Needed in depth assistance with a few items. Bob, in particular, was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. He gave EXTREMELY good customer service! In fact, every employee I came into contact with today was very pleasant. I was also able to get everything off of my list...and a few more items for less than I thought I would have to spend.

The store itself is great, the customer service is always fantastic. Im giving it 2 stars because of its delivery service. First of all, their delivery window was literally 6AM-8PM. Meaning the delivery could happen at any point in between those 2 times. They were supposed to deliver a prepackaged sliding glass door into my garage. They were also supposed to call me 30 min before they arrived so I could prep the area. They did neither. Instead, I was watching TV waiting for a phones call or even a door knock but instead all I heard was a thud on the side of my house. When I got up, put my shoes on, and walked outside, all I saw was the delivery guys driving away pointing to where they dropped the door off and taking a picture so they could confirm the delivery. This was a $2k sliding glass door.. no signature, no confirmation that it was ok, NOTHING! They literally slammed it up against my house, and left.Now I know this wasnt the stores fault directly, they hired a 3rd party delivery service. However, Home Depot has no built in Rate your delivery button on any of their emails or their website. Or at least, non that I could find. Truly great store, truly awful delivery.

At first i was disappointed at how much money i spent. After putting everything away, i was amazed how much bang for my buck i got. This location has a great staff too. Always friendly and helpful

Horrible experience with the manager. Best to avoid this store at all costs.They had one fire pit left in the style I was supposed to get. Box seemed beat up, and the item had possibly been returned, but the associate I asked assured me that they carefully check these items to make sure all the parts are there, and it isn’t damaged. Yeah, I should’ve laughed and walked out, but my mission was clear and I bought it anyway. Item was a lot heavier than expected, so it was a chore getting it home. And it was a little concerning how many employees had their masks down under their chins. Sure enough, I wrestled the box into the garage, opened the package, and it was bent up quite a bit. I really didn’t want to repackage it and haul it back to the store due to the weight and Covid risks. Called the store, and the associate said they should be able to issue a partial credit or do something for replacement if I can send pictures, and she transferred me to her “manager”. Guy was pretty curt, not at all helpful, said “we don’t have an email you can send pictures to”, and said I have to bring the item back to the store. Instead of that hassle, I called the service number inside the package, and Home Depot customer service bent over backwards to help. I sent the service rep pictures of the damaged parts. (The service rep said the store manager definitely has an email address he could’ve given me). She sent a parts request to the manufacturer, to replace the bent parts if they’re available (which is a long shot). And then she contacted the store manager to try to set up a partial refund. After quite some time, she gets back with me, and is clearly upset and out of breath. She told me about her frustrating experience with this manager, and it sounded like a doozie. We had a couple good laughs at his expense. Fortunately, it looks like Home Depot corporate can resolve the issue. We’ll see. And I’m very glad I (hopefully) won’t have to set foot in that store again.

Friendly staff! I was able to find everything I needed! Only reason I couldnt give a 5 star is because their parking lot has other busy businesses around it and it can be very challenging to get in and out!

The Wentzville, MO Home Depot has knowledgeable and very helpful associates! A lot of the associates are like walking encyclopedias with tons of knowledge, practical experience, and great advice! Highly recommended!

The staff was available and helped me find what I was looking for. The one item was a Milwaukee foldable dolly which logically would be placed next to the pack outs and tool boxes, but nope lawn and garden. Got it and got out.

This is a nice, LARGE home depot store, with a great selection of products, but what makes this location truly 5 star worthy is their employees! Ive shopped in this store probably 50+ times, yet each and every time I am blown away by one employee or the other- how friendly, kind, and willing to go above and beyond to help you they are! Today, an employee named Mike (from the hardware department), spent 15 minutes swapping light bulbs out of their display for me, so that I could see, and choose, the exact right color-hue for my new light fixture! He climbed ladders, opened boxes, changed out display lights, and taught me how to read the boxes, all to help me pick the perfect bulb! This is just 1 example of how awesome their employees are!A few months ago Id ordered some switch plates off of their website for my light switches. The website said they were 2packs, but only 1 packs showed up. The lady working at the pick up desk, as well as the male manager, went above and beyond to fix the problem for me, and even gave me a discount for my trouble! I have only ever had wonderful experiences at this Wentzville Home Depot! I highly recommend this store, and truly appreciate their kind, helpful employees! They make all the difference!

All employees on the floor that were willing to help customers were doing so. Others (the majority) were socializing amongst themselves while actively avoiding customers in need of help.HD app was negative help in locating in-store items, awful user experience, apparently app is controlled by anti-human marketing department. No problem though, found item with lowes app in nearby store.

Just wanted to give a 5 star review on Brandon and his staff!! We bought OSB and the price dropped $10 right after. We have tried to get service from this location on 2 occasions, one for an attic ladder and the second for a water softener and 2 sets of double doors. Never received the call for the ladder or the softener, set an appointment for door measurements. Took off work early to meet the time and they never showed and never call to say they were not coming. I guess they have a good enough business to turn their heads on $8-10grand. We will take our business where it is appreciated.

Was being helped by a nice young lady and a boy interrupted to not help at all. said they didnt have a product we were looking for. turns out they did have it. he thought we were Hitting on this girl. and he sent us away. we went around the corner until he left and went back and she took us right to what we wanted. this is the second time he has done this.

I ordered a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The refrigerator was the main thing we really needed to update. The day before delivery we moved our old refrigerator to the garage and while doing so the freezer (it had been slowly breaking) completely broke. The next day when our new refrigerator was delivered, it had a large scratch on it, so it was sent back and they scheduled delivery of a new one. It took 2 weeks to finally receive our new refrigerator, so for those 2 weeks our household of 10 (including 6 children) struggled to get by without a working freezer. When calling Home Depot to see if there was anything they could do to help us receive a replacement sooner, I was hung up on twice by employees at the Wentzville Home Depot. I finally gave up and called corporate. Corporate could not get a refrigerator to us any sooner but did offer to refund me 20% off of the cost of the refrigerator. I never received any refund so I messaged corporate again, and they stated that they had no record of the conversation they had with me, and I would need to call corporate again. I will not bother calling again, but I will never use Home Depot again in the future. We are remodeling our house and planned to buy our flooring, countertops, new doors, and showers from Home Depot. After spending over $5000 on appliances and having a very negative experience, I will not be giving Home Depot any more of my business. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Purchases a tool with in store credit and I was unable to return the item (had no power) because you can’t return items if you have used store credit to purchase them. Now we are out $150 for a tool that never worked properly.

Got a fridge delivered today. No issues with fridge, had issues with delivery people. Said they couldn’t make it up driveway, ok no problem we’ll get our UTV and trailer and get it up there. But they were supposed to move the fridge inside and install it and THEY LEFT. It was all on us to unbox it, move it into the house and install it. Good thing my boyfriend is handy and strong. Called Home Depot to complain and spoke with a manager that said there wasn’t anything he could do for me since I was happy with the fridge. Umm I’m only happy because it just happened my boyfriend is handy and strong and made it work. If you aren’t these things, plus don’t have a moving dolly on hand, I would think twice about buying an appliance from here. I know I will be going other places for my home improvement needs from now on.

Bought the Arrow Newport Shed, sign said it came with the floor frame kit, spent all day assembling the shed to find out it was missing. Called customer service they told me to come back up there and they would open up another box and give it to me, turns out the sign was wrong which is not my fault wouldnt have wasted my time with it if I knew that. They only offered to give me a discount on the plywood which I already had. Very dissatisfied with the staff that was a part of this issue and was never giving the opportunity to talk with a manager. Will be going to Lowes from here on out.

Excellent customer service.

Home Depot and their installation partner are not worth your time. They are unable to handle scheduling and when they cant account for their jobs properly they cancel your job at the last second after youve taken off work and disassembled your entire house for new carpet. Only to pass the buck and not take accountability for their services. My time is worth money and managing a new carpet installation with two children is next to impossible, let alone when you cancel on us 30 minutes after you were supposed to be there.

I go to Home Depot to get all of my DeWalt tools because Lowes does not carry DeWalt and the employees are great as well

Went in there for exterior shutters. Where is everyone? I was about ready to leave and head to Lowes. Finally seen a person busy dusting. He sent me in the right direction. I did not see them in the isle he sent me to. I seen workers sitting at a couple desk. Not a can i help you came out of their mouths. Went up to them and asked which isle and one man told me half way down the isle. Please.....dont get up and help me. What happened? Used to love going into Home Depot....everyone was friendly and helpful. So now I have to take some back because broken slats and discoloring. Ugh dreading this

Arrived at 910 pm does close till 1000 pm walk straight to the items i was buying was told light bulbs were on the other end of store so left cart full of my items got bulbs came back to thr pro desk where we parked the car and cart was gone the time was 930 so i gathered all my items again went back to pro deck with no cart pushing a table saw to check out the 2 workers said check out was at the other end i went all the way back a 3rd time was checked out and walk back louded my items and itwas only 939 absolutely horrible

My family bought a washer and dryer from this place just about a year and a half ago but they do not work more than they actually do. Between them not working and the horrible costumer service of their protection plan company and the service company in the year and a half we have had them we have only been able to use them for a couple of months. DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT, GO TO LOWES!

Love this place! Me and my husband absolutely love coming here...they always have what we need but they never have enough staff. When we need help cutting wood or anything it’s always hard to find someone and when we do they tell us to keep looking because they can’t help us.

Id love a new window installed in my garage, so I setup an appointment for a quote/consultation. I clearly stated my intentions in the request form online to install a NEW window for the garage.Clueless lady drives up to my house in home depot gear for a 4p appointment consultation for above. Clueless lady states they are not carpenters and cant install a new window. They only replace existing windows.Obviously this didnt end well. Even bothering to drive to my house and waste my time... a phone call would have been more considerate.Steer clear of this joke service. Even beyond my intentions... it was made clear Home Depot is inept at doing any actual work. Why would you ever want a non-carpenter or persons with 0 actual experience installing a windows to do any of the above? Clearly this service is flawed.

We purchased a washer and dryer from home depot along with the extended protection plan. When we spoke with the sales rep we were adamant that we wanted a set that was a top loading, large capacity, and would last a long time without breaking down. Within the first year our dryer had to be serviced 3 times and the washer once. Fast forward to a year and a half, the dryer has required service 4 times and the washer is now on its second service call due to issues with the mother board. To make matters even worse the service company that the home depot protection plan hired has no called no showed 6 times. This means between taking off work to wait for them come (and they dont show) and all the laundry mat visits we have lost hundreds of dollars this year. We are still waiting for them fix of our washer and both home depot and their protection plan department simply state it is not their problem. My sister in law purchased her washer and dryer with Lowes and when it had issues Lowes at least provided a washer for them temporarily until they were able to service their existing one. ALL IN ALL JUST GO TO LOWES!!!!

We had two young men helping with question and answers to what we were looking at, then had an gentle that helped pretty much answered with the other questions we had . We appreciate all the knowledge and input. This will now help us in the next step in our project.

Anyhow, I went in there for a couple of sheets of pegboard and some pegboard accessories and I was not displeased. Everything was perfect. Everything was great. I love Home Depot. I will shop there many many more time. I cant get enough of the place. If you go there tell him Jay Starr sent you youll be glad you did. I visited the Wentzville location today great place.

My mom went to this store with her friend, and my mom doesnt speak any English, but she understands very well. First of all, the cashier name Lynsey, please if you see her, avoid her, she is EXTREMELY RUDE TO MY MOM AND HER FRIEND. On September 8th, 2020, at 10:42 AM. She accidentally charged my moms credit card $2,673.66, when clearly her bills supposed to be less than $300.00. My mom and her friend went back to the store, and when she seen them, she acted very rude and say Whats wrong?. They told her what happened to the receipt, WITHOUT ANY APOLOGIES, she pointed and shouted at them and say Go to the customer service, its not my job. Lets me remind you, her friend speaks very well English. I am extremely upset how they treated them like this.

Placing the order online was simple. Estimated delivery was accurate. If you look to use your veterans discount with an online purchase FORGET IT! Only good on in store purchases even if your spend over $5000 on flooring that they do NOT carry in store. Will prob take my business to Lowe’s for significant purchases in the future.

This was a great trip. Although they didnt have the items I was looking for but we did stumble over a great deal on laminate flooring. What I found funny, not really, was the flooring was $0.59 per Sq.ft. which was a great deal until I grabbed the foam underlayment and discovered it was $0.29 per Sq.ft. Thats half the price of the laminate flooring and its just foam 1/8 thick. Man Im glad I saved a big ole roll of that stuff from a job site they were throwing away.

They consistently hang up on customers. If youre lucky to reach someone, theyre nothing but rude. Thankfully this town has another option.

The Home Depot is always your go-to place for many household products, they have about every tool you would need to do any project.

I have spoken with the management twice at this store about their uncaring attitude toward compliance on their posted company policy of wearing a mask inside the store. They just dont care about it. They are concerned about the dollar more than they are concerned want the customers health. Take the signs down if you are not going to require compliance.

Its nice that you can walk around in there and not get approached by anyone that works there and theyll go out of their way to avoid you but two minutes after the announcement of closing time theres no shortage of people there to tell you to leave and walk you to the registers just in case you might see something and want to buy it..

We’ve had 4 different issues with this home Depot in the last week. We paid $80 to have some lumber and a large amount of garden soil delivered, and when the delivery arrived the garden soil was missing. We were also given a different size screw than what we ordered. When we got to the bottom of our pile of wood the last two 4x4’s were in such bad shape they were unusually. Who gives that to a customer?! And finally we placed an order for some staples that we needed, picked them up (which took forever) and got all the way home and they’re the wrong item! We called to have them bring out the correct item (since they’re the ones that gave us the wrong item) and they won’t exchange it via curbside pickup during a pandemic! We’ll be shopping at Lowe’s from now on.
