When I bought a new bike rack, the guys all helped assemble and install the new rack and transfer bikes across. Then they noticed that my son’s spokes were all loose, and he trued up the wheel right there. Great folks!

The owners and staff are great. Ive bought a few bikes here, the latest being a Kona Mountain Bike that takes a beating on rough terrain while carrying 210 lbs w/o any problems. Service has always been quick and priced very reasonably too. Everyone I talk to about the shop has positive reviews as well.

OUTSTANDING Customer Service. They were not able to help me, but went out of their way abd provide me with suggestions of resources to get my two bikes fixed. If you are ever in need of their serices or product, you will not be disappointed.

The staff and owners have always taken good care of me. I have been a customer since late 2004, when the store opened. They have earned my business several times over. I think all of the regular staff know my name, and I know all of their names. They do good work, and will put your bike on the stand for a quick repair while you wait, if they have time.

I was interested in purchasing my 1st road bike and stopped by the Hub because I lived close by and heard good things. Matt spent a great deal of time answering all my questions and allowed me to test ride a few bikes until I found the perfect bike for me. He and Alex fitted me for the bike and were very helpful getting me set up with all the necessary gear. I am incredibly happy with my purchase and will definitely return for any future repairs or purchases. Highly recommend!

This bike shop is one of the best. We are lucky to have them in Webster Groves. I have purchased multiple bikes, equipment and bike repair services from them and always feel that they are going out of there way to make sure they are taking care of the customer. Alex and his staff were referred to us by an avid rider. As a beginning adult rider, our experience was nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I had a great experience at The Hub. Ron was fantastic and walked us through everything we would need to know to get into riding. We tried a few other shops in the area first but The Hub had the best customer service out of the group. I couldnt recommend this place more.

The Hub is my go to local bike shop. They ate friendly and love a challenge! Mossy of my visits are to fix an obscure issues with one of my #unicycle They are knowledgeable and figure things out. Ive had bikes fixed theyre as well and they do a great job. Always my first and last stop!

The Hub is a fantastic neighborhood bicycle shop. A perfect mix of family-friendly recreational bikes and plenty of high performance options, too. My kids love stopping in with their bikes to air up the tires or even for a quick adjustment. The owners are present, engaged in their community, and generous with their expertise. I highly recommend this store.

My 3 year old daughter got her first bike here today! They treated her with just as much as attention as the pro-cyclist that were there. Ron fitted her with a helmet, adjusted the bike and actually spent time teaching her how to pedal around the store. There must have been over 30 cyclist there for a coffee and bagel thing and everyone was encouraging her. I cant recommend this place enough.

I have been going to the Hub Bicycle Shop in Webster since they opened. My experience has been extremely positive. The owners and employees are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We have purchased 3 bikes there and they keep those and my older road bike in good condition. The shop is a great asset to the community.

Compared with A-1 Bicycle in Kirkwood, this one offers free tune-ups, has a younger clientele and less in the range of upper range bikes. Giant seems to be the local fare here, which is fine if you are looking for something similar to Trek without the prohibitive prices. The free repairs policy is also nice, you just have to be willing to wait for your turn for service.

I’ve been going to the Hub for the last three years. Their prices on bikes, apparel, etc. are in line with the other major bike shops I’ve seen in St. Louis.The mechanics and sales service you get are second to none. I’ve brought my bike to the shop for everything from minor fixes to major repairs. I’ve never had an issue with the prices of services or ever felt as though I’ve been upsold. Their work has always been fair priced and fixed correctly the first time.The sales staff is great and always helpful. When my wife was buying her first road bike the sales staff was helpful without being pushy.Lastly, their weekly Trailnet group rides are awesome. I know multiple riders, new to biking, who have gotten their start at the Hub’s Saturday morning rides because they are so friendly to riders of all levels.

These guys are fabulous. The owners have decades of experience in the cycling industry and draw from a deep pool of knowledge. There isnt too much this team hasnt encountered from hardcore racing to casual riding. They always treat me fair and have built to strong bikes for me - a Giant STP and a Scott Addict. The STP is an urban/dirt free ride bike and the Addict is a 15lb carbon road bike. These bikes are both ends of the spectrum yet The HUB was able to attend to all of my needs. THANKS. I would not hesitate to suggest anyone to The HUB.

People here are always super awesome and helpful. They have a a nice selection of gear and bikes. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and laid back shop, this is it.

Great place to buy a bike. I spoke with one of the owners several years ago who spent a great deal of time with me trying to pick out a mountain bike. He went over sizes, geometry, etc and patiently listened to all my questions. I ended up finding a used bike on Craigslist that I couldnt pass up, but kept in mind for future reference the great help he was with no pressure. Fast forward to several years later when I wrecked the used bike and needed to buy something to replace it. This time I talked with the other owner who was just as nice and helpful. I ended up buying a Kona mtn bike and they were great about making some tweaks to it to make it fit right, including putting on a longer stem and chopping off about an inch of the handlebars for free. I am very happy with the bike and the service I received.

This place has been up charging the bike community in webster groves for years. I routinely had services at other shops where I save 25 to 50 percent. And that is within st louis. To make matters worse, I went in today to get a bike rebuilt, which I purchased and had shipped bc the hub has such ridiculous prices, only to be told that I should go back to door county if I want a reasonable price on the service. Rudeness to a factor of 10. I wisely left and found appropriate pricing and far superior customer service at mesa cycle. Though to be fair I received an equally bad price for service at big shark. The difference was the epic entitlement at hub. Plus big shark charges at least 20 percent less than hub for flat fix.Simply, do not go to this bike store. They do whatever they can to gouge you. And half the time Ive had to go back for them to fix their own work, for which they find a way to charge me. Simply, I will never set foot in thst store again.

Had a bad fall with various damage to the rear mech and wheel. Brought it in, no hassle, gave me a few options on how they would fix the bike. Price ranged from $100 to $250 depending on what I wanted done. They actually recommended a cheaper option as they felt it would be just as good as buying new parts, but my ocd kicked in and opted for replacing the parts. Very fair, went above and beyond in looking over the bike for any other issues. In fact they corrected a few issues with my rear Hub (no pun intended) and front mech. Met the owner when I picked it up, great guy, seemed a bit tired lol, but explained everything very well and walked me through everything that was done. Bike shifts better than when I first had it built. Great people, fair pricing, and excellent work.

I just picked up a custom built DaVinci in2ition tandem. It took four trips to The Hub since this is an expensive decision. Alex (one of the two owners) was extremely patient and set us up with two different models to ride around Webster and demo. I made my decision to custom order a DaVinci Designs through The Hub. Less than four weeks later a beautiful Lapis Lazuli Blue in2ition arrived as promised. Ron (the other co-owner) spent half a Saturday setting us up and getting everything fine tuned. This store is one of the all time greats. The bike is spectacular thanks to these two gentlemen and the staff here. St. Louis has many great bicycle shops and I have a couple of favorites, but the Hub goes to the top of the list. I feel like Ive made some new friends...and theyll remember me. They are truly the greatest!!!

GOD FORBID you didnt buy your bike there, they will make you feel dumb. And it will take extra long to repair and they will tear you a new hole when you get the bill
