This place has tons of choices boots, skis and other equipment. Staff is passionate and provides you with a great deal of expertise to select the right equipment. We find Johnsey really helpful. The mounted the bindings on the skis within half an hour. A very well deserved five star

I went to ski barn today to rent skis for the first time. I haven’t had my own set in years so I wasn’t sure what to look for. The rental staff was extremely friendly and so helpful in finding me the best skis and boots. Afterwards I was buying some other ski gear and the floor staff gave me some great tips on what was the best stuff to buy. Shout out to Danica & Wayne! So friendly! I will definitely be returning for other ski gear in the future!!! Love this place!

As someone whos been skiing for 46 years Ive purchased a pair of ski boots or two. As someone in the customer experience business I know bad service when I see it, and outstanding service when its experienced first hand. Dan and Doug did a great job in assessing my needs, guided me thru their selection of boots, picked the ones best suited as per my skiing profile and then made the necessary custom fitting adjustments. They know their stuff. Highly recommend them.

Great experience buying my first pair of ski pants today! Retail employee Daphne and manager Danica were extremely kind and helped me through the whole process. They worked patiently with me until we found the perfect fit. I cant wait to hit the slopes in my new stuff! Highly recommend this location for all your snow sport needs.

Fantastic and well informed staff. Blaine advised me on what would be best for my first snowboard and I am so confident I made the best decision. They worked with me to keep everything within my price range and meet criteria I hadnt even considered. Although I know this board and these bindings are going to last me a long while, I know I will be back soon with my sons when they are bit older.

Bought a pair of snowboard boots here 1.5 months ago.. they ripped and the manufacturer Told me to bring them back to the retailer.I Brought them in, 15 mins before closing. They looked them over, tried to fix them but were fearful the fix wouldn’t hold. They then asked me if I was done for the season and when I said no they went to the back, grabbed me a new set of boots, heat molded them and told me they would deal with the manufacturer so I didn’t have to wait for new boots.Excellent services!!!

My brothers and I have been going to Ski Barn at Wayne and Paramus locations for at least 15 years to rent equipment for the kids. The rental staff are great and the equipment is generally very good. This year, i went a bit late (12/27) and the stock was extremely limited - they said it has been the busiest year for rentals ever with over 20,000 orders filled. During the pandemic, the store was a little overcrowded in my opinion.As for shopping winter clothing there, they really only carry high end stuff so its on the pricy side but its good. For ski and snowboard equipment, the staff is as knowledgeable as you can expect and there is a good selection.

Amazing experience every year. Most recently we went to get my son his rentals for the season. Everyone was so helpful and courteous it went super smoothly and my son is thrilled with his skis and boots. Thank you ski barn for another great experience!

This is my first Google review – Ski Barn on Rt. 23. I felt the need to publicly thank Greg who works there. I have known him for over a decade. I began skiing when I was two and a half, and have experienced many boots/ski stores. Greg is an artist, his ability to work with you/your boots, the specificity of his technique, is unparalleled. He is the best boot-fitter. It’s important to make an appointment with him ahead of time, as he is typically fully scheduled a month in advance. Stopped by the Wayne store (for the first time) to have the rivet that holds my upper boot strap in place removed, so that I could have it repaired. It was busy but I was assisted promptly. Within the short wait time I noticed personable, helpful employees was a consistent standard throughout the store. Thanks guys for great customer service.

My family has been shopping here for the past 10 years. The service and variety of products can not be beat. Everyone is very knowledgeable and guys take their time to set you up with the right pair. Jonny and Mike have been very helpful in helping with proper boot fitting. If you buy equipment from them, you are guaranteed the best service if adjustments are needed. Highly recommend this place for new equipment and seasonal rentals for kids. Clothing variety is great too.

Visited Ski Barn in Wayne NJ today and had a great experience. I drove about 45mins from Staten Island NY because I read that theyre the best boot fitters around and they definitely are!! Boot fitter Mike D. did everything that could be done to my very old boots to get the fit as tight as possible, which is what I was looking for. He really went above and beyond and I will definitely visit this location whenever I need ski gear. They were even able to wax and sharpen my skis in less than 30 mins. I highly recommend this particular Ski Barn to anyone who has any skiing/snowboarding needs.

I have been going here for years and have never had nothing but professional service in all departments. I took my daughter for a new ski jacket, and Sara, helped us. After my first trip to the slopes this season, I had a problem with my rental boots not fitting properly and so took them back to see what could be done. Mike D. helped me and realized that there may have been an issue with my foot not conforming to the shape of the used liner. Instead of having me try a different set of rentals, he gave me a brand new pair to wear for the season, saying that it was compensation for my troubles on the first pair.These guys really do go above and beyond to make your ski experience a superlative one. My family and I will certainly be back next season for rentals!

I made a $6k purchase back in July 2019 which included an outside table. When delivered it came with a broken piece. After some back and forth Ski Barn was unable to fix the table so, instead, they replaced it with an upgraded table. The came to my home, removed the old table, replaced with the new table and even dropped off some wine as an apology. You can tell they take the relationship with their customers extremely seriously. I am grateful for the resolution.

Family moved to NJ from Texas last summer, and this family company made us feel at home and helped us all get equipped with great rental gear as we picked up skiing and snowboarding for the first time. Had such a great season on the slopes, came back and purchased custom equipment for myself with their expert help, but my kids will continue to rent as they grow. Incredible service, best selection around of clothing that will keep you warm, dry, and looking good at competitive prices. Can’t say enough about this company and the team they have!

Ski Barn is a one-stop shop for quality winter clothing and sporting products. They have an enormous selection to choose from and their location right off of Rt. 23 is very convenient. Not only are their products top notch, but the staff is extraordinary friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I was in a serious pinch this holiday season finding a last minute Christmas gift and employees at Ski Barn gave great recommendations. They even quickly shipped the item I needed their Wayne location when every other store in the area was out-of-stock. Theres simply no reason to go anywhere else. Kudos.

Hands down the best experience Ive had at a Ski Barn. After having been to the Paramus location and renting ill-fitting ski boots, I came to the Wayne location and Mike (I wish I knew his last name!) did a full assessment and made a MUCH better recommendation for ski boots. He was so friendly and helpful, and also offered to heat mold my boots for an even better fit. I am so grateful! A female associate (I didnt get a first name for her, unfortunately) also helped me find a pair of ski pants that fit exactly what I was looking for. I left with exactly what I needed and having had a great experience. I will never go to another ski barn!!

Recently had a wonderful experience with Ski Barn on Rte 23N Wayne. My husband and I went in a few weekends ago looking for a new grill. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the selection of Weber grills was great. We decided to purchase, placed the order at the beginning of the week and, today, the grill was delivered. The guys who delivered the grill arrived on the early side of the 3 hour window I was given, carried the grill up onto my deck and even took the propane tank off of our old grill and connected it to the new one for me. If youre looking for outdoor furniture and great customer service, this is the place to go.

This place is great and the customer service is second to none. Got a pair of Atomic Hawx Magna and I have to tell you that they are the best boots Ive ever worn. Greg is the best boot fitter in the business and I would highly recommend booking an appointment with him. His schedule is packed but worth the extra effort.

This is the best place to buy ski equipment in the Northern New Jersey area. I highly recommend coming here because of there nice, helpful staff, who guide you through every step into your ski/snowboard rental or purchase. I have been with Ski Barn for 9-10 years and they’ve not let me down since.

This ski barn is the place to go. The staff here is outstanding and so is the selection. There is someone here who can set you up for the first time, help you upgrade your kit or just offer some advice. These people ride and ski where we ride and ski and it goes a long way toward getting the most out of your season.

Awesome store! Staff was super nice and helped me find the right pair of gloves and I love them. Grabbed a sled on the way out too for the snowstorm coming! Anything you need for winter is in that store.

I had a really great experience at Ski Barn. My snowboard boots were always uncomfortable. My friend had such a great experience getting fitted for his boots and bindings that I thought it was worth a try to bring my boots in and see if another boot would be better. Jack helped me and was really helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I went with the new K2s and they are much more comfortable. And they were actually the right size so that helped. With comfort so important, Im happy I made the effort. Check it out before you head up on your next trip. With good snow so rare around here, we have to make each trip count.

Fast friendly service on snowboard and ski equipment rentals

Not very friendly. Got the Feeling we are on an assembly line. I know they have to deal with a lot of people, but thats where training comes in. You can take care of people quickly and so make them feel welcome and as valuable customers.

Staff knowledge varies, but selection of products is good. Prices are high though. I guess they tell you the product quality is better than big box stores and that is likely true. I got a good warrantee on outdoor furniture, so you would expect it to last.

I was on my way to mt creek and remembered that I needed a new helmet so I stopped in and was met by great staff that really spent time to help me choose the best helmet for me and I ended up buying a new pair of boots too, which unfortunately hurt my feet so badly the following day on the slushy artificialness of Mt creek that I had to go back to my old pair, so the day wasnt a total loss...when I called the shop I was told that I wouldnt be allowed to return or exchange them, even though I just bought them the night before but after speaking to the manager he suggested bringing them back and they would try to mold them for me or something which was really upsetting and kind of ruined my day after spending so much time and money on the boots. In the end they exchanged them for me, I spent more money so good customer service always helps your business!

Weve done season rentals here for past 2 seasons. Very helpful staff. Go park in the back so after getting rentals you can easily load up using the back entrance.

It was a Michelin star bootfitting experience, Top notch service from start to finish.

They do a promo for free kids rental under 5. Called and they told me to come in for a 3 year old (Wendy). A waste of time, told they “we can rent you new skis for $140” we are all out of the used free ones. A bit of a bait and switch and disappointing. Going to Mount Everest at least they are more upfront on stock (also have the free promo for under 5).

I had a great experience with Greg the boot fitter, he really took the time to make sure I was happy with my boots before I left. The store has a good selection of products for both skiers and snow borders. The rest entire staff was very friendly.

Got my new boots heat molded last night. The staff were fantastic really attentive, reheated the boot when I was still working on getting toes right, they stayed late after closing time and I never felt rushed, just cared for. Great selection of equipment.

So heres how this craziness went down..... I was at ski barn in Paramus and Willy sure gave meWilly and measured my boots wrongI went skiing and waddya know... They got 2 fingers in my boots... Not one... Two!!!!!! So Nelly sent me right to B Murph who hooked it up. We were originally with the 100s and but we had to go back to the 45 so really what Im trying to say is B Murph is the MVP. Got me in the best fitting Atomic 110s your eyes have ever seen. Stay far away from Willy unless your looking to get 2 fingers in there..

The ski service is very good. Ask for Greg Pier he is the expert and he can customize your boots. Greg will examine your foot and create a perfect fit for your needs.
