I have had my 1992 Mazda Miata and my wife and I Audi windshield repaired or replaced here several times. Quality work and reasonable wait times. The owner/manager Zack is very friendly and a gentleman. I highly recommend this place!

Poor quality glass was installed. Rubber seal was not straight. After asking to get the windshield replaced again, the owner told me that they would charge more. Paid full price for a glass they said it was made in USA, not true. Paint was scratched. Do not trust your vehicle to this place. The onwer and his brother are friendly, but I think they should care more about the quality of their product and its installation.In reply to owner comment: I did not show up because your solution to the issue was to charge more for the replacement. So, after thinking about it, I did not feel you guys were taking any responsibility for the poor quality of the glass and installation. Even knowing that I originally requested Pilkington brand to be installed. So I do not trust my vehicle to get serviced here again. If you guys would care about the issue, you would have followed up at least. Hope you can understand why I left a bad review now.

Had never used this business before but certainly will again. Dropped by on Tuesday after Labor Day and of course VERY busy. Just used Clear Lake Auto Glass for the second time. First time was actually almost 7 years ago and I wanted to use them again. I had a huge crack all around my windshield. Started in the corner from a huge rock while driving. I called, made an appointment and was done in less than an hour and on my way. Windshield looks great! Almost like a brand new car!

Came in on a Friday morning to have Zac assess if they could hand cut ceramic tint on my 53 year old car that had never been tinted. Left the car that morning and it was delivered by the end of day as promised. Looks and works fantastic! Cut down the heat tremendously. I also made an appointment a couple of weeks ago to have the side glass and windshield replaced ony Nissan pickup. I told them I would have to wait. It was done sooner than the promised 2 hours and was perfect. These guys take pride in their work and honesty. Thanks for a great job! Update: Im really picky about my El Camino. I noticed some minor flaws in the tint and took it back. They re-tinted 2 windows with no argument. There is nothing like going to a small business and being taken care of by the owner. The guys that work in the shop go entirely too fast and leave work undone. They were done with replacing my back glass within a hours time. And that included me moving my toolbox out of the way for them to get to my glass. It makes me wonder how well they installed my window. I know that they did a poor job at vacuuming my truck out. I had it spotless before I arrived to make sure that they would see my truck was clean and it should remain that way or better when they were finished. Also he offered to tint my window for 100 bucks. I declined and when I got my truck back the window installed already had medium tint... I feel i got a good deal but only because I had to clean my own truck and decline the window tint. Needless to say its been a week since done and it is still holding up so thats why I give 4 stars.

Unfortunately someone broke into our truck, shattering the rear passenger window. We called and Zach and Zeke (who are so friendly) were able to get us in to replace it, matching the tint perfectly, right away. As a matter of fact, they were able to get it done in under an hour! Been going here for years getting cracks fixed and recently a windshield replaced on my 18 Mustang. Offers a fair price and about 45 mins waiting to get the windshield done. Plenty of room in the waiting area with a TV tuned to food related channels at the time. One thing I truly appreciate is that I had mentioned an issue with my car that did not really involve his profession but he took his time out to investigate it anyway. I definitely recommend giving this business a chance!

I asked for a quote on line and they called me right away because I forgot to mention the year for my car. They asked further questions to make sure they were quoting the correct windshield. I came in the next day. Paid the quoted price. Cant ask for more than that!

Went in for a chip repair to help prevent cracks. Doesn’t looks like they even tried to clean the chip before drilling and injecting the adhesive. Then they cut it off below the surface. The repair clearly has air pockets and is more visible now than before. It was a perfectly good OE windshield before I came here now because of this shorty workmanship it can never be repaired properly.

I brought my 2009 F150 to Clear Lake Auto Glass thinking I had a windshield leak. The pros there checked it out thoroughly and convinced me that it was not the windshield that was leaking, but the moon roof. I made arrangements to return the next day to have the work completed. That work was done thoroughly and professionally at a fair price. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review so that the truck could be exposed to rain, a water hose, etc. It has not leaked a drop since that work was completed. Great job!

I dont know why the evaluation here is so high, so I chose to repair it here. I dont know what the reason is. After I repair it, the central control audio cant be turned on. I thought it was a fault. Later, I turned on the machine and saw that the power cord inside my control was deliberately cut. The behavior is very bad! ! !

Someone bust my bmw car window. I went to 3 different shops that couldnt fix it. I was so desperate I decided to try the dealer whom wanted over $1000. Looked around one more time in which I found this shop who did it for under 20% of what the dealer wanted with super fast service. They saved my car and my bank account.

I shopped around the Clear Lake area for the best deal on Windshield replacement. After receiving a handful of overpriced quotes, I called Clear Lake Auto Glass and spoke with Zack regarding pricing. The total price for windshield replacement and molding turned out to be $100 less than the next competing quote.With pricing this good you cant help but be somewhat skeptical about the quality of work this place may bring. The building itself may appear dated however, dont let that deter you from a fantastic deal. Zack opened the shop at 8:30 AM and immediately took in my vehicle for servicing.They have a small lounge area with a TV, vending machine, and public restroom. 9:26 AM came around and sure enough the car was ready for the taking. The windshield was properly sealed and they even transferred my stickers over with no issue. Throughout this whole process Zack and his team were professional and knowledgeable about the job at hand. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this is your place!

I had a really great experience with Clear Lake Auto Glass. I scheduled an appointment late one afternoon for the next morning and their mobile team came to my house first thing in the morning and replaced my windshield in under 45 minutes. They were friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. Also, they gave me the best price I could find in the area, which comes with a lifetime warranty. They also gave great service like replacing your stickers, toll tag, and mirror just as it was before. I highly recommend.

Wow this place continues to amaze me. I called Zack up after not having spoken with him for at least two years since the last time I got my windshield fixed and just told him my name and where I was from and he was able to remember and greeted me like an old friend. I brought my vehicle up to his shop though he would have gladly come out to my place but I was anxious to get it fixed. I actually had two vehicles that I had him replace the windshields on. Both of them were done in a quick efficiently manner. Even with all the other customers that he was grieving and working with he had time to talk to me. I highly recommend this great location! I had called one day and spoke with Zack, the shop owner, about a quote for a windshield replacement for a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. He gave me an estimate of about $170, and he also mentioned that they have the windshield available so they would be able to fix it that day. Other places I had called gave me quotes between $250 - $500, so they really have an unbeatable price! I chose to schedule an appointment the next day because I had to work late the day I called.When I arrived, I met with Zack and Kerry, the office attendant. They are genuinely friendly and very courteous, not to mention their outstanding service! The shop was not busy, so the mechanics pulled my car in within minutes of my arrival and began working. The service took about 45 minutes, but it did not seem that long because I was having an enjoyable conversation with both Zack and Kerry. Once the service was complete, I paid the exact amount that Zack had quoted me (plus taxes of course). There were no tricks like hidden fees or extra charges for labor or materials.This is definitely a place I would go to again for its reputable and friendly business. These guys are wonderful! The receptionist was so kind and helpful. And the owner was amazing. They did a great job on replacing my windshield. I had used a place recommended by my insurance agent before and just was not pleased with the way the work was done. The owner took me back and showed me where the other place had not put primer under the seal so there was rust where moisture had accumulated. They sanded it down for me, put primer on, and did the job right. I highly recommend this place for you auto glass repair needs.

Fast friendly service and they found a hard to find quarter glass

This place it great. This could have been a 1 star review, but they really came through.I needed a front windshield and called them first before calling their big glass provider in the area. They were over $300 CHEAPER than the bigger company on an aftermarket windshield for my Camry so I decided to give the business to them.The waiting room was clean and cool and the window was installed in less than an hour.Driving away I noticed however that there was an imperfection in the windshield. It appeared to be a poorly fixed windshield chip.After trying to get used to the problem I decided it was too much of a nuisance to ignore. I took it back and told the owner what I had noticed. He couldnt see what I was talking about, but said if I would be willing to give it a few weeks and the problem hadnt gone away he would replace it no questions asked.This is where it could have gone very poorly.Several weeks go by and the problem hadnt gone away. In other words, I wasnt seeing things that werent there. There was actually a problem. So I took the car back.What did they do when I took the car back? They replaced the windshield. No questions asked and no extra cost to me.:) 5 stars baby.

I have been in Texas almost 1 year now and I am a frequent flyer at this business. I am a home health nurse so I am on the road daily. Zack and Zee are always fair, honest, and kind. A simple google search to have my 2002 Honda Odyssey windshield replacement led me to this shop. With a high percentage of positive ratings here and other sites, I decided to give it a try. Overall, I am happy with the replacement at Clear Lake Auto Glass. The price was very comparative, and the replacement was done professionally, and as promised. I am also happy that they did manage to transfer all the stickers I had on my old windshield to the new one. Honest family owned business with great prices

This is my first experience with Clear Lake Auto Glass and I was very impressed. Past experiences with collision repair centers have made me skeptical of the entire industry but the two gentleman who run this company have integrity. I needed to replace the windshield on my Toyota Corolla 2007 and Clear Lake Auto Glass had the best price in the area. I was happy with the prompt and cordial service and I left the shop to take my car home The following day I had to leave town for a business trip and did not return home for a week. It was not until I drove my vehicle on the freeway, in traffic, that I realized that the glass had defects and was distorting images, which made me have a terrible headache. I was very concerned that Clear Lake Auto Glass would tell me that I had waited too long and that they would not replace the glass, or that they would try to convince me that there was no problem with the glass. When I called the company, almost two weeks after the installation, they were extremely helpful and honest. Zach, the owner, told me to bring the vehicle back and they would inspect it. I did this and they replaced the glass without any hassle. I even offered to pay extra for labor time and they refused and told me that they believe in treating customers right and providing quality product. I would highly recommend this business and will return if I have need for a new windshield.

This place was amazing!! My windshield shattered on my way to work- it was only 7am- place doesnt open til 8:30; however, the manager answered- said to head over. when I got there the manager, Zack, as well as all of his employees were incredibly nice- had conversation with me while I waited. I took my vehicle in, thinking I had a ding in my windshield. They pulled my car to the back, then Zack came out and showed me that I didnt have a ding, but some sort of sap on the windshield which looked like a ding. They cleaned the windshield off and didnt charge me.I have taken my vehicles in there twice before, and they provided quick, good service at a reasonable price. I am definitely going back the next time my windshield gets a ding.

In and out in 45minutes at 1/3 of what safelite wanted and even less than the temporary gas station tent stand down the road (and this was a way better quality repair - about a quarter size with spider cracks now can barely see any of it). I had my windshield replaced on my Ford Explorer and the service and price was outstanding!! The quality of work was very good and when I had questions they addressed every single one of them. So the customer service was excellent. So, about 1 month ago I had to return because I had to replace the windshield trim due to debris in road damaging it. I initially started at the dealership, which wanted to charge me 670.00 dollars and it would take a full day. Well I remembered Clear Lake Auto asking about the windshield trim when I had gotten the windshield initially replaced. I contacted them, they replaced the trim for 95.00 and it took 20 minutes....the trim is still on and working fine.. and I am not out of 600 dollars nor did I loose a whole day. These guys are great!!!

Very poor craftsmanship, moulding on my windshield was full of gaps . They said they couldn’t repair it without taking the glass and that they won’t they the glass out for that.Didn’t even know how to properly stick a windshield to a car.

I took a rock to the windshield of my new car. The crack was two feet long and traveled right across my visual field, obstructing my view.The dealer quoted me over $1000.00. I have full coverage and only a $200 deductible. So, I called another company and made arrangements for an insurance covered repair when my friend recommended this place.Wow! Have come to Clear Lake Auto Glass twice now for serious windshield dings over the past couple of years and have always had the same kind of experience:There were two dings that Id tried to repair. They told me that Id successfully repaired one of them and didnt charge me, while the second, which I knew needed specialized handling after the repair kit instructions failed spectacularly, was repaired for all of $35. It turned out to have actually penetrated both panes of glass, so they had to repair it from both sides. Professional, friendly, and ethical.

I had my car broken into and they busted 2 windows on my passenger side. I took my car in at 8:30 am and it was done around 3pm. Its been a month now and the windows are great. I was very impressed with their work and I will be a repeat customer (hopefully not for a really long time!)
