Unbelievably great service! My tire started losing air on the expressway passing Donna and I quickly needed a Discount Tire place. I found Weslacos location and zoomed in. In a rush, stressed out, needed to be in Brownsville at a certain time. Nestor assisted me. First he acknowledged my demeanor and made no promises, but was reassuring me that he was going to try his hardest to get my tire fixed and without too much disruption to my schedule. He was calm, positive, and reassuring. I needed that cause I was losing my sh#t. I alerted my colleagues of my situation and felt like whatever lets see. I was out of there in 25 min. I was late 10 minutes to my event and everything was A-ok. I dont know what training these guys go through, but Nestor was a compassionate and understanding person. He was very professional and would repeat things very calm & clear. This is the experience that I want my kids and grandkids to have when they are under this level of stress with unexpected tire issues. I know it takes a team to run the show there, so I gotta say that I highly recommend this location. 👌

What can I say, their service is always top dollar. They offer insurance on tires, which is a God send if you live in the valley! Potholes, screws and bolts are just laying in the streets and Im always the one picking them up with my tires! The lifetime balance and rotation is nice too...All in all, they make a person feel like they have VIP status every time you go, and who doesnt like that‽

Great customer service, fast and friendly. I had recently gone to Nissan for an oil change and tire rotation. I had explained to them about an issue with one tire. All they did was put air in it. I asked did they fix the issue, they told me it will be an extra $30. To get it fixed. I instead told them no thank you and I will take it to Discount tire for a better price because a patch shouldnt cost me $30. He laughed and said with a smirk in his face, ok good luck. Well I did, got it fixed for free! Loyal customer..

The guys were amazing! I arrived at the store at 2:00p.m. in need of tires and rims. We had to wait all afternoon for product to come in from across town. I watched these guys deal with customers for 4.5 hours. Professional, polite and attentive! My product arrived 30 minutes before closing time. They stayed 30 minutes late installing my tires and rims.Great crew!!!

I brought my vehicle in for a slow leak on back passenger tire to the Weslaco Texas store. They took apart front tire because they said it only had 15psi. I had just checked the sensor before I brought my vehicle in. It was at 37psi. Then they come and tell me that the tire is no good due to a patch someone else did. Just because they didn’t do the patch themselves. So they wouldn’t put my original tire and rim back on. They were forcing me to spend over $500 for one tire. They installed the spare instead. I have always done business with them, and never had any problems! They are using these tactics instead of helping customers. They will not get anymore business from me and my family. I recommend everyone do the same! After all this, they still charged me.Update- Took tire to a reputable tire shop, and they tested tire for leaks. There were no leaks to be found! That just shows what type of business they run here at the Weslaco discount tire.

Ive NEVER had a bad experience at any Discount Tire across the country and the Weslaco store is no exception. We were treated like royalty.

I ordered some Vision Prowler 17x9 wheels, had them installed in about an hour and a half. I bought them for my sons Tacoma but when he saw them a couple of days later he told me those werent the same wheels we ordered. In the picture on the website it shows a wheel that has a deep dish but the ones I got have practically no depth to it. Im posting a pic that clearly shows how theres no lip on my wheels like the one they were advertising. So be careful when ordering wheels, ask as many questions as possible to ensure you get what you ordered. Its not really the stores fault its more on the corporate website...I just think they should have a disclaimer on the website.

My husband ordered new tires for my car. He made an appointment at 2:40 to put on the new tires he shows up to get the tires. When he gets there they’re busy so the guy there tells him they won’t be able to put them on until 3:40 and that they will call him which is fine. He returns at 3:40 even though they didn’t call him and it turns out they skipped him and moved on to the next person, they never gave him a call. The manager didn’t even handle the situation, he didn’t even care. Now it’s been over two hours since the appointment. Never buying tires here again. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I bought some new tires and wheels and i waited 2 months and still waiting to get them, so I called and asked why they havent came in and they have never ordered them so they just took my money.

They called morning of my appointment to indicate online tires I ordered had not come in. Offered an in stock substitute slightly cheaper with mileage warranty. Arrived at 8:45am for a 9am appointment and had a text the car was ready at 9:15am. Met me at the door with my receipt and keys. Great service. Thank you!

Im extremely satisfied with Discount Tire! I was going to pay about $1,200 for tires that I bought here for about $630 including 2 sensor replacements! My gf and I have recently bought two sets of tires and two sets of rims and we are both very happy! Their employees are very helpful and always fix any errors that may pop up. They were honest enough with me to replace a sensor that they accidentally broke for FREE (mine has the annoying metal sensors.) They could have just charged me and said that it was already no good, but nope, they fixed their error! THATS a level of honesty you dont get at many tire shops! I will continue doing business with Discount Tire because theyre doing nothing but making me happy every time! My new rims look AMAZING and at an awesome price! :)

Soo grateful to the Manager Mr. Valdez and staff who still helped me out even when they were getting ready to close. I literally showed up on Saturday @4:56pm thinking they closed at 6pm as they do on Mon-Fri only to find out they close at 5pm on Saturdays. They right away checked my problem tire (Which I have been struggling with for the last 6 months) and unlike other tire shops who don’t care and just want to make a sale or even take advantage of girls and their “Non tire knowledge” recommended 2 options. Long story short, I now have a brand new tire with warranty. I highly recommend this particular location. Anyone need new help with tires?? Come let them help you!!!
