, Santa! Eat some turkey first!

Love the store however I am a big bargain shopper therefore I tend to hit the clearance aisle first, but their clearance aisle is a nightmare! Its just tons of stuff thrown together with no categorization in product or pricing! Other than that, the store is clean and well kept.

Michaels had everything I needed to complete my vinyl project. Even with the holiday madness everything was in stock. There were plenty of cashiers available to get us checked out and on our way quickly.

My wife is a crafter and they pretty much have everything she needs.

A craft store that seems to now prefer too sell ready made items to crafting items. Has definitely gone down in quality over the last twenty years, but prices have gone up. Can still find some things there for cake decorating, yarn work, jewellery making, etc. Bonus is that, like its competitors, you can use coupons from competition on same items/price discounts, and they will scan coupons from your phone, which is fantastic.

Took my girlfriend to pick up some yarn, she liked the products, I liked the prices. The store was clean and well maintained. Thank you.

Good store but prices better at Joanns

I have dealt with Jenny at the framing counter on several occasions in the past month, and can honestly say her service, along with that of the rest of the staff, is some of the best Ive ever received. Even at peak times, I was treated with patience and kindness, and more than once, what might have been a complex procedure was handled with the utmost proficiency and care. Of all the art and craft supply stores Ive been to, this easily ranks the highest both in customer service and overall aptitude. Simply the best!!!

Stocked to the brink & youre sure to find what you want

Michaels does a great job when it comes to custom frames. Costly yes, but so worth it though. Spent a great deal with the frames, but once theyre home. It doesnt really matter.

Average all around. DIY crafting in general can be expensive, Michaels falls in line on this account as well. Keep in mind this is a chain & often has sales or a coupon available online. Michaels offers what you would expect from any large retail store in this category, of which your choices are limited, maybe to 3 stores remaining specifically for your crafting needs vs purchasing online or going to a Walmart with a few aisles of this product. Nothing missing but nothing stood out either, just average.
