I almost hate to give such a nice review because everybodys going to want to come here and then nobody will ever be able to get a good appointment! For the most part, they take pretty good care of you and do everything they can to make you happy. Weve used WFA for the past four years for our 2003 250k+ mile SUV and theyve always exceeded our expectations. They’re very fast and friendly, I had a 97 f150 that needed plugs replaced(not a very fun job) Midas quoted me over 900 dollars we got it done for a third of that! Took them a little longer than they anticipated but was only charged the original quote and it turned out a coil was bad as well they even told me which one needed replaced truck is running like a top now, definitely recommend wasilla family auto for all your mechanical needs!

I was in a bind with a bad coolant leak. The dealership couldnt get me in until December. I called Wasilla Family and they took me right in. Dave said I got lucky, but I think he was just being humble. I was in at 9:00 and out by 2:00 with a new water pump. I have found my new shop for all my repair needs.

My father.in.laws truck broke down and he took it to what he thought was a trusted auto shop. He authorized $200 of work. When he went to pick up his truck they asked for $600 for service. He said he didnt authorize the charges as he could have completed the work himself for that $. They said they called his wife yesterday and she authorized the work. His wife died 2 months ago.

I brought my 40 year old Mercedes classic roadster here to have front end aligned after I had replaced tie rod ends. They had the hardware and software to set alignment accurately. I was given an appointment within 24 hours and given information and helpful service. After MR Lube sold out, I didn’t know where to go for servicesI am unable to do myself. They strive to please.

10/7/19: when winter and spring come around I swap my own tires keeping two sets of rims and tires, yes I’m a do-it-yourselfer. This time around there were two of my eight tires that were seeping air; valve stem and bead leak. Typically Mr. Lube is my go to place however at 3:30pm when I stopped in they said they couldn’t take my tires nor could I leave them. I got back in my car and called Wasilla Family Auto. Izaak said they could get the tires in and complete TODAY! Dropped the tires off at 3:40 and picked them up at 4:40. WOW! Great service! Dustin even was pleasant and cordial when he loaded them into my car. The price was about $10-$15 more than the other place but I’m very thankful to have them done as I work in Anchorage and this was my best day to get tires swapped over. THANK YOU FOR GREAT SERVICE AND A CAN DO ATTITUDE!!! I’ll be back!

I had an electrical issue with my vehicle so I bought it to them, they diagnosed it and said it was the battery and tune up.after paying $300 2 months later the issue came back..I went back, because I was under the impression they would gurantee their work, since its the same issue they said they repaired.My main complaint was, instead of trying to see what the problem may have been. Or to see maybe its something they may had missed.The gentleman started to quote me 100 dollars an hour for all the issues, to a total of 300.So after failing to identify my issue that my car was in the first place.I basically paying for them to troubleshoot my car..i could understand labor or parts...but additional inspection when you failed the first time. If this is normal than ill be wrong, but Im just speaking my experience.

This place was awesome I needed an alignment before I had to put my truck away in storage and they got me right in, helped me figure out what the issue was offered several diffrent options to fix it and got me in and out in a couple hours, would definitely recommend this place, I will be bringing both my trucks to them being we just moved to wasilla and were looking for a reliable shop

Did a Rip Off job.. Charged me over a $1000.00 the 2nd time..to GLUE IN A WIRE..RIGGED IT.. IT WENT OUT TWICE ON MY ALTENATOR..& TOLD ME I OWED MORE.. TOOK ADVANTAGE OF aSENIOR CITIZEN.. Dropped off my Florida car to get winterized, top to bottom. The folks there were honest, and while I didnt like what I heard in a few things, that was an issue with Honda, not Wasilla Family Auto, and they fixed the annoying issues.Friendly, courteous, and affordable.I hope all of my service providers here meet the same standards.
