Nice, clean store. Very Fresh produce. Friendly and helpful employees. Would be a 5 star if they had more selection of gluten and dairy free food. Examples to stock: Plant based margarine sticks(country crock), dairy free chip dip, kitehill sour cream, gluten and dairy free frozen meals, etc.

I really appreciate this Hy-Vee. I love the variety of fresh produce. Every time Ive gone in, the staff have been friendly and welcoming. Glad to see a variety of sour beers at the wine and spirits.

This is about the pharmacy. The older lady told me that the doctors hadnt got back to about my refill of insulin. So I called my doctor and talked to his nurse about the pharmacy not getting the response for refills. The nurse informed me the refills had been sent on the 16th. So the nurse called the pharmacy to find out what what the issue was and the lady at the pharmacy tried to say I hadnt asked about my insulin. So the lady lied to my doctors nurse. In fact the pharmacy had three refills and the request for more refills wasnt needed. I will no longer go to Hy-Vee Pharmacy for my prescriptions.

Hecktek! Very good ad this week plus on online reward card specials, and coupons on my reward card. Then at register, not all would show on card. Had to show on phone what I was to get. Customer service gal had to correct at register. I beginning to hate shopping due to things like this. You want us to use our HyVee card with online specials and then try to rip us in the end. Very frustrating. Another employee said he knew of 2 other customers today having same problem. Fareway is looking better.

The bakery is awesome along with a good quantity and quality of vegetables and fruits. prices are a little high but not too bad only thing bad I can say about this store is there is never enough people on the registers you have to wait forever!! to get checked out, and theres no self check out

Got Chinese food for dinner. Was delicious but was not happy they dont have the red sweet n sour sauce in a bowl for egg rolls anymore. Gotta have that sauce so I bought 6 egg rolls for nothing. Hate the packet sauce

Coronavirus Alert. I used to feel safe shopping here because all of the employees were wearing a mask. Unfortunately now only half of the employees are wearing a mask. Yesterday when shopping I saw four employees wearing no mask or face protection at all walking through the store and talking up front. 5 other employees have a visor on but no mask which makes no sense because the virus is transported through air as well. I do not feel comfortable shopping here and will not be coming back. Also they do not require people to wear a mask they just suggest it. I wish you cared about your customers.

HyVee in Charles City is our local hometown Hy-Vee It is always our to-go place. Or I should say go to plays when it comes to groceries. We love doing the Hy-Vee aisles online Its our favorite way to shop. It helps you not get too much but just enough lol. We also utilize the HyVee pharmacy. Its always our go-to pharmacy when we are needing something. They always have it ready for us right away and are so easy to work with. I just got my flu shot this year at Hy-Vee and it was a great experience.

Just like any other store but the manager and his staff were really rude and ther was a under age girl only 17 selling liquor 😒

Really disgusted with the way employees treat handicapped persons. I am one such handicapped person that was very rudely treated. Especially by the blonde at Customer Service on April 13 th 2021 at the 6 pm time.

Not good today. Their front manager tonight was not wearing a mask. She was interacting with employees and customers up close and not wearing the mask that she had around her neck. She would specifically remove the mask when talking to us. If hyvee leadership cant take our safety more seriously than that, Ill go somewhere else!

I go to this particular location because if their amazing meat counter. I tell them what I want to accomplish and they tell me what u need and how to prepare it. Very knowledgeable and friendly!

Great local grocery store. They always have everything I am looking for. The meat counter is the best they always have sales and knowledgeable service. The fresh produce is the best in the area always stocked and fresh. This is a great grocery store of all of your needs especially if you like fresh foods.

Service was great from every employee aside form the manager of the store, Tony. I was beside myself to see the way he was treating his employees and staff. He was very short and disrespectful. I have had encounters with him and his service has always been lackluster. All my future business will now be going to Fareway

Good selection, price is a huge issue. They play games with their meat pricing by going away from traditional price per lbs and hide inflated prices by advertising by each or bundle 3 for $x.xx. When you equate out price per pound you realize your getting screwed. Dont appreciate the deception and we only shop there to pick up something we missed on a Sunday. We shop in this order for groceries Fareway, Wal Mart, Hy-Vee. Hy-Vee used to be our first choice, sadly, not anymore. They got greedy I guess...

This store provides all that you need for everyday living, and for those special occasions. Make sure to stop the various deli sections .. especially the meat department for the variety of great Brats and Burgers. Nothing like having fun and enjoying quality products when you eat.

Their selection is pretty good for a small town store, but they desperately need to train their people better. Nobody can ever help me find anything, and they continually try to bag my raw meat in the same bag as cooked meat or produce items (this has happened five visits in a row now, so not just a fluke). Hello, cross contamination!

The guy who was working back in the meat department was not friendly at all. He was rude.

Alot there! The produce is amazing and fresh....the meat selections are great and they have some good deals as well. They have a great deli which you can see order from and then go sit down and eat there as they have tables there for you to sit and eat at. The customer service is great as well, very polite, always making sure customers are taken care of.

Very clean and well organized store. Ate breakfast here and they have a great selection and the prices are good. Came from out of town and it reminded me of my local grocery store. The staff is very polite and ready to help you at a drop of a dime. Will be shopping here again when back in town.

When i come home to visit this is always a breakfast stop for me. For decades i have recieved great food and customer service and will continue to do so.

The prices on some items are kind of high. But the store is very clean there are Associates everywhere to help you find stuff theyre very friendly. The food is of great quality their produce is a great quality. Their customer service is definitely spot-on.

They used to be open late, which was great for me, as I dont get off work until around midnight. Now they close earlier, and I am usually unable to shop with them during the week because of this.

Everything was in stock, always great place to shop.

Hy-Vee is a pretty great grocery store. Wish we had them in Florida! Good prices, lots of options, expansive liquor selection, local stuff abound. The store brand stuff isnt bad either, and a fraction of the price of the brand name stuff.

Take a calculator. They like to price by the individual item. Like 10 for $10. Figure the price per pound and you will find it is not a good deal! Gas discount...what a ripoff!

I enjoy HyVee shopping as most items are located in the same area from one store to the next. I like the monthly sale flyer over just a weekly one. I can save on gas when I shop,too.

I came for the Tuesday Special. Hamburger and unlimited french fries. Ended up with an emotionless burger and fries that have been there for at least an hour. I guess the empty cafe at 6 o clock should have been a red flag.

Breakfast food is mostly unimaginative and processed so I ordered oatmeal. Silverware not very clean. Coffee not very good. Still, its open for breakfast on Mondays, so that puts it higher on the list than the local diners. Place is packed with chatty seniors.

Hyvee is my go-to store. Generally they offer everything from health-food to baked goods. The employees are friendly and always ready to help me find an item. You cant go wrong at Hyvee.
