It was my first time going here today because I am new to the area, I figured I would try this place. Everyone was nice and helpful except the lady at the front desk. I thought she was very rude, and by the looks of these reviews, I am not the only one. It is safe to say I will not return to this location and would not recommend this place.

Looking for an optometrist in town and these reviews have made me not want to look here. For the past year people have blasted the rude lady at the front desk over and over and apparently the owner keeps saying sorry we let you down we will look into it..... maybe the owner is the rude lady since obviously nothing has been done about the issue. I will keep on looking!!

Went here almost a year ago, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and now Im trying to call to get a copy of the prescription I was given, since it doesnt expire for a few more months, and no one answers the phone. Been calling every 30 minutes for 2 hours hoping someone would pick up in between other calls or clients. Its 3PM on Wednesday. Ridiculous that no one will pick up. Ive worked in doctors offices for years, there is no reason for this.

Christa took exceptional care of me. She provided superb customer service, even helping me find a sassy second pair. The selection of frames is extensive and covers many styles and price points. I will return to this location when its time. Thanks for a great shopping experience!

I’ve been out of state since March due to covid and Christa was so nice and helpful when I needed to reorder contacts. She handled all of the interaction with my regular eye doctor and I was able to reorder my supply in less than 10 minutes on the phone with her. Dealing with eye doctors is usually such a production but Christa really made it so much easier.

The women that is at the desk at Eye Dr was so rude o wouldn’t ever do business there!!! I have never felt so uncomfortable ever in my life as I was there! So sad for a business to loose a customer from first contact of a horrible person!

Tried calling,no answer. Finally got ahold of a sales rep (#2 in the option menu), he didnt know where anyone was. Its 10am on a Tuesday, how does someone not know where the Dr. is? Website was even less useful, option to schedule online never popped up. What is going on here?!

Overcharged at eye doctor, rude receptionist. extremely fake attendants at visionworks, laughed extremely rude and loudly when my mother and i were laughing. overall not coming back again.edit*** Judy was very helpful and friendly at visionworks, but i will never be returning to the optometrist next door.

I would give no stars if it would let me. The new manager is rude, not friendly and does not keep his word. In fact he will even call you a liar in front of a store full of people. Saying you’re not in the computer when you have the receipt in your pocket. And if you spend the money for their protection plan, you just as well burn the money. They will NOT honor it. This was a very costly lesson for me. Because the only choice I was left with was to go somewhere else for a new pair of glasses when I had just got these in February. I hope I can prevent someone else the headache. And I’m still owed two boxes of contacts. I’m sure I will never see.

Went to get new spectacles. Had a mask shoved at me and told to put it on or no service. I informed the clerk that I have medical issues that preclude my wearing facial covering. Then she shoved a card at me to inform me of the company policy that allows them to ignore the ADA. Instead of blowing up and raising hell I departed and called back from my vehicle. As I was trying to explain her violation of the ADA she interrupted me. In the middle of the same song and dance with the manager he also interrupted me. Very unwise.I in the strongest and most uncertain terms recommend take your business elsewhere.Will be filing an ADA complaintRJB

The lady at the front desk was VERY rude and wasn’t thorough in her job duties.I scheduled an appointment for a certain time when I was given 2 options. After I made the appointment, I called back and asked her to reschedule because the other time would actually be better for me. She sounded very annoyed that I was calling back and said “ok I’ll change it” and hung up without even verifying who it was and the time I wanted which made me feel like she would either forget or not do it at all.I showed up at the time I rescheduled for and she of course didn’t show that to be the correct time because as I already knew, she forgot.I let her know that I had called back and changed the appointment and we proceeded with the appointment.During the appointment while I was trying to put in my contacts for the first time, she was very impatient with me. I couldn’t do it on the first 2 try’s so she was raising her voice at me and telling me what I needed to do differently in order to put the Contact in instead of leaving me be or speaking calmly to me or being patient.My husband had an appointment at the same time and was told that his prescription had to be ordered and they would call in 2 weeks when it came in. When 2 weeks passed and my husband didn’t receive a phone call, he called to check like any person would, and she rudely says “if I didn’t call you, they’re not here”. So he waits a couple more days patiently and doesn’t hear anything, so he calls back to check, she gets rude again and tells him to “stop calling, I’ll call you”. Well he waits until the end of the week to try again and low and behold they had been there the whole time and rightfully so he was upset and she said “you should have called and you wouldn’t have had to wait” when we were rudely told to STOP calling in the first place.She is a mess. Will never go back!

Felt like I got robbed, even with the insurance. Was charged for a lot of things I didnt want to get done. But the lady in there was nice and very friendly.

The staff here are so helpful and friendly! They give you time to walk around and genuinely browse at their selection of glasses without being overbearing. They answer any questions you have & if you are having trouble deciding between 2 glasses, they are so helpful with hints and tips on how to choose between the two. My glasses arrived in a very short time frame, which I was super pleased with. And upon returning, the staff remembered me from when I was in the store a week prior picking out my glasses. Highly recommend!

Loving my new glasses!The customer service is great!I came in with my very upset 3 yr old and they tried so hard to calm her down. Even by telling me how to find the closest dollar tree store to replace her popped balloon (hence the upset toddler).Giving myself a few days to adjust but I may need some help with the comfort and they assured me to come back anytime for anything!

Great Dr, profesional . Receptionist was iffy at first but she’s pretty cool, a bit sassy but she was multitasking like crazy. If you are a “Karen” you should go somewhere else but i lives every minute i was in the office.

They have a great selection and wonderful staff. I must have spent over an hour just trying on different frames. The staff was super sweet and let me take as much time as I needed. After I narrowed it down they helped me make my final decision and I couldnt be happier. I really appreciate their patience and honesty with me. They were so helpful and explained all the pricing to me. Candace was awesome. They accept a lot of different insurance so that should be helpful to most people. My glasses were ready after just a few days and they were happy to make the final adjustments so that I was 100% satisfied. Highly recommend.

I went to Americas Best thinking that I could save some money... I was WRONG! They messed my eyes up so badly that I couldnt see up close for anything. I have always used Vision Works and went back. The Dr and front staff here are AMAZING!!! My eyes are still dilated, but boy. What a difference! If I can see this well already? I know that I finally got the right prescription. I highly recommend this place if you want to see 👀😉

Our daughters got their first glasses here and we could not of been happier with our decision! Robin was amazing and helpful, she helped from picking out to picking up. She ensured the girls were fitted correctly and knew the proper care of their new “accessories” to keep them in working order!

The associates were friendly and very eager to assist. I got service from Robin and Shawna (her first day) they helped me in not only purchasing the glasses but helping me with the actual decision making of the lens, Robin was very knowledgeable on the difference the lens make and what the price difference is. I would gladly come back again these sweet associates were opinionated and honest when I asked their opinion on the style I was choosing which made me feel more secure and trusting in my purchase.

Always an awesome experience at this VW! We’ve been using this location for at least 6 years with never a problem. Candace was great today! She used to make the glasses so she is super helpful. Shawna was also courteous and helpful. Robin - the manager - is the best!

Such great service. I came in after going to another eye care store where glasses and contacts was over $500. Here I got two pairs of classes and contacts for less than $450. They were very helpful but not pushy at all. They also cut me some really good deals. Definitely recommend!

I live in Forth Worth, my nephew lives in Weatherford and lost a lens on his glasses. Parents dont have coverage anymore, I called up very helpful over the phone and even let me pay for it and place the order and said it would be 10 days but she would rush it saying that little boy needs his glasses and he got them in 6 days. Very good customer service.

I had the best experience at this location. Robin, the GM, was so helpful and went above and beyond to order specialty glasses for my toddler. Then, when they broke within the first week, she made the process so easy for us and had a replacement ordered immediately. Id give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!!

Initial visit very good. Good service. Were somewhat unorganized. On another visit not too happy was told a totally different story about policy on obtaining second pair of glasses. Attendant not friendly, or accommodating. If return and see said attendant, will leave and return at another time when other attendants are available.

I work in the oilfield. My glasses take an extreme amount of abuse. Recently they got damaged. I took them into the weatherford location today. The ladies took very good care in seeing to them getting repaired. They did a fantastic job. I highly recommend everyone doing business at this location. I will forever be a repeat customer.

The service I received was outstanding. My son broke his glasses. He visited the location and picked out a frame and they had all of the paperwork ready for me when I arrived a few hours later. Delivery of the finished product was quicker than quoted and of great quality. Remarkable transaction with these good folks. I highly recommend.

I had my glasses made there and the lady, Candace, was extremely knowledgable and nice. My glasses were ready right when she did they would be and when I went to pick them up she made sure they fit my face perfectly and were comfortable before I left. She treated me like I was part of her family. I will always go back to her.

Went to the Weatherford location and had a great experience! Candace helped me a lot and took her time when I was being picky about which frames I wanted and then helped me understand what all was covered and what all I was getting for the price (which wasnt as bad as I was expecting either!). Best place in town for glasses. The staff is incredibly knowledgable. The prices are great especially when they have a sale. Their protection plan is fantastic and fairly priced. Candace helped me get two pairs of glasses and my first pair of prescription sunglasses. She is honest and knows what she is talking about. If you have any questions she is your girl! I recommend them for all of your eye care needs.

While I was waiting on the eye dilation to take effect I walked over to Visionworks. I was helped to pick out suitable frames for my needs. She didn’t get aggravated even when I couldn’t see very clear! I picked out those frames and went back to the dr for my prescription. I took he prescription back into the store. I was greeted with a smile and the final process took only a few minutes. Wonderful!!! Why go anywhere else? Thank you!!

My family of 5 has been using Visionworks for years. All of the employees have been wonderful. The General Manager Robin remembers my sons by name and adjusts their glasses often. The warranty on their glasses is used often too!

Finding a new pair of glasses is always a challenge! So many pretty ones to choose from! I went in today & Amanda was so kind & PATIENT!!! Lol, we finally found a pair for me! She was so patient, accommodating & didn’t seem bothered that I had to go through about 20 pairs to find mine. Robin was also very friendly. Can’t wait for my new “eyes” to come in!!! Every time I go in here they are friendly and knowledgeable. This last time I needed to get my RX sunglasses fixed and they didn’t open until 10am. I got there at 9:30am and they allowed me to come in and get the my frames exchanged. They looked up my account and saw that I hadn’t bought the protection plan(30$) so they sold me one right then and I was able to get my frames for 20$ instead of the full price of 200$+. I definitely recommend this place 100%.

We have been using them for everything for about three years now, I told all of my family to go there too. We bought glasses when they had their any pair for 10.00 deal last year. We opened my sons second pair and they were broken. Yes I know, it was a year ago and they said they would replace them. After leaving the glasses there for over 4 hours we come back and they still hadnt fixed them. Once they did she told me Even though I will get in trouble for these I am going to honor that I said I would fix them for free. So she made me feel like the bad guy, I never once expected to get them for free. I told her I would gladly pay for them. She then told me that I could pay half, 35.00. So I gave her 40 and told her to keep all of it. Then she said oh with tax its 41.00 but I have some change back here. This was the Manager, white woman with blondish brown hair that we have worked with every time we have gone in there. All FIVE members of my family need glasses, we will never be back. We will use Walmart for everything from now on. One year warranty on everything. We have taken our sons glasses in multiple times in a year and they have replaced everything.

My husband needed a nose piece replaced on his safety glasses. I ordered one online thinking we could do it ourselves, but it was tricky and we had no idea. We talked to four different Visionworks employees that had no idea how to help us. Two of these employees work at the Hulen store where the glasses were purchased. Today I went back to the Weatherford location, and Robin put the new nose piece on for us! Thank you, thank you Robin!!!! I am surprised Visionworks sells glasses that most of their employees dont know how to work on. We are so very very grateful for Robin!! I just realized I wrote this review months ago, and never posted it! Well today, Robin replaced the nose piece for me once again!

The front staff are rude to customers, not efficient and act bothered by customers. I have never been treated so poorly while paying top dollar for a service. After being rude to insurance customer service, front staff made an ignorant comment about at least it is not a Medicaid insurance.

I walked in this place & INSTANTLY smelled McAllisters. #YuckBesides that, the younger woman working wouldnt quit bugging me while I was merely browsing. Her first question was, Will you be using insurance? After I told her that I was just looking, she says, Well if youre not, these are the more affordable options. Apparently I wasnt dressing to her standards or something. Then she said, I also have Ray Bans over here! I immediately left. I knew she was going to harass me the whole time.. I was only in there 2 minutes.

Every time I go in I get help woth what I need, they make Sure everything is perfect and if it’s not they do everything they can to fix it! This place is awesome!

The Weatherford Visionworks staff went above and beyond to help my son get new glasses. He was only in town, on military leave, for a short time and his glasses broke. I will definitely be returning with my other children.
