I really enjoy shopping at Food Town. Items are easy to find, prices are comparable, if not lower, than other grocery stores and the employees are super nice. It seems that Edward M. is always there cause whenever I have shopped he has been my cashier. The employees that bag the groceries are nice and cheerful. Especially the older African American gentleman - i enjoy his sense of humor.

Although not the original Randalls, this is the store that the soviet leader Boris Yeltsin visited in 1989 which convinced him that freedom of markets generates and distributes wealth in a much better way than communism. Thus, it deserves 5 stars. I wonder if I will able to visit it personally one day.

Great place to grocery shop for families on a budget. Also great place for Hispanic type food items. Meat selection is a little lacking but other than that all around good place to shop for your money.

Great place if shopping on a budget. If youre willing to go early (near the time they open) you can usually find some sort of meat that the price has been marked down. Their International selection has been growing, on top of an already large quantity of Mexican style ingredients. They also have an app that can, after spending a certain amount in store, will automatically give you $5 discount on your purchase. As well as a Sunday and Weekly Deal that will net you something for free. Lastly they have a rather decent selection of Sodas.

Nice, clean store with shelves appealingly and fully stocked. Aisles were clear and it was easy to get around. Saw some cool items priced inexpensively.

I like to get Italian Parsley and cilantro from food town since it is cheaper from any grocery stores in the area. Good qualities of vegetables and fruits and great prices. However, do not try to get anything from that place beside produce. Expired products that includes lunch-able which I was going to buy for me kids. ( the date of my visit was August 21, and the expiration date was August 12; pictures were taken and posted with this review). Meat looks blue and green. Cashiers are very friendly usually or very rude, no between!

I wanted to make some pork belly tacos. Cooked the pork in pressure cooker. I switched it to pan after PC and cigarette smell heavily filled the kitchen. I thought someone was smoking outside. Nope, the meat. Checked outside to make sure I wasn’t smelling a draft. No one smokes around my house. My only conclusion is that these animals were fed on cigarettes butts.

Fun fact:. Boris Yeltsin visited this place in 1989, and it kind of broke his brain. The selection and quality were far better than what he had at home. This store likely led to the fall of the Soviet Union.

It was late,and the front employees werent even caring about the customers all that much, just ignoring them and the prices were high, it was like buying things in the Woodlands, good condition, very clean and a very good selection in the produce area. The rear employees and produce guy were top notch,not like the lazy checkers up front

For being a grocery store I suggest having more cash registers open.

Somewhat friendly staff. Clerks and others are usually pretty nice. The managers seem to hate life. Conveniently located. Nice vegetables selection. Meats seemed to be a better price here if you buy that. Most stuff is more expensive than it should be. Always super cold, so bring a jacket.

Food Town has a warm staff and very friendly..All the food isles are very organized.

AMAZINGG! I used to come to this building when it was Randalls and my brother worked there. Once it became food town,I was so excited because other locations are too far! Every time I shop they are either waiting to help or asking how they can help..managers hop on the register when they see lines getting long...I love how they make sure I have the app and clip the weekly coupons to save me money...the store is always clean and I love to talk and every time they love my conversation makes me feel like Im at home..I love this store and I wouldnt change a thing

Last time I was in there. The cashier lady from a different aisle that I was in, grabbed me out of line,( quite a few folks in front of me, some with way less itemsthan I did.) took me to the service desk, told them to check me out quickly because This gentleman has to go. Thee whole thing made me uncomfortable and singled out. It definitely got me some stink eyes from the other patrons.I havent been back in since.

Checking out is very slow and their produce lacks variety. They claim that their prices are lower than Kroger and Walmart but its not true. Also if you are in need of assistance its very difficult to find someone that is available.

The store overall is a decent place. They have a nice selection of food if you are tired of the same old Walmart fares. For example, they have Canadian bacon Totinos, which is excellent. Also, Chili ramen.I knocked one star off due to Tiffany M.s cashier skills. Or lack there of. Complete disregard for a waiting customer as she fumbled for far too long to hang some new bags.. even though there was no one behind us.

Ive been visiting this Food Town for about a year and a half now, as its right around the corner from my home. Ive always found this location to be clean and the people very friendly. The employees wear masks (today is 9/4/20), so if thats important to you, youre good to go.

The service is fine. Im puzzled as to why they mutilate the turkey wings and there have been times the meat was rancid.

Mexican city, as my mom called it. Nothing wrong with that but she aint wrong. You can still get what you need but its like trying to shop in an asian store.....youre the minority in there. Everything is in spanish and you have to wonder, do you want that or naw? That is if you can read it and its a new snack. Its no Krogers but Itll do for a grocery store.

I enjoy shopping at Food Town. I love the prices as well as quantity of products. I have been shopping here for several years. I have shopped early in morning and lunchtime before going to work. My only problem is now since retirement and I live in Galveston its hard to shop here as much as I did. I wished there was a store located closer or in Galveston.

Very customer service oriented in that they are not only willing to look for an item in the back but also bring it out if they have it for the customer.

This place is a completely nasty place. The prices are astronomically HIGH! The only thing I can say that is good is the customer service. I wondered around in the back trying to find a restroom and found a demeaning sign, how does it help with employees morale?

This food town store is a good size with a lot of nice items youll need for great meals. The employees are nice and helpful. Kenny a black guy who works here bagged my bags and he was gathering baskets in the parking lot to sure us a clean area. The only thing Ill say is that they do a better job at checking the expiration dates. Saw a few expired items or item that expire within a year. Yet its suppose to be 2 years off like baby food etc. Sorry Im so exact on expiration dates. I just love my food extra fresh.
