It was good but could be better. I miss the good customer service. Some of the staff members seem to be annoyed when you ask them for help.

So sorry ShopRite in West Babylon is closing next month. Convenient, close to home, bargains. I hope the surrounding stores dont suffer.

What a shame this ShopRite location is closing. I have been doing my weekly grocery shopping here for nearly 20 years since the Buonadonna family opened up the supermarket.What kept me coming back is the friendly dedicated staff, the convenient location, good quality of items, and reasonable prices.Major praise goes to the hard working friendly staff. Over the years we have gotten to know each other on a first name basis. I hope the Buonadonna company is able and willing to take care of their employees and make sure they have employment at one of the other two locations. I look forward to seeing them at Bay Shore and Massapequa.

Epic fail!! Went to go pick up my nieces graduation cake and it wasn’t there!! It was ordered 3 weeks ago by her mom in the store. Nobody was in the bakery so I had to go up to the front desk where I was ignored for a couple of minutes. Walked to the back with which seemed like a manager and he told me nothing was there. He said maybe she went to Deer Park or Bay Shore. She lives in West Babylon!! Was going to pick up something else but they didn’t have anything I wanted and why should I give them my money or business!! Never shopping there ever again!!

2 Questions about the Shoprite in West Babylon, NY1. Why does 1 entrance have to be closed all the time now? Open both entrances.2. When someone buys a 5 gallon bottle of water, why doesnt the cashier have the friggin bar code for the returns? Depending on the cashier, they either ask the customer to get it or they have to go get it. Doesnt make sense.

Great meat department compared to other markets in the area. Wide selection of all types of products.

The staff isnt bad but the place is beyond run down and seen better days.

The employees here are helpful when you need them. The prices are almost always good and even when there is a long line at checkout it seems to move very quickly. Looks like management has there system together. I like coming here and would recommend anyone to shop here if they needed groceries.

Just went into to get some items that I wouldnt find at another market I frequent.

This place is nasty!!!! I have recently started shopping here since it’s close to my sons school when I drop him off. The food is bad, on one occasion I even took the molded cheese off the shelf and gave it to the Clark. Two day ago I bought Oj and today my husband went to grab a glass and it’s black. I have never seen had oj bad before until now. I will never shop here again I’ll stick to stop and shop. Never had a bad experience there in 30 years. please check your grocery before buying them. I wish I could give it zero star.

This store needs a serious upgrade. Some of the nicest employees but the store itself is behind the times. Every cart is broken and stock is always low. Its a busy store and could use a makeover.

SHOPRITE clean store not a lot of people. Didnt have to waite long for a register. An the staff was very helpful. It might be smaller then the other SHOPRITE.But the staff is great 5 stars

Talk about a big store having a small town feel. Its has people working for them that are helpful..steady. Dont get overwhelmed with customers and customers who appreciate their service. It takes both, folks.

ShopRite is always the best! I just think of it as The Supermarket.

I can usually find what I want there and they always have reusable bags for purchase if you forget to bring bags

Horrible. they run sales and on first day of sale they dont have the item. dont want to give rain check on digital coupons. They state they have no control on vendors like coke & pepsi and the items thdy stock in this store. Other locations dont seem to have this problem. staff membets (cashiers) dont cover their mouths at registersnever have enough cashier to handle sunday business. store poorly stocked

The manager, perhaps his name begins with R, but I cant recall, is so nasty & rude not only to myself, but every person he spoke with one evening. I have also met him in the Massapequa store & he was extremely rude there too. If you give a rain check for roast beefs that youre out of stock on the 2nd day of a week long sale, how do you put a weight limit on it? A roast is sold as a roast, & to limit it to 3 lbs is plain wrong!! The sale didnt limit the size, so why limit on a raincheck? He should not have any interaction with public!

There is such a wide degree of food products you can get here, whether it’s an assortment of meals, ice cream or anything else food related. Just very convenient!

Shoprite in Babylon is one of the best grocery stores the employees are friendly and management is on point. The prices are reasonable the owner of this shoprite should be proud

Every week they run out of ground beef on Tuesday which is when I like to make tacos. You think they would order more so this would stop happening. Also they refuse to carry new items even if they have the brand already on the shelf and it would just be a new flavor from the brand. A manager told me this. Theyve moved things around recently and it didnt make things better it made things worse. The atmosphere is depressing. Nobody sells hello or asks if you need help. One day I was buying pasta sauce and the jars had dust on them. I brought it to a managers attention. They apologized. I came back a few days later, and the jars still had dust on them. I told the same manager that wouldnt order the new flavor from a brand they carry, and he said it was because of the holiday. They couldnt take 5 minutes to dust their products...because of the holiday? Ive been coming to this store for over a decade. Its only gotten worse. Bad managers, constantly out of stock of popular items (lactaid milk is another example besides ground beef) and their organization of products has gotten worse. I only come here out of habit. I really want to abandon them and shop only at Stop & Shop. I just dont know that store that well. But maybe its time I found a new supermarket. One that actually cares about its customers.

Dont understand why there is one line for everyone. Its not gonna help prevent the spread of the virus. All those people in one line defeats the purpose of social distancing. Sorry but its tough to stand 6 feet apart in that situation. Plus, I shouldnt have to wait behind people with 100 items when I have one or two. At least customer service rings me up. I just think the owner should look into this.

Its a good place to do your shopping but you must check all your expiration dates. I found many things way passed the sell by date. Block cheese had a sell by date of April 2019. It was September. Ive brought many items to their attention. But its relatively close to me and prices are reasonable. I go where the sales are.

Nicely stocked and very friendly staff!

They didnt seem to be as stocked as the shoprite in commack or bayshore. I passed their seafood department and the fish looks iffy. Its in the refrigerated display, but not on ice so it doesnt look very appealing. And they dont even have ribs!!! I just wasnt impressed.

Havent been to shoprite in awhile. I was disappointed today. Alot of shelves empty. I think the bowl and basket products arent as good as regular shoprite brands. 🙁

Good inventory, fresh produce and vegetables. Well stocked on all grocery items with a variety of choices in jar pasta sauce. Dairy is fresh and abundant.

Your cashiers need to know the customer comes first instead of standing there talking to each other. I was packing my own groceries while they were having a friendly chat. Half way through my packing one of the people asked me if I wanted some help. When did they stop bagging the groceries for the customer. This is not the first time I had to bag my own groceries while they stood there and watched me.

The employees are not nice the prices are not what they say. I can’t wait till it closes for good. Everyone should stop shopping there and boycott yo get them to close sooner.

Shelves are continually empty of the same things over and over. No one can tell us when things might be coming in. Ex.store brand of non-chlorine bleach and wet floor wipes.

Shoprite had great sales starting today, so we clipped the coupons and headed over. All the sale items were in stock and most were very clearly labeled as the coupon items. Some items were stacked in a special aisle for sale items, and the store workers were extremely good about helping customers find things. The lines looked long when we arrived, but our checkout was fast and efficient. Well worth the trip!

Great prices good food. Shopped here for years. Shame I moved too far away to make the trip worth it anymore. Miss this place.

I go out of my way to shop at ShopRite and pass 2 other food stores getting there. Today I attempted to return two items that were spoiled. The customer service i received from the manager was extremely rude. The store is selling items that are expired so if you are shopping here be sure to check the expiration dates closely. I understand the no return policy and did not have my receipt due to covid 19 germs possibly adhering to paper used for reciepts. I feel that the manager could have easily pulled up my courtesy card and verified my purchases and a credit should have been issued. Very disappointed

This can be a frustrating store but I always go back despite my complaints. Some have better prices on some items but not the selection, others have better selection, speciality items and seafood but are more expensive.The good: Good everyday prices and very good sales. The selection is good, although they dont have everything some of the very large Shoprites do but I like the products. The meat is good quality at good prices (cant believe how good porterhouse is at sale price cant be beat) but you never know what they will actually have on any given day.The frustrating: Sooo crowded, narrow isles, not enough cashiers weekdays and they run out of sale items and meat all the time.Overall: Shoprite of West Babylon could be better, but for me its the best overall option for quality, selection and price.

They have everything, the prices are the lowest Ive found and the cashiers are so sweet and friendly and helpful. I shop once a week now and my shelves and freezer/refrigerator are nice and full. I use to run from store to store trying to get everything I wanted, now its all under one roof. Im a happy customer!

I love this store. They always have the Caroline Cart available for my daughter who has special needs and is too big/old to sit in the regular shopping cart. Everybody in the store is very kind and helpful.

They have a nice selection of everything and that is the only good thing about this place. Store was crowded when I ran in to pick up a couple of things. Only 2 registers were open and no express line. Cashiers are also very slow.

Very busy on Sundays, but overall a good grocery store for anything you need with good prices.

Love Shoprite but this is a small store. This leads to crowded aisles with several sale items out of stock. Service by employees and vendors was excellent.

Better prices than their competitors. Clean store, fresh produce. A little bit of a wait at the Deli counter when busy. Always try to go during the early morning or late evening to avoid the crowd.

This is an older store and most of the staff is very pleasant for the most part. There was a lady arguing with my husband over a purchase recently. Maybe she was having a bad day or just fed up with the wrong prices in her machine.

Not very nice experience today. bought some spoiled lunch meat from them yesterday, attempted to return today & they refused to take it back. There should be some gray area with their all sales are final especially if you selling food that is unfit to eat. S/w the manager Charlie ad he confirmed that yes you money is out the window as a result of our bad product because that is their policy. We even asked can we toss the spoiled one and get a new one at no cost, but no. They are taking advantage of customers at their most vulnerable time, every cent counts so when you tell some one that you are slapping them in the face. But not only did he squash everything thing I said that made sense why they should give refund or store credit he walked away and into office while I was still trying to plead for my money back for what we had to end up throwing in the garbage. At minimum you should hear me and let me vent, but no, not even that respect. Thanks Charlie..... for nothing!
