Due to the boat show being canceled this year, my wife and I went out on a pontoon, tritoon shopping expedition . I bought a 6 year old tritoon with 68 hours on the motor. It had a tear on the seat they said they would fix. After a week we came to pick it up and the seat was not fixed. Waited two hours for that to happen. Also, the battery was dead when they attempted to start it. They promptly replaced it at that time. I got it home and took it out. It seemed sluggish, had the fuel filter replaced but then I found the middle toon full of water and the bilge pump not working. They then fixed that. I was willing to overlook all of that because they took care of the issues promptly and they came very highly recommended by some friends of ours. That is until the motor seized up without warning after putting less than 20 hours on the motor. It really makes me wonder what else was overlooked during their inspection. After they looked at it they said they were not going to do anything to help me. I told Adam on Tuesday that I would be down Thursday to pick it up. When I got there they gave me the previous paperwork I requested and that someone is bringing your boat around front. I went outside to wait and then Adam came out and told me they were putting the gear case back together and it would be 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting I went in and spoke to someone else who said they were going to call when it was ready. I was obviously not pleased with this information. At this time I was told it would be another 20 minutes. Any trust I had in this business is gone. I do not appreciate being lied to and am feeling like I got taken for a ride. I could not be more disappointed. I am very sorry that we ever stepped foot in this business.

Al & his team are the only place you should purchase your watercraft. Cedar Lake is such a trustworthy company that cares about you and your boating experience beyond just “getting a sale”. We purchased everything we needed for our first lake place from them, and they provided and followed through with service still to this day. Highly recommend.

I stopped in today to get some advice and supplies to repair my canoe . Staff members were all helpful. I dont remember the one gentemens name, but he also has a canoe and explained on how to do the repairs. Today just shows that even with crazy rules, service was number 1. Keep up the good work, as will pass on to all. It means more as canoe was my fathers and over 50 years old. Good people here!Norm

Great service have had some problems and Ben has fixed them on site even went out of his way to get parts. This has been on weekends where boat would have been down.On the sales side Rich has always been awesome have never had issues. Will buy my next boat thier for sure.

I have had the pleasure with dealing with Cedar Lake Sales for many years. Their parts dept has helped me get what I needed for the boat I owned . When it came time to replace the little 15 boat I had, I talked to Rich and Bob over a long period of time and finally pulled the trigger, at first we couldnt get a deal done on the Crestliner I was looking at because of my financial situation. But low and behold, they happened to have an older fish and ski trade in which checked off all the boxes that I was looking for . I looked at it, Rich made the deal, we got financed for it and now I could not be happier with our purchase from Cedar Lake Sales . We bought our most recent boat from Cedar Lake. We have always purchased brand new before, this nearly new one was a boat they took on trade (but serviced the boat with former owner). We worked with Rich. We found Rich to be extremely responsive to our calls leading up to the purchase. Very accommodating to a very late day test drive due to our schedules.Upon pickup, the boat was pristine, and the team went through the whole boat with us so we knew the many features.After we purchased the boat (WHICH WE LOVE!!!), we found out a docking light was burned out. To my shock and amazement, they stood behind their 90 day guarantee and got us the entire new housing that this boat needed for a burned out bulb.Would I purchase from them again? Absolutely. They stand behind their sales, which is invaluable.Five star company!

Even the day I picked it up they kept it indoors so it wouldnt get rained on, now thats what I call consideration. I went to another dealership earlier in the year and they couldnt come close. Found a boat that they had on craigslist was an as is unit priced well. Were more than happy to work with me and answer questions. This may have only been a $1300 sale but al and brian were very nice to deal with. Will do business with these guys again !!

Spouses be advised. If your significant other goes in and gives them your social security number they will run a credit check on you for credit approval without first checking with you that they have your consent to do so. Per their finance employee and two other employees it is Wisconsin state law that if you are married they can run a credit check on you without your consent as long as your spouse gives them your SS number and information. When I asked them to provide proof of this law in writing they were unable to and continued to verbally state it was a Wisconsin law.
