Honest and excellent job, I highly recommend Joe very honest and we will use them again if any repairs are needed on our families vehicles. Thank you againJames Rickey Stoker
Very knowledgeable guy, I called to get information about a transmission fluid change and he advised me not to do it and gave me a very clear explanation of why it’s better to leave it as it is due to the mileage, we need more honest people like this! Normally other places would try and get you to spend money unnecessarily, but this guys is truly honest and caring about his customers, not quite a customer yet but definitely will be one in the future when I need some work done!
We took our vehicle to this shop for a simple repair (water pump). The part was going to have to be ordered so we waited. Finally the part came in and they put it on. We did not even make it a mile down the road and the vehicle started smoking. They admitted to putting a faulty part on the vehicle causing more problems and agreed to try again. After months of having our vehicle and going back and forth they told us that the motor was blown and they needed 12 grand to fix it. We only went in for a simple water pump. We continued to pay for our vehicle for a year while they worked out the details to get it repaired. We then get a bill in the mail stating that we needed to pay them because the vehicle was sitting on their property. There is a lot more detail to this as well, but I would definitely not recommend using this place. They took advantage of our family and could not fix what they did.
Went to see John at Eagle Transmission in Watauga last week because my car was h having issues going into gear. I had brought it in about a year ago for the same issue. He took it in and worked with me even though the car was just a month out of warranty. He was able to help me out quickly and at a great price. Thank you so much to John and the rest of the guys!
I took my car in to get looked at, Jon at the front desk was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and I didn’t feel any pressure for extras, just parts labor and car in and out same day. Great experience.
My transmission would not engage. Talked to John, dropped my car off in the morning, picked it up the same evening. John was great! To the point and did not try to sell me on unnecessary parts. Very straight forward!
Nice courteous staff. Fingers crossed they can find out whats wrong.
Took my transmission to them. At first everything seemed okkay, they kept in touch, but come to find out they were just being slick. I, no lie had to take my truck back 4 times. They had my truck for almost 2 months. While they had it I had them work on the front end; they forgot to replace the cam bolts. I had them check into a sound it was making around the drive shift, they said it was the carrier bearing, replaced it, it still made the noise when I took it to another mechanic they replaced the U joint, problem solved. After the 4th time on the transmission I told them they did not do the job right, and I wanted my money back. They basically told me to take them to court. So out of pocket I had to take it somewhere else to be fixed. Straight up crooks!!
Women please be aware. I took in my mother in laws van for a diagnostic. I was told the torque converter needed to be replaced and transmission rebuilt. I was originally quoted $4350 from Ken the regional manger. The office manger John called me to pick it up I was charged $4850. $500 more than the original quote! I paid it and two days later my mother in law couldn’t start the car or get it into gear. I took it back and explained the same original problem. When shifting the van jumps. When it goes into reverse as well as drive. They kept the van another 3 weeks. John explained that the transmission mounts needed to be replaced. I asked why wasn’t that fine when they removed the trans. He said he would only charge me for the mounts and not labor. When we picked it up, I got in and literally THE SAME PROBLEM. During this time I have left 20 I repeat 20 messages for the regional manager. Also text messages. No reply. I went out of town and John convinced my sister I’m law to pay $1500 for the mounts! Yesterday they said they fixed it, I spoke with the owner he said he took care of. Problem is I’ve spent almost $7000 on a 2009 Nissan Quest. And the check engine light is still on. They will avoid your calls, especially if they get your money! Which you have to pay before they bring your car out to you. I am highly disappointed and do not recommend. We will also be contacting the BBB to express our concerns.
I went to one shop down the road and they told me it would be $5,845.34 to fix my transmission. But the two codes they gave me where computer problems.. I called eagles transmission and talked to John and he took care of me helped me out and saved me thousands of dollars. I will definitely be back and thank you again so much guys. It is so appreciated for helping me and taking the time out of your day to help me and not push me aside.
Customer service second to none. They reflect true concern about your vehicle problem and aim for your sincere satisfaction. Thanks
I had a very good experience at Eagle Transmission in Watauga. very reasonable prices. the explained to me everything before they did the work on my car and gave me different option to fix my car. they have a great finance option with 100 days pay as cash. I am very pleased with the service and highly recommend this shop
The dealership wanted to charge us 7400 for a new transmission. Jon and his team where able to fix the parts that needed to be fixed and saved us 1000s of dollars.Thank you
If you need Good Services and courtesy ask for Mr Garry, very helpful, smart and honest, this is from the desk of Muhammad the handyman .Allah bless all of us .Peace.
We have always experienced great customer service, professionalism and excellent work performance.
They did a great job on my mazdaspeed 3 and were very fast with the job
Super professional and efficient! Definitely recommend for anything you need!
Worst experience ever I do not recommend them at all. took them 2 weeks and half to not even have my car fixed John keep giving me excuses like wrong part came in, The new computer not working on your vehicle blah blah. I went to a different mechanic and told me he would not charge me anything if he didn’t fix the problem. This place still charged me when they didn’t even fix the problem on my vehicle.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
I can’t even begin to explain the issues I’ve had with this shop, if you’d even consider it to be one. If I could give it negative stars I would. First off, my•Car was transferred from Dads Tool Box, whom which I spoke to the owner Will who diagnosed my problem initially, and then it somehow ended up next door getting worked on without my knowledge. Second:•”mechanics” drive other customers cars to pick up other customers (who weren’t wearing masks, I am talking about myself and boyfriend) during a pandemic/ yellow soft Chrysler/ grey Lexus or Ford Focus with baby seat in the backThird:•the first time Arturo was sent to come jump the car from my driveway, (which there are cameras) the day after we were given it back “fixed” initially, he was showing me the terminals of my battery in the trunk with his live wire battery still on and let the positive negative shock together about an inch from my face, very professional.Fourth:•When the battery was last replaced and needed a computer reset, we were given the car back already running behind the shop and drove away and made it to an auto part shop down the road before the car wouldn’t start again and when we called Eagle to ask if they reset the battery John the “general manager’s” verbatim response was “um uh well we just unplugged it and plugged it back in, I think our computer reset machine isn’t working, my “electrical expert” isn’t here and told us to take it back to basically a real shop, which it ended up being BMW of Arlington. So a backhanded no, he didn’t reset the computer system. When he sent Arturo to come jump the car he put the blame of the blown fuse on the Advance Auto Parts mechanic not knowing what he was doing. Pot calling the kettle black if I’ve ever seen it.Fifth:•Arturo had to pull the blueprint layout of the car to even find the fuse box(which he never even found), when the NEW signs posted hugely on the front of the store specifically says “works on foreign vehicles” I wouldn’t even let them touch my Ford if I had one for an oil change.Sixth: When I went in July 6th for the $90 he told me he’d refund for his computer reset machine not working, he told me “the only reason he’s refunding me isn’t because they installed the battery wrong, (which I have a certified copy from BMW of Arlington stating they did) but so he won’t have to see my face in there anymore” I then asked if he was the owner to which he replied no and asked to speak to the owner to which I was denied and told him to make a note that I’d like to speak with him, which his response was “if I remember” so I’ll be calling back every day until his memory problem subsides. Also as I was walking out he told me “good luck getting someone to come jump my car” like that’s literally the only thing they could do was get it started, and also almost everyone carries cables, I only called him so his “mechanics” could get paid to come jump me for free, but I doubt I’ll be needing a jump what with BMW actually knowing what they’re doing on foreign vehicles, but I appreciate his concern although I don’t need his “mechanic” to come jump me and potentially electrocute me again. He also didn’t want to refund my other money for the other parts of the car he messed up, so I’m now dealing with the bank and actual BMW dealership that I should have done in the first place to get my money back and he then threatened to “have my car towed since he knows where we live”The most unprofessional shop and human I’ve ever had to deal with, seriously take your car to an actual dealership it’ll be worth it in the end, and if you drive a foreign vehicle definitely take it elsewhere because these huge new “works on foreign and domestic vehicles” sign was not there a week ago.
Eagle Transmission is The Best place to bring your vehicle if you want quality service at an unbeatable price. The new owner works with his customers and takes a Good ole boy approach to ensuring his customers are 100% satisfied from beginning middle and end of the job. Great experience!
Fantastic service! They took care of my transmission issue same day and they saved me $$ in the process. I highly recommend them!
My husband took our car in last week because it was not running on full power how it’s supposed to. They had it for 3 days never heard anything from them until my husband had to call and ask what was going on? They said they had checked it and ran the car and that nothing was wrong with it. We go pick it up and to my surprise it was in the same condition we took it in for. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. We had to take it to another repair shop and within a day they told us it was the motor, it needs a new one. Thankfully it’s still under warranty. But I do not recommend this shop.
Eagle Transmission on RUFE SNOW is the place to go. I had work done for my Ford Explorer and one of the technicians was sloppy and didnt do a couple of tasks properly. When I returned with an issue, the management at Eagle took responsibility and made sure that I was 100% satisfied! Even just after the warranty period, a small part broke that held things together in the shifter and while is was a part defect (not an employee issue), I took it back to Eagle and they took care of it at no extra cost to me! Amazing! Not many shops stand by their work at this level! Go go go!
Excellent service with the manager, he handled everything very well with my transmission oil change and even knocked off ten bucks from the regular price. He was already $50 less than the other guys in Fort Worth Then he gave me $10 more off. Wow what a deal. He also gave me a thorough inspection on my car. And everything sounded good. You cant ask for any more than that. I would highly recommend Eagles transmission for any of your transmission needs.
THESE PEOPLE have no idea what they are doing. Trying to tell me that both turbo chargers go out at the same time and need to replace them. Did not say they should fix the miss fire first so the computer will resetWanted $4,000 ho somewhere else
No such thing as a free diagnostic. Told me it was good nothing wrong but needed $600 to look inside the transmission could be something small. Got a bill back saying $3000. But do you really need $600 to tell me that my transfer case sensor is missing and also apparently my front driveshaft is missing... but it’s fine I went ahead and spent three grand just because my first and second slipped. But my biggest problem is that this guy thinks I don’t know anything about my truck and when I got home coolant was leaking like crazy they’re not opening Saturday or Sunday so I went to AutoZone and then replace my water pump make sure all the lines was connected well. Just so that everyone knows that your transmission cooler lines are connected to your radiator soWhen they tell me they had nothing to do with that but they charge me labor for draining out my cooler lines which didn’t makes sense. And I honestly don’t see a difference from this $3000 transmission versus a $1500 transmission from a shade tree mechanic. Multistate transmission has a way better warranty than Eagle transmission only reason why I went to eagle transmission for hoping for something more then 12,000 miles. I would’ve have been better driving the truck until it broke and not have more problems occurr. They told me I needed to buy a O2 sensor from them for $110 I bought one from autozone he said they’ll install it in for free. But it doesn’t work apparently because I need the front driveshaft for the O2 sensor to work which doesn’t make any sense at all... they wanted $1000 for front drive shaft and $400 for transfer case rebuild. They charge me a pretty penny for a transfer case but I’m curious to know why it looks old and has mud on it...
As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile! Bob taught me a little car knowledge, explained everything to me in a way a woman like me would understand and got me in right away the next morning! It was quick and easy and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here.
Was honest and upfront, fix was easy so they only charged me diagnostic!!
I had my trucked worked on . I am very pleased with the service. The manager is very knowledgeable about the transmission business. They were very honest with me and explained everything up front and gave me financing options. they answered all of my questions. I received my truck on time and it runs great. I highly recommend this shop to anybody
Found this place from google. The manager galvin is AWESOME compared to the old manager. If you call for an appointment they will send you a verify text the next day. They give FREE diagnostics and the manager actually does his job communicating between the employees and customers so you arent standing there waiting on the mechanic to stop what he is doing to talk to you about your vehicle. HIGHLY recommend this place. Worth the drive.
These guys are upfront and extremely knowledgeable about all the latest transmission and service requirements. Their work is top notch and their prices are in-line with or better than everyone else i checked. Im going back to them in a few weeks for the service on my other vehicle.Check them out, youll be glad you did.
I wasn’t sure exactly what was going on with my 07 Ford vehicle and Bob at Eagle Transmission was very helpful. The customer service was extremely professional and satisfying. The issue was something very minor and Bob fixed it for me on the spot ....thank you I’ll be a return customer.
Fast professional service
Quick tow to the shop and step by step diagnosis gave me confidence working with this location. The manager Bob gave me different options that would work with my budget to get the car back on the road. Can’t say enough about this place. They are professionals and highly recommend for honest, great work from people that care. Thanks again!

Originally we took our car into the shop because the transmission was slipping. They were very nice, and said they would take a look. We were told they could diagnose after their initial inspection for $400 (pretty standard) and they said they did not replace transmissions because it is more cost effective to rebuild. 7 days later they said they could not rebuild and would need to get a new one from the dealer for $3400. We said no, and then they said it would cost $995 in addition to the $400 to get it back. We decided it would not be in our best interest to pay $1400 just to leave. We got the car back after 10 days total. 18 days later we are driving on the highway and the transmission busts and fluid shoots out and drains all over the freeway, the car wont drive. Luckily, it came with a warranty. They come and tow it, and then blame it on the key fob after taking a look. They are now saying that the computer is registering errors and codes because of the fob and that it caused the car to break down on the highway and that this is a safety precaution. It has now been 7 days and we have not heard anything. We have called multiple times the past 2 days and have been either placed on hold and hung up on or been told we would be called back, only to never receive a call. This place is a complete scam and is trying to blame their shoddy work and incompetence on something else. We have spoken to multiple other shops in the area as well as our dealer, and they have never heard of the issues that they are describing to us. We are currently working with the dealership to see if they even bought a transmission or if there is more shady behavior going on. The red flags are alarming and numerous. Please beware and take your vehicle somewhere else.
Eagle transmission in North Richland Hills did an amazing job for me . He saved me thousands of dollars he went above and beyond to make sure that the warranty for my car was honored he even helped transfer the car to the Nissan dealership since they ended up being liable for the defect under the manufacturer warranty he set up the tow truck getting the fees covered walking me through what to do and making the sign honor the warranty all things he did not have to do. They are very honest hard-working and trustworthy, which is hard to find. He was respectful and explained things to me and never talked down.
They were completely honest with me and great to work with and they worked quickly. They even saved me some money in the process! I would highly recommend them as your go-to repair shop. Also, Bob at the front is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Thanks Eagle.
Not bad but not that great.I selected Eagle Transmission based on their good reviews. I took my daughters 2013 Scion FRS there to get the throw out bearing and clutch replaced. Two days later they called and said it was ready. I picked it up and noticed it was hard to get into first and second gear, but thought it needed to be broken in. After researching online I figured out they didn’t adjust the reverse lockout properly. So I took the car back with a diagram of how to adjust it.I went back a second time to get it, and driving home I got it into first gear great, but now second gear didn’t work. The guy said he only tested first gear and thought it was good.I come back a third time, it seems to have been fixed. Every time I come to get it, some of the plastic is not put back together and we have to snap it back ourselves. My daughter is not convinced they did the job right, she says the clutch pedal travel is shorter and she is concerned about it, but they gave us a 12000 mile 12 month warranty if something goes wrong. I think it felt fine, but she said it doesn’t feel like it used too, and she’s the one who drives the car, not me.Unfortunately it wasn’t a warm and fuzzy feel good process, and I would have payed a premium to take it to the dealer if I had it to do over with. It doesn’t feel like it should, but I don’t have confidence in taking it back to them to get it right.
Called the shop to ask some questions about my car and some symptoms that I was having with it. The guy on the phone told me that it was impossible to help me over the phone and insisted that I come in. He told me that it sounded like a bad transmission from his experience but his experience couldn’t tell me roughly what it might cost. He had a rude attitude and didn’t really even seem to want to get my business. He said I could come in for a diagnostic service but that I had to drop off my car and waiting wasn’t really an option. Seems like they wanted to make working with them inconvenient and that they didn’t want me there at all. Would waiting around make it to hard to tell me that I need repairs that I don’t really need?
The guys did a great job coordinating with the shop in Parker CO. 4 stars for Eagle Transmission shops across the country..I would recommend either-one.
Steven & Jeff did awesome job taking care of me and my antique camaro. They always answered tha phone. Happy to answer all my dumb questions. Stayed late, met me after hours for pick-up, and went over and beyond to get me done. Respect!!!!
I was very pleased with their service. they towed my car for free. didnt charge me for diagnostics. they helped me obtain financing and got me back on the road quickly. my truck has been running with no issues since then.
The service has been awesome. Always friendly and reliable!
The manager did a gear job. He sent two truck for my car for free and did free diagnostics. Educated me on the problem he found with my transmission I authorized the work and I got my car a couple of days later. I am back on the road. They saved me a bunch of money comparing to other shops and only did what needed. I felt very comfortable with this shop. I am pleased
Great shop! Service is awesome. Thanks to Bob and team for getting me on the road quickly.
I took my suv into Steven and Jeff to be fixed . Ford brought them a new transmission to put into my car and my warranty company paid to have it fixed . Had issues from day 1 had to have it towed to this shop for a second time . They worked on it again keep in mind it was a brandnew transmission . After it was worked on again had to take back again .This time they said they took out the brandnew transmission and replaced it with a rebuilt, still having issues .Called to take it back in neither of them are working there anymore and I have a transmission that runs like a 2 year old built it . I need my car fixed . Not sure what to do now !!!I need help ! This is Eagle Transmission responsibly to fix !
I was having trouble with my Dodge Dart’s Steering column that caused my windshield wiper motor to stay on. Bob was able to take a look at it immediately a day after calling him to let him know what the issue with my car was. He gave me a free quote, and my car was able to be fixed a couple of weeks afterward at the price quoted.Bob’s service and engagement was above and beyond anything that I had ever expected from a shop. I took my car on a Monday and he told me it would be ready by the next day, and so it was. Bob has earned my trust, by not only staying true to his word, but by delivering quality service you’d expect from a car shop. This will be the shop that I continue to go to whenever an issue with my car may arise again. Thank you, Bob!
Transmission went out on my 1991 s-10. all original, never been worked on. Jesse and crew rebuilt trans and works good as new. also have had them do some minor (for them) repairs on my 91 camaro and on the s-10. work done quickly and professionally. all at a reasonable price. will be returning for more repairs when needed. thanks guys.
I have done a lot research online to find a good transmission shop to fix the transmission issue I was experiencing last week. I talked to some friends for recommendations.one friend referred to Eagle Transmission Watauga. he told me they rebuilt his truck transmission last year and he was very happy with their service. I decided to give them a try. they have explained to me the initial diagnosis and took me to the back and showed me the issue with my transmission . they explained everything upfront nd gave me several options and worked with my budget. they spared me from having to start another car loan. Car has been running great so far. I am glad I choose this shop and I recommend it
Car battery kept dying and we had no clue where to take it. Thankfully we came here! Friendly helpfull staff had us in and out in no time at all. Definitely will be back.
Excellent service. Experienced and friendly staff I was happy with their service. They took care of my car and I was back on the road in little time
I love my job there Jed n Steven are wonderful polite staff
I was traveling between Amarillo and Baton Rouge and my car started acting like the transmission was slipping as we got to Dallas. I called and the manager was so sweet to me. They were about to close but he said he would wait for me to get there. He got it up on the lift and figured out my transmission was fine, and then suggested a mechanic for me in the morning. This is what the world needs more of, people that care. He saw that I was clearly distressed and calmed me and my kids and even pet and played with my pups. Thank you so much for being amazing and taking time out of YOUR life to help someone!
Bob is amazing ! Eagle transmission has been, by far, the best automotive establishment I have ever had the pleasure of doing buisness with! This will be my go to auto shop for the rest of my time here in Texas be it 10 months or 12 years !
Great prices great service
I had my clutch replaced by Eagle. It was one of the most reasonably priced out of the shops that I contacted and they did amazing work. They kept in communication and made sure that there were no surprises. I have driven my car for weeks without any issues. I would recommend them to anyone and give them all of my future business.
Bob and the team at Eagle Transmission did a fantastic job on the rebuild for my 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4. I trust thier workmanship and warranty.
Very pleased with the service here. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. The work was also done quickly, and for a reasonable price.
At first my experience at this place has been bad. I do understand that when you were sick not everybody’s going to be the nicest person however Mr. Jed kindly call me back and after our resolution I am completely satisfied with the outcome Mr. Jed is the man who really cares about his customers overall great experience
I took my work truck in when I was having problems with my breaks. They gave me a diagnostics of the problem for free and the price for the repair was more than acceptable. Highly recommend this shop. I will definitely be using them for repairs in the future.
Leaving my car in Fort Worth for a week was absolutely stressful, but Bob and his team assured me everything would be taken care of and they definitely delivered on their promise. They didn’t break my bank at all and made my anxiety about being 3 hours away from my car 100x more bearable.
They did a great job of working with me, helping me get back on the road, jeff and steven are great people who care about their customers. will always be back at this place for any work i need some on my car!!
Bob and his crew treated me like I was part of their family. and they took really good care of my car no doubt that if anything else goes wrong with my car that this will be the place that I go back to.
No matter what my auto needs, I ALWAYS start with Eagle Transmission.Dont let the name fool you --- they can handle just about anything you throw at them. What a great relief, in todays society where the norm is you expect to get ripped off,you can rely on honest work at a fair price.I highly recommend Eagle Transmission for ALL auto related issues.
I called a while back and asked about my 96 Mazda Protege because it was slipping and not working right. They were going to charge me $350+ JUST TO LOOK! Not even to fix, and even if they were going to fix there wouldnt be much of a warranty. DO NOT go to EAGLE!I then called around and found Transmission Masters off of 820 and Navajo Trail in Lake Worth. I took it over to them and they drove it once, knew what was wrong, told me what was going on, let me know what needed to be repaired and the cost, which ended up being about 2500 to fix (a total rebuild). BUT this came with a LIFETIME labor warranty!!! AMAZING! On top of that, theyve got fantastic customer service and they stayed around after hours so I could come pick up my car. Truly amazing service is hard to find.Cheaper and better is out there :)
I am very happy with the service of my car. I had my transmission rebuilt there. my cars runs with no issues. they also helped me with financing and saved me from have to finance another car
They rebuilt my 08 f-150 transmission and they did a very good job then I took my oddossy van and also had done a very well job thank you Mr.Bob I can truly rely on your work 👍
Need to protect people like bob at costs love this place and love bob as well he’s someone you can trust for sure🙂😊
Sitting in my vehicle eating lunch, my engine started to stall, I was just down the street to Eagle Transmission, I went in for them to give me a diagnostic test, within 2 minutes, they communicated to me my catalytic converter was clogged (due to smell), suggested I go next door to have it looked at. Got it replaced, but I was still having issues. A few days later, I went back to Eagle for them to a diagnostic. They gave me the diagnosis and a good price to complete the work. I ended up doing the work myself (replaced plugs & wires and ignition coil). To my surprise, Jesse didnt charge me for the diagnostic. Any repair that I can not do, I will definitely go back to use their service. They are honest and professional.. Thanks
I had a GREAT experience at Eagle Transmission and have recommended to family and friends! They have honest mechanics, great customer service, and the fairest prices out there. If you are needing work done on your vehicle I would go to Eagle Transmission on Rufe Snow!
Great Service. very reasonable price. The Manager was very helpful and the completed the repair as promissed
I would like to tell everyone what a wonderful experience I had with Eagle! Jesse Garcia was up front with everything that was wrong with my transmission. Let me know cost within 3 hrs and had my truck back within 24 hours. I can tell you this I will recommend Eagle to anyone that ask me about transmission work they may need. Thank you Jesse for your quick action to a bad situation for me.
I had Eagle put my transmission in for me that I purchased. They gave me a great price & were done in a timely fashion. I appreciate their honesty & professionalism. I found a place I can trust with my car repairs. Thank you Eagle Transmission!
Great service. Friendly friendly staff
After researching the entire database, there has never been work done by Eagle Transmission - Watauga for a Josh Turner shown on our records. There may be some confusion as to the shop. We welcome anyone to contact our manager directly and produce an invoice showing services provided, and as always, we will work to provide great customer service. Our great reviews speak for themselves.
As of right now its a 5. The initial job they did and customer service would have been a 5+, especially Coit. However, I got my Jeep back yesterday. I had the rear differential rebuilt and rear axles replaced. To day, driving sown the road, the rear drive shaft comes apart and punches a hole in my muffler. They had to undo the rear drive shaft to work on it. They say its not their fault its a different repair. Well it is now because they screwed it up. I spent 1700 with them. Now they are denying any responsibility. As long as we can resolve this I will be more than happy to update and leave them 5 star rating.
Very upstanding and straight forward. Great work so far and plan to keep coming back.
Mr. Bob is a great guy. Thanks for all your help.
I am here to say these guys are no good. Went to them for transmission work. I was quoted $1400.00, after they took down my transmission, Bob said it would be $1700.00, ok I made payment in advance .When they were done, got a call, my car was fixed . Got home, a few hours later, there was a huge oil spill, underneath my car, in my garage, I was really upset.I called back, Bob told me to bring the car back. I told him, I dont think the front seals were put in, he called the next day, he said the car was fixed, the lines were not tightened correctly SO HE SAID. Drove it home, next day there was a huge oil spill again. Called back, I was told his on vacation, called back in a week time. He tells me, he cant work me in, to call him the following week, ok so I did. I fell to mention, the first time, he called me and said he couldnt start my car, it has an alarm, so they disarmed it, WHY? Still dont understand. They didnt even put it back together, broke my door handle, Bob, said cause the car is old, it happens. Which is Bull, the second time, I took it, the push button, to the gear shift was on the floor, there was scratches, I over looked this, cause I just wanted my transmission fixed. The first time, Bob drove it, he said it wasnt right, then he tells me they put the wrong, governor. That my car has a V6 transmission, really? My car is a 87 Trans am gta, 700R4 transmission. I think they took my torque converter, replaced it with something less, there is no power, like before. Called Bob, he told me to bring my car in the morning. I told him I would be there . But than again why, nothing good will come out of it, losing 1700 hundred dollars, hurts, just cant go a third time around. WHAT GOES AROUND. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, DONT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS.
Took my car there 6 times and spent $1400 for eagle to *not* fix my transmission. The mechanic warned me the 6th time that the manager had charged us for services he knew wouldnt fix my car (against their master mechanics wishes) and then decided we still needed to pay another $2400 before they would actually fix it. They are crooks and you cannot trust them. Any honest employees there would do better to find another shop to work for.
Really nice people they keep you calm when your really not🤩
Excellent Service, Good prices. Very friendly manager.I recommend it
I brought my 2008 dodge ram 2500 4x4 to Jesse and he did a great job.. Highly recommend them, the new manager Bob definately did a great job as to keeping me updated on the progress and was very quick about getting me back in my truck.. definately is running the place right👌 not like the last guy,& well thanxs to them my truck is now running like a brand new truck🐏🔥🤘💪🚜Pulling gooseneck trailers loaded and pulling like a champion👌💪
Took my car in for transmission issues. Was told an unofficial quote at 400. Then the official quote was 800. Car parts were 200 which meant 600 for labor. The job was only about an hour so we fixed it ourselves. Wont be going back.
BE VERY CAREFUL!!! WAY OVER PRICED!!! I had previously taken my car to two other shops because it kept shutting down at stops and losing power but nobody could figure out what was wrong ( was not the alternator). I explained to Bob what was going on and he told me they would clean the connections to all the computers for the car and see if that could fix it. He was polite and all and wanted to make sure I knew what they were gonna do to my car. I picked it up and the first thing I noticed is an issue with the right front tire. Ignored it because maybe its just an old car being weird. Car ran great until Service Engine Soon light came back on. I took it back and Bob said they would check it for free. Great! When I dropped the car off, I asked something about a previous conversation regarding my car and he seemed annoyed and told me he hadnt even charged me anything. Well, thats not true because I paid $220 which he then asked how to spell my name and found me in their system. We left and later got the quote for changing the crank shaft position sensor, fixing issue with front right tire with a $50 he was adding was $423 and change. He said he had told me about the issue with the front right tire but thought we had agreed to only fix whatever was causing my car to shut off. He never mentioned another issue during the first repair so I never declined that repair. We approved those two repairs and he was also going to get back to us about a p0171 code that was showing up, said he was doing some research but didnt know yet. weekend goes by, husband calls on Monday to get ETA on repair and also asked if he had an ETA on when he might know about the third issue. Bob didnt even answer that question just said he was trying to have the car ready by 5. I later called to get the code he couldnt figure out and he also mentions hes still waiting on a part which might not be there till 4:30.OK so I type in the code on youtube for my car and the first video literally shows how to also change the part. so I called him back and told him not to do any more work on my car that I would be taking it somewhere else. I ended up paying $268.89 ($146.78 for crankshaft position sensor and $110 for 1 hour of labor .part is apparently no more than $40 and takes maybe 20 minutes to changes it start to finish.) I understand they need to make a profit but 3x more on a part and labor? Oh and we checked my car and yes it was a torn air boot which when you pop the hood is CLEARLY ripped. so the youtube video was correct. could have taken it to orileys and had them hook it up to check for any codes for free and fixed the issue ourselves but trusted them since they had fixed the original issue. im honestly really disappointed because I thought this was the place I would be taking my car to for any repairs but clearly I was wrong. Just be careful and check prices and such before approving repairs.
We have been using them for a few years now. They are proactive, professional, and they worked with us when we needed time to pay for a repair (with no storage or towing fee!). We use them with our cars and our daughters.
Great phone presence; terrible business practices.
Excellent Service, Honest People and I would recommend this place to others in need of a repair with an Excellent Warranty Program. Glad I took my Honda Civic to this place, money was well spent.
Transmission lasted for 34 days. When i took it in for warranty repair they said they cant do anything with it cus there was water in the transmission but when i took it in the first time there was no water in it.
2006 Expedition runs like new. Had what felt like an overdrive engage/disengage problem. Thankfully it was not the transmission. The issue was the engine required coils and plugs on 7 cylinders. Just so happened between 40 and 50 mph only with no engine light. I am an ancient gearhead...when 4 barrel double pump carbs and ignition points went away, I also exited the scene. I am very pleased with how the Expedition runs. So thats it...take it or leave it. One more thing...be patient with the gearheads and your car repairs, no matter who you go with.
NOT BAD NOT GOODOk so I will say that this place replaced the clutch and hydraulics my 01 Jeep Wrangler very quickly and had it back to me by COB the next day. However, they are not the friendliest sorts and the repair was over $900 bucks. I even supplied my own clutch kit!! This is really high IMO but I was in a pinch.Replacing a clutch in my vehicles requires removing the transmission. Replacing the hydraulics however is about a 30 min job max. They charged me 1.5 hours labor ($100/hr labor rate) and $240 for the Master/Slave cylinder. Which was OEM but an after market OE Equal is about $100 online. He also said... we have to bleed this..etc etc. However, with a bit more research I found that the now come sealed and pre-bled at he factory. But again I was in a pinch so I didnt have the luxury to order part and do repair myself.I bickered with the shop manager Jesse a bit about the prices but this place is a chain so not much I could do. This is the kinda place that will get the work done but they will try and upsell you on every little thing and tell you that you need to pay for work that you really dont need. The will give you the while we are in their we might as well (spend $500) do this When you say no then theyll give you a line about not being able to warranty the work or say something like well I dont fix X without replacing Y as wellMay or may not be a good thing. Overall I would trust them not to do bad work but wouldnt necessarily recommend them either.
Wonderful. .. Very honest and helpful.. Cares about their customers. . Top notch!!!!
These guys are straight shooters. Very dependable and honest.
Very poor customer service.
Eagle Transmission in Watauga just saved me from getting cheated by a dishonest mechanic shop. These guys picked up my car from the dishonest mechanic, diagnosed the problem for FREE, and fixed my transmission for just a little over $200. The other place was going to charge me almost $500 JUST to find out what was wrong with the car and then charge me for labor and parts on top of that. Eagle just saved me a lot of money and a lot of hassle that I didnt need and all I did was call them to make sure I was being treated fairly by the other place. More mechanic shops need to follow Eagles example, because they just earned a customer for life!!
Great info, very knowledgeable, and fair pricing
I took my truck to their shop for a rough shift issue and after they charged me the vehicle would not run at all I had to take it to another shop for repairs because They stopped answering their phones when I called and they also refused to refund my money STAY AWAY!!!
Honest knowledgeable mechanics
